Growing up, music has been something extremely important to me. I have faced many obstacles that not everybody has had to endure. I have a handicap brother with a rare diagnoses. There are only a few children in the world who struggle with the same obstacles that he does. The doctors had suggested we play a lot of music in order to help his development with speaking. At a very young age I was exposed to music in my house non-stop. It became my security blanket. Struggling with further issues I had found myself struggling with depression. Chris PalermoHello! My name is Chris Palermo. I am 22 years old (23 on August 16th) and I live in northern New Jersey. I will get right to the point. In 2008 (17 years old – high school) I auditioned for the New Jersey All-State Choir and was accepted as a Tenor 1, with high ranks. After I graduated high school, I furthered my music education at the University of Hartford, and at the County College of Morris where I majored in vocal performance. I am currently attending William Paterson University in my hometown of Wayne, New Jersey. However, do not let my experience in singing classical music fool you… I have also been in a number of different bands over the past 5 years, singing and playing guitar with all kinds of Rock N’ Roll. Alex MaesI have been a performer since I can remember. I acted in community plays when I was young out west. I have had voice coach training and on stage experience from the age of 3 . I have classical theory and musical training. I play piano by ear and also played classical violin from the age of 3 until I was 14 years of age. My mother is a classical piano teacher and her and I played together at weddings. I’m from Nova Scotia, a place filled with a special musical talent. Every weekend my friends and I get together and jam. We get a couple guitars together and we get right to business. I’m extremely outgoing, outspoken and a force to be reckoned with. I have waited years for my voice to develop to its full potential and have finally found a country twangy maritime sound.
