A. PrayAll my life i have been told i should be an actress. I am 25, and i can LITERALLY remember, my family members telling i should pursue Acting when i grew up! I once heard Steve Harvey say you shouldn’t chase your passion, you should do what your GOOD AT…I love to be in front of the camera, & always have. Modeling has been my main focus for years, but according to everyone im around on a daily, whether it be friends, family, co-workers, or my Residents (I’m a CareGiver), i should be in the ACTING field. It’s pointed out that i am overly dramatic, and Extremely Expressive, often, which ultimately makes me feel like an outcast. Lately i’ve been trying to consider, “Where will i Fit in….” The only thing i can come up with is that i AM made to be on stage, and to be amongst people, whether they are similar to me, or different, because im a people person!I get a soul easing feeling when it comes to Influencing others with my positive, boastful, adaptive personality. I love to spread my love for Humanity, and nature, and L I F E as often as i can, whether its encouraging words, or a helpful Smile… The difference between me and other applicants, is that i’m not going to try to do ANYTHING that isnt for me. I know i am suppose to be something big, because of how big my personality is, how i can COMMAND a room, with Silence…as well as Speaking, also the dramatic effect i have on people naturally, simply from being myself… My ultimate goal is to show the world ME, the real me, uplift our youth, encourage our young black men, to grow to be better fathers than theirs were….To spread Peace, and bring awareness back to what LOVE can do for us, if we spread it properly.ALSO to bring a Different, comedic, side to Tyler perrys shows, as well as the OWN network. Serenity M.My name is Serenity McLaurin, I am a 19 year old african american female, living in College Park GA. I’ve always wanted to be an actress/model, but never had the necessary funds to get where I needed to be in order to make it. At age 17 my great aunt believed in me enough to finance modeling classes at Modeling and Acting School. Since my graduation from said school, there have been a multitude of well placed auditions that I have had to pass by.
