MillerFor starters, when I was a kid growing up my mother had her own Television show in Beloit, WI entitled “The Laura Miller Show” in the early 90’s to about 2007; it was only local so nothing big. I was feature on her show a few times growing up, but never had the time to do it regularly because of grade school and living with my father from time to time. I am currently in my senior year to complete my Associates Of Applied Arts Degree in Visual Communications; and the career field(s) I would like to go into after graduation are Video Production & Motion Graphics. Besides my college major, I really want to be an actor. It has been a dream of mine since being on my mothers TV show. I own a huge movie collection and can recite lines from numerous movies & TV shows. Since I am a video major I have created numerous videos, some for school related projects and others were just for personal fun with friends and family. I currently work as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of Ms. One thing I’ve learned about the medical field is, you have to stay positive. The doctors that act like they’re the best thing alive. The patients act like they have reservations at the Hilton. And administration expects you to do a thousands things in a twelve hour shift. I take it upon myself to show my team members a good time. I like to have fun and joke around. One of my coworker’s father died recently. She came to work in spite of this and I made sure she had little time to think about it. I love to act and I love to be goofy. When I was a little girl, I wanted to be a power ranger. The pink ranger was my favorite character. I would rush home from school just to watch the show and pretend it was me on the screen. I love to be the center of attention. There is always a thing or two to learn from your movies as it reflex on our everyday life, attitude towards others and the way we think. I am African, Nigerian to be specific and that has left a strain or two on my day to day life, either because of my “African” accent like people tend to call it or I just look African, but at the end of the day I speak and understand English very well.
