  17. Victoria

Singing has always been a comfort to me. It allows me to open up my chest and expess my emotions. I have sang for many reasons, to let people see I can shine, to explore who I am through the many beautiful timeless ballads, and to make a few dollars to get by. I love singing. I love how music feels when I sing and when I listen. But most of all its totally FUN! FUN! FUN! I ENJOY the performing, the drama and the spontanious creativity. I love comedy! I shine the brightest when I do broadway music that involves comedy. All and all im up for the FUN!!!

  18. Andrea Bergin

As with most reality shows people are interested to hear about the contestant’s “struggles” so let’s start with one of those first…I am a 39 year old married mother of three crazy, fantastic boys. As of now we rent a home in a neighborhood that is beyond our means because my oldest son has some special needs and in our current school district he has the supports & FRIENDSHIPS that enable him to succeed…I can’t take that away from him. It is very tough for us to stay here financially…we have no savings & live week to week just trying to get by, living in fear that when our lease is up in February (or anytime afterward) our landlord might decide to sell the house and leave us with nowhere to go. Now…we have other struggles of course but so does everyone! Some have it better and some have it worse…and I am thankful everyday for what I do have…especially my three amazing boys:) With that out of the way…now for the REAL reason I should be on The Winner Is…. I LOVE TO SING!!! I always have, when I have that microphone in my hand I feel alive! I’ve always been told that I have a great talent but the timing or opportunity just never came about for me to really try. NOW IS THE TIME!! I work as a bartender and recently (on my night) we started Karaoke and I have the pleasure of singing live several times a night and it is amazing. I know it may sound silly to some…being excited about Karaoke….but it’s the only chance I have to do what I love so I relish every moment. I want to compete on The Winner Is… so badly & for so many reasons….the realize my dream of singing on a “real” stage & showcase my voice, the chance to win some money to help my family who desperately needs it and mostly to show my boys what their Mama can do and make them proud:) I sincerely hope I hear back from you soon about how I can audition. Thank you so much for your consideration and for giving a mom of three some hope that her dream could come true.

  19. Sashay Washington

  21. Kim Martz

Hello my name is Kim. I have watched your show from the beginning and was so excited to see something like this. I am a singer and I believe I have the ability to win this game show. I sang in college groups and have also been in many great bands throughout my life. Music has always been my passion and has always given me the strength to get through hard times. I will sing anytime, anywhere for anyone, because it brings me such great happiness. I had a brain tumor in 2006 and because of this I had to stop working for a few months. We have been struggling for years to try to make ends meet. I want the chance to show my talent, and also make some money, to get us back on our feet. Could you please send me the information I need to Audition.

    Thank you for your time,
    Kim Martz

  22. Tracy Schamburg

I have sung all my life, was voice major in college and then changed to music theatre. I decided I would be “realistic” as I probably did not have the guts to leave my small Texas town and go to one of the major music hub cities to try to “make it big.” I put singing on hold for almost two decades. I eventually got a Masters degree in professional counseling and have worked as professional counselor for 20+ years. In 2003, I was asked to sing w/the contemporary band at my church. In addition to our weekly church “gig” we have played out on several occassions and have recorded two cds. Ironically, my mom (who was a chld prodegy on piano)reminded me before her death in 2005 that when I was a young child I would tell people when I grew up I wanted to be a Singing Psychiatrist! I think that was a combination of my parents musical influence (dad was also a musician – a drummer) and the old Bob Newhart show! So, while the singing psychiatrist dream came true, I am single parent of two teenage boys and work many, many hours to pay the bills and put them through Catholic High School. My youngest will be turning 16 and needs a car, college soon…..If I can sing to help support them, than why not! Lets give this a shot….as the saying go you always miss 100% of the shots you never take!

  27. Angela Carmendy-Village

    I AM JUST NORMAL.
There is hardly anything about me that stands out, except for my voice and my ability to create a song out of anything. When I was five my father passed and my mother showed me how singing can help deal with my problems. From there on out I have sung my way through a plethora of ordeals, trials, and all the astronomical disasters that I have faced. My life has been a whirlwind but by realizing that my snags weigh lightly in contrast to the less fortunate, I have been able to persevere. Because I have not limited myself to any one genre of music, it has expanded my possibilities to sing on whatever manner I choose. In brief: my voice I have honed through lessons, I have a wide range, I definitely am a “POWERHOUSE” singer, I can sing with or without a mike (you really need to hear my vocal strength in order to beIieve), my resonance is strong but steady, and my character is enthuastic, educated, considerate, and witty. Nothing significant to disclose other than I have been a mother, songwriter, singer, laborer, A PoliSci student, and currently I am a proud mother of a daughter with cerebral palsy. I do not have stage fright and I basically sing every path I walk. I KNOW that I will be a VITAL ASSEST to NBC on “THE WINNER” and I know that I can SHINE, just need to be given a chance, I will not disappoint.

  40. Crystal DAntonio

I am a 30 year real estate professional who loves to sing as much as I can. Music has been a large part of my life even as a young child. My father loved to sing opera and had an amazing voice and personality. I remember listening to him and his talent definitely had a huge impact on my life. My dad is my angel up in heaven now, he passed away when I was 9 years old from a massive heart attack. I continued to pursue music as a teenager but had many set backs because I didn’t have the support I needed to excel in the music industry. My mother was a drug addict and alcoholic. At the age of 25 I lost my mother to liver and colon cancer. I have always used music and writing music to express the grief I’ve had to deal with at such a young age. Last year, I ended up also losing my childhood best friend due to a drug overdose. All of these trials has made me who I am, and I’m the most passionate person you will ever meet. I use my life experiences in my music and you can always feel the heart that I put all out on the stage. This show is for me and I wont give up until I win . PLEASE PICK ME FOR THIS SHOW !!! I DESERVE IT AND I WANT MY PARENTS TO SEE ME FOLLOWING MY DREAMS BECAUSE I KNOW THAT ALL 3 OF MY LOVED ONES ARE LOOKING DOWN ON ME.

Hello there! My name is Dakota Keith Norman , born and raised in Indiana. I am a gay 16 year old young man who has had to deal with a multitude of people saying I can’t make it anywhere in life, or I will never be good enough for anyone. Ever since I was a little boy, I have had this dream of becoming an inspiration for, not only gay people, but for humanity in general, through my voice. I have been singing ever since I can remember…and the only thing that keeps the spirit of “voice” alive, is my mother, the only one that has been there for me no matter what. I don’t want to be involved in this competition for the money, for the fame, or for the celebrities. I only want to be involved because of my love for singing. I mean, yes, I do want the opportunity! I have tried my hardest to become the person I am today, and I will never try to be someone who I am not. Please take the time and think about the me being an option. I will not let you down!

It would be a dream come true, to be on your show. Please help that dream come true!

All my life, music has been my passion…from singing in a group with my four sisters, to taking piano lessons, or writing my own songs.. music consumed my life. Growing up, I aggressively pursued a music career but was unsuccessful in finding any real promising leads. Amidst juggling kids, bills, and just everyday life, my dream was put on hold. This past year has been the most difficult I have ever faced. My mother had to undergo brain surgery to remove a tumor the size of an Orange. This surgery has left her unable to do all of her normal everyday activities. An anonymous person was able to wreck even further havoc on my life by making a phone call and making false accusations. These accusations led to the legal kidnapping of my children. My children were placed in foster homes where they were neglected, manipulated and abused. I fought for them with every inch of my body, but it seemed to no avail and i could find no one who would help my family and i get justice. 8 months later, when we were finally given the oppurtunity to be heard in court, the accusations were proven false. Because of me being divorced, my x who lives in a different state, was able to obtain temporary custody of my 3 oldest children based on the accusations and even now when they were proven false, I have yet to have my children to return home. This tragedy not only tore myself and my children to pieces but because of the enormous stress it placed on my family’s life, my father suffered a stroke. We are still trying to recover fromthese horrible events. ..but amidst everything it has taught me to NEVER give up! This past year has motivated me to do things I never thought possible. If I’m chosen to be on this show I will give it my all and in doing so, I believe I will not only prove the impossible, but I will show the world that no matter what life throws at you, you can overcome it. If i win the show or prize money I would first: help my parents receive the care and treatment they deserve, pay off their bills so they do not have to worry about things, 2nd I would use some of the money to pay an attorney to get us back in court so my babies can come home and last I would use the rest of the money to push for change in our family laws so that similar sitiations couldn’t happen to innocent families. Please allow me to pursue my dream while making a positive impact thru my music. Thanku for your time and consideration!

  52. Sylvia Morris Ferguson

I’ve been singing alllll my life and I KNOW I could please the crowd and win this 1 million dollars! I’m 54 years old and have been waiting for most of my LIFE for a show like this. I just need a platform to show the world what I’ve got. I’m sassy, smart and a powerhouse singer. Back in the 80’s I gave the music biz a shot but left it to raise a family. I would love the chance to sing again and compete with other good singers and see where I would fair out. I’d also like to help my family get out of debt. In 2007, we closed our business and when we did we had to go back into the work force. This money would help us get out of debt and start over. I’m currently a secretary but I would love the chance to try it one last time in the music industry.

Music has been a life substaining entity for me.. after spending a number of years in a group setup and not moving anywhere hardly I’m ready to take full responsibility for myself and share my God giveing gifts with the world. The only way to go as far as I can is to have no more limitations cause I believe in me and don’t want to leave this world without giving my dream a chance to come forward.. your show is one of a kind and I’m very thankful that its in existance. Otherwise lots of people would never get the chance to follow their dream at that level of exposure.

  54. Marcelle Beavers

Hi I am a singer whom had opera training from a very young age and turned to country music when I was a teenager, that’s how I met friends singing at parties. I have opened for Toby Keith and Perfect Strangers and was set to get a million dollar recording contract when I got pregnant. I knew it was a sign from God as I was told I would never be able to have children. I walked away from music, had my baby and a 2 he was diagnosed with Autism. I quit music vowing my child would know that he was loved. I am a regular on singsnap as,this is the only way for me to do what I love, online. I appeared by invitation in 2011 in Houston at Karaoke Battle USA Southern finals, and it was great as I brought JJ my son and he got to see his momma sing on a stage for real. To be able to do this on Tv and to win the Million dollars which I will if you let me on the show, I could secure my sons future so even though he is Autistic, he will know he can do anything he wants his future is secure.

Please Please check out mu performance singing “I Know who Holds Tomorrow”

I would like my Sister who is 28 a Mother of 3 to be considered for an Audition. My Sis has been singing since she was like 11 years old. She even went to a performing arts JHS. I enrolled her in this Music Festival many years ago before she became a Mom and she was the Talent Show. She had an Audition to meet with someone from Bad Boy Records and the day before she had to go she got SICK come to find out she was pregnant. We tried calling the people of the Music Festival to advise them of what happen but unfortunately she lost the opportunity to do it. All my Sis talks about is becoming a famous Singer one day, but she also is dedicated on being a Full Time Mom to her wonderful Beautiful Children. My Sister is not fortunate with MONEY so its hard for US to travel and make auditions like we want to. I am a Single Mom of 2 Children and all I ever wanted for my Sister is to become a Singer. Her name by the way is Maria Santiago and she has voice like Alicia Keys.. you will not be dissapointed of you picked her.. PLEASE this is our LAST CHANCE to get her out there!!!

  56. Johnny Riley

I have been singing since I was very young. I live in Texas and am a husband, father & grandfather. I can sing country rock and blues, also I have been given the knickname “Magic Man” as I play guitar, harmonica, and sing. I sing cover songs and have originals though I have no official representation, just a independant artist scraping supporting my family performing as much as I can in Texas and at times in Oklahoma. One million dollars would change our lives and allow me to treat my wife with a great trip we never been able to afford to take and also give me the funds to take a shot at my dream, playing on the Big stage and take a shot at the charts.

Well a man has to dream. Thank you, Johnny Riley

Hello, I am a 32 year old mother of 3. I have been singing as long as I can remember. I have been in a couple of bands over the years. But, for the most part up until recently, I have been a bartender. Around the north Mississippi area I am THE singing bartender. I am now a stay at home mom going to college. I would love this opportunity to better the lives of my children and fiancée. Oh to not have to struggle each month. I have always wondered what if? What if I had moved to Nashville at 19? What if I had joined that Elvis impersonator that time? Please give me a shot to put my what if’s to rest. Thanks!

  59. Eric Goordman Jr.

I am a soon to be 39 year old father of 2 teenage girls, and for the last 18 years or so I have put my passion for singing on hold while my passion for raising my family took center stage. I have now reached a place in life where my daughters love music and performing as much as I did when I was their ages. It is their passion that has awoke my own musical passion. I am now ready to take my move from karaoke night at the local pub to something bigger. I know that The Winner Is, is the perfect next step for me. I cannot wait to put my passion and my talent up against those of others.
