  3. Christal Mims

Hello! My name is Christal Mims. I am 17 years old and have been performing for as long as I can remember. I grew up singing everywhere and anywhere anyone would allow me to perform and have taken numerous classes and attended conservatories and schools that have allowed me to better my vocal abilities. As I head off to college I wonder where and how to keep the music within me alive as “real life” tends to get in the way of many who have a passion for the performing arts. I don’t want to let music go and pursue another field just because it may get me a “real job.” An opportunity like “The Winner is…” is just what I need to further fuel my hope and passion for music and I would be extremely grateful for the chance to participate in the show. Thank you for your consideration!

I don’t think there’s a day that goes by that I don’t sing/listen to music. I used to take singing lessons but I still practice. I always wish to become a famous singer/actress. And please consider me it’d mean SO much!

  6. Tonya Ware

I would love to be considered for this show.

    I started singing @ 6 years old.

By the time I was 14, my first public audience was in the local jail. My Dad went to speak to and pray with inmates on a weekly basis.

After college, my career started in finance and insurance. I had to end the job because I became ill. For more than 7 years I have battled sickness and at time have even lost my joy of singing.

Adrian Ware, Susan Boyle, Diana Nyad, and many more have restore my faith in dreams coming true. I feel my voice would bring so much inspiration to the world, I hope have the chance to share it.

  23. Keliie

I would love the opportunity to sing on this show! Money aside yes that would be awesome but I love to sing and would love to sing on this show. My story….. :)… I have been singing for over 18 years, I’ve traveled the east coast singing in cover bands and entering every competition you can think of won some lost some that’s how it goes. I am 36 years old now and gave up on the big time when I lost my brother in a tragic car accident. He was my# 1 fan and always pushed me he was saving up money to manage and produce me as well. Of course I was 21 then and he was 20 when I lost him so that being said a lot has changed in my life since then.. So I decided to move to Florida and do another thing I do well and that is in sales. I know . I know from singing to selling furniture .. Wow what a change but I had to be real and find a real job! So here’s the thing I’ve tried out for all the shows , American idol almost through & America’s got talent very close sang in front of producers ect… I’ve kinda given up on these kinda shows because I feel they have already made there selections before they have even heard me and all the waiting in line ect is for show.. Sorry am I bitter ? Maybe;) but I thought I’ll try one more time for one more show! And this show promotes fun and competition and I love both of those things! So please please email me back so I begin to have faith again in these shows and give me a chance to prove to you what I got!! I ain’t getting any younger and it was both mine and my brothers dream for me to be heard! Thanks again for reading;). Kellie

  24. Greg Durham

Hello music nation! Im finally going to take that next step! I want to get a chance to shine on a bigger stage. There is nothing more invigorating than performing for people! Surely I hope to get my shot at it!

  25. James Daniel

I love to sing and I love to compete. I think I can win audiences and add a unique element to the show with my voice and personality. Plus, who wouldn’t want a chance to earn money doing what they love?

  26. JeanneMarie Ansderson

Hi; My name is JeanneMarie, I am 47 years old and singing is a dream come true for me. This is my passion and feel I was born to sing. I have sung in chorus in High School & College. I did not pursue my passion I guess I was to afraid to do at the time. Now I feel I need to show my three boys that they should follow their dreams and that is what I feel I will be doing by making it happen when I win on The Winner Is…I also need to do this for myself. I want to help my children to pursue their dreams & wining the money will help them if it’s college or to start a business. I want to help the developmental disabled individuals I work with at Brian’s House Inc. They have dreams too and can not do anything about it because their income is limited to State funding. I really want to make a difference in people’s lives and show them at any age you can do it. I hope you give me a chance for an audition because i do not think you will be disappointed!!!

  27. Stephanie Correa

Many of us have a story to tell and a love for music- Expressing it make true singers feel alive. The best feeling ever is to see joy on faces of people whom are listening. Life is short: Sing with feeling and purpose. I am a mom/stepmother of 7- with 7 grandchildren..Giving the gift of music is not always about how young or slender you are or much you can hop around the stage , it is about true expression from within. This comes from rich life experiences and challenges. All we need is the chance to make it happen- whether it is one person or 50,000 in the audience.

  28. Denise Wells

    I’M A BELIEVER…DREAMS DO COME TRUE!!!

Hello, my name is Denise Wells. I am 45 years old. I believe I have what it takes to grace the stage. I have always had a great desire to be a professional singer. I have always loved Mrs.Patti Labelle, Mrs. Gladys Knight, Mrs. Aretha Franklin, Mrs. Dolly Pardon, Ms. Fantasia Barrino whom is one that is a great inspiration to me, and the late but great Ms. Whitney Houston. I also loved Mr. Luther Vandross, Boyz to men, and Mr. Tyler Perry whom encourages me to keep my dream alive and don’t give up. I also love the Gospel Artists such as Bishop Marvin Winans, Ms. Yolanda Adams, Pastor Shirley Ceasar and a many of more. I have sanged in the church most of my life, as well as performed in the local areas in St. Louis, Missouri. I have over come a lot of obstacles in my life, for one I have overcome the addiction of crack cocaine, I have been sober and clean since the year of 2002 and still yet walking in my sobriety. I believe if someone would give me the opportunity to show them what I have such as the gift of singing, not only would my life change…but it would send a powerful message to the younger generation that anything can be accomplished if you put your best foot forward and strive really hard, work really hard for your dream to come true. I believe all I need is a door to be opened for me and the right people to hear me. This would be a dream come true for me. I always wanted to do something that would have made my mother very proud of me before she passed last year, but unfortunately that did not happen . So the only one that I can make very proud of me for the accomplishments that I will be able to achieve is me and those that surround me. I work very hard to set positive examples for my children and others in my life. I believe that I have what it takes to be the winner. I am willing to work very hard to set a foundation for my future. I am desiring to make my dream of becoming a Professional Artist a reality by putting my best foot forward and striving to be the best that I can be as well as to go higher in my career and reaching my goals in life especially my music…which I take very seriously. If you would please give me an opportunity you will not be disappointed…i have been told that I have a phenomenal voice as we as gift…Thank You for giving me Hope and a Future. God Bless. Denise Wells.

Finally I’ve recently lost my job as a dental hygienist. It cant get much worse for us at this time. Never in a million years would I have expected to be in this predicament. Hey! I have a great voice though!! This show and opportunity is great because singing competitions are so arduous, but this show allows you to judge yourself and potentially take cash with you.! This is a fantastic idea! I can do this and I’m waiting for the next casting call so look out! And to all those who who let me down,”Booya, I’m dusting myself off and picking myself and trying again!” Thank you The Winner Is!

I am a 44-year old mother of 2 that has always wondered what life would be like if I pursued a singing career earlier in life. I have sung in several cover bands over the years but have never been able to make a career of it. Although I wouldn’t trade what I have now, my wonderful family, I would love to make a living doing what I truly love, SINGING! I received a casting call for the 1st season, but missed it because of work. I hope I can get another chance. Thanks!

Timing is everything. It moves me, makes me shy, comforts me and inspires me to overcome. I’m blessed with a talent that needs to be heard. My enemy has been myself, to let go and let God. Judgement is my fight, but not against my voice, against my life in general. Guess I was afraid to place my talent in the same boat. But it’s time I’ve shined for my talent then just good heart that sometimes gets hurt by others. I’m ready to be heard.

  56. Sandra Riley

I am a 46 years young individual who loves to sing and show case the talent God has giving me. Being a contestant will allow me to perform what I enjoy doing as well as show my love for music. This experience will help me grow as the musical director for the praise team at the Union Rescue Mission. This adventure is new for me as well as for them.

  57. Monique " momo" Foreman

  58. Sonia Paz

Hi I am Sonia , next month i will be officially a teenager . I have always had a passion for singing it let’s me express myself and it’s just something I love to do and think I have I shot at. I promise if I get chosen to try my best. I love singing and I do it everyday in my car, my house, and well anywhere I go! If I am not singing well then I am doing nothing. Music is my passion! It gets me through my life I sing when I am sad, happy, or angry. I moved to a different country when i was six I moved to U.S.A. and it was really hard because I had to learn English so what I would do is start singing songs in English and it helped a lot with my English. When my grandpa died it hurt me really bad so I used music to get me through it. Also I am a triplet so I typically have to share everything and I really don’t own anything and singing is something that really I “owned” and had.Another thing that music helped me at was getting through my parents divorce. My parents divorce hit me hard because all my friends’ parents were married and I was the black sheep of the bunch or when I needed the comfort of a dad I would sing and automatically feel comforted and happier.Singing is just a part of my life. What singing means to me is not only to sing lyrics but to express yourself and to tell a story and I love to tell stories with my voice and create a more deeper meaning. I think I would be great for this and I would not let you down and that’s a promise! I WAS BORN TO SING!

  59. CIARA HARRISON

i’m 19, with a pretty marketable look. Have an uncanny ablility to mimic many… the ones i tend to sound most like… adele, corinne bailey rae, rhianna, beyonce (on some songs) the lead for paramore plus alot of broadway musical type stuff… old school like etta james style point is God has blessed me with a unique gift.

My mom loves this show and wanted me to go for it on here! you never know what might happen…. i’m a bit scared but this is what i was born to do so i would love the shot to win and take it home! I wanna use my gift to reach others, challenge and encourage people to live their dreams and follow their passions too! can’t wait to hear back from you!

  60. Arturo Guerrero

I am 28 years old and live in Texas. I have been singing since I was five years old, participating i. school talent shows to auditions at bigger singing competitions. I am Hispanic and love to sing Spanish songs, which will be something different if you all give me an opportunity to prove my talent.

Just last week I was part of a local singing competition and unfortunately even though I had the highest score of all 32 participants, they changed the rules and I ended in second place. However, I will continue to look for other opportunities to prove my talent and I am asking for an opportunity here.

Thank you very much, and I hope to hear from you soon.

  61. Natalie N. Dyer

Why should you consider me, because I will bring a different flavor and spirit to your show.
I teach my children to enjoy their lives, have a plan and go forward. It’s time for their mother to go forward and stand on faith for the rest. The plan is to sing your socks off and take home the million!!!

I’m Kennedy 12 yrs old i love to sing. I have wanted to sing for as long as i can think. I’ve had a lot of people tell me i couldn’t sing. My friends family and chorus teacher thinks I’m very good. I don’t have a lot of chances to sing in public. If i was chosen i would act like i just got in my dream job. 66. Jessica Booker

I am 28 years old. I have been singing all my life. I have been taking care of my family since I was a little girl. I have always had a fear of leaving because of my Moms condition. So I never pursued my dreams. Over a year ago my mom had a subarachnoid Hemrage or Brain bleed. One thing that she said to me during her recovery is be something and follow your dreams. While she was in the coma I always sung to her. She said that helped her through it. I want to share my gift with the world as well as better my life. Finish school. Start a family. Watching The Winner Is gave me that drive and motivation to step out and cast my fears aside and take a chance. I believe I am blessed and I want the world to experience my blessing. I would donate some of the money to different research causes that are close to me and my family because we suffer from them and helping to find a cure is always needed. The money would also help me and my family do better for ourselves. THAT IS MY DREAM!!

I believe that i should be on The Winner Is, because i am young i have a new fresh voice. I want it to be heard. I have sang a lot since my dad was diagnosed with cancer, it helped him cheer up and it helped me get away from the world that was full of sadness and agony. I really think if i got on the show i would have a chance for the million. I have a lot experience because my brother has sang since he has been 10 years old, he is now thirty so i believe he has taught me well.
