tanishawhy i should be considered? why should anyone be considered, for thier drive and passion for what it is that they love the most. i personally love to sing. it brings the best and the worstout of me. all i acn see is music in my future. when i try to think of something else lol it knida mmakes me mad. i get frustrated. when i listen to the radio, i can feel myself behind every word as if it were me singing and not them. when i watch performances, it brings tears to my eyes because my heart longs to be on a stage. whether im writing my own music or singing someone elses. because no mattter where the lyrics came from it means something to someone. music is in my soul and without it im not sure where i would be. all ive ever wanted was a chance. whether the out come is what i want or not, a chance to live something that seems so far from me, a dream. i dnt want it for the fame or the name . i want it because i love it. like a doctor loves to heal and make people better. in a way i feel the same way. music is my medicine and my doctor. and that will never change. and if i dont catch your eye it will remain so. i would just love the chance to share the same love that i have for music with everyone else. my mind and heart is open and ready for it all ready for anything. ready to join my love. and to be around others that have that same love. others that i can grow and learn from. just like the doctor i could never stop learning and growing. take my voice to places i never knew were possible. and i speak to you as humbly as i know how. this is what my heart has always desired. but im goin to stop now lol. cuz i cld probably go on and on. It takes hard work and determination people! and I have more drive than a hemi! My family and close friends are really the only fans I have at the moment, but after creating a youtube account, I am gaining more popularity. I have been told that I have a beautiful voice, but I have yet to show the world my talents. After being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes 3 years ago, writing music and singing became a way for me to escape the heartache and pain of living with this disease. I’d love to not only prove to you that I am a candidate because of my talent, but also be a role model for those in the world also coping with this disease; I want to give back to those who have given so much to me, and I feel that you will not be disappointed when you hear me sing. Jau'QueenHey guys, Jau’Queen here I’ve been loving music since I can remember. I wrote my first song at the age of 8, and you would always catch me on the computer with the door closed singing my lungs off, but growing up if you was to put me infront of a audience I would have to close my eyes and sing. I remember practicing the high note Beyonce hit from Emotions by Destinys Child over and over and over until I actually hit the note. My God mother Alice Weatherspoon would always tell me if i hit the note or not. I started going public with my music without being shy and having to close my eyes in 2007. I would and still do write my own songs, record them, and perform them. When i first started i didnt even know how many bars was supposed to go where and still dont, but i use my ears and i write to the beat and you would never be able to tell that i dont count bars. My mom was always the main believer in me, and always told me Jau’Q if you going to do this… do it right baby, and you dont have to open your legs to get there just have faith. Then August of 2009 hit. August 1st my grandma died, August 24th my mom died, and a week later my step dad died… i was and basically still is terrified. It was like my world ended. I was 22, a mom to a 4 yr old son, lost, didnt know whether to go left or right.. really didnt know nothing because i was a teenage 22 year old who was protected by my mom from the real world. I am the youngest out of 6 including me and the only girl with 5 brothers who are way older than me. They was already gone and living life, who wanted to pick up a extra child, so i manned up. My mom dieing was a HUGE reality check for me and thats when i started going extremly hard on my music and education because i felt and still do feel the pressure of being the only girl whos a mom and still not being able to call myself a accomplished somebody. This opportunity will be a dream cather by itself. I can not let my son think being average is the way of life. I have to become somebody for him to believe and follow his dreams in todays society of Chicago. Taisia KapelielaOk..this isn’t for me, but for my best friend Ariel Belnap. Ariel is 22, we live in Mesa, Arizona. She is an amazing girl. She has the most beautiful voice. She’s been singing ever since she was little. She has a strong love/passion for music, and she is very talented. She has been in school choirs jr high through high school. She also loves acting. She’s has taken drama classes in jr high. She can be a real drama queen at times, but that’s what makes her Ariel. She has preformed at open mics, and preformed some musical numbers for church, we even go kareoke sometimes. She has recorded in the studio with one of our friends who’s working on putting out an album. A lot of our friends are amazing musicians, & she learns a little bit from them, but being on the show, she can learn more. She’s down to earth & the truest of friends. She’s outgoing, loving, kind, friendly, and not to mention drop dead goregous. She does have will power, and will go the distance if pushed. She only sings, but wants to learn how to play piano & guitar. Ariel has been my best friend for a long time now. I don’t know if she’d ever do something like this on her own. She has wanted to try out for American Idol, or America’s got Talent, or shows that would helper her in a signing career, but hasn’t had the chance to do so yet. She does get a little stage fright, so hopefully, if she got on the show, you could help her over come her stage fright. So, I’m writing this hoping she could get her chance. Ariel has potential, I can see it & I know if she got on the show she wouldn’t be a disappointment to anyone. She DOES have what it takes to be a star. She’s been ill for a long time and says that hearing me sing is one of her few joys in life. Laurie CordellI am typing on behalf of my 31 year old son. You can see him on utube. Lee Seaman has such a great voice and is so handsome…but…I think he can’t organize his talent. I think he is ADHD. I know I shouldn’t be telling this to the puplic, he would be livid if he knew. I know thousands of talented singers suffer from it and am wondering if he had “some help” he could soar and sing like he is supposed. That is his calling.So if you can help?
