Sarafina CarterTHE MILLION SECOND QUIZ!!I should ABSOLUTELY be consider to participate on your show! I am a widowed mother of 3 (amazingly awesome) children. I live in a small community with not much opportunity. We live from pay check to pay check, and never hardly get the chance to live town let alone have the extra funds to go on a vacation of ANY kind. Going to the movies is a treat for us. So to be given the chance to win ANY amount of extra cash would mean A LOT to my children as well as to myself. I would invest the money in my children’s futures. I pray each day for something wonderful to happen to us, and you could give us that wonderful something!!! So remember my name; SARAFINA CARTER!!!! And please contact me to participate, you won’t be sorry!!!! 🙂SARAFINA CARTER!!!!! 0 Reply August 13, 2013

LadonnaOur family could truly use the winnings, however I would enjoy the challenge,, I live in what most would call an urban community, or (ghetto).. people from my area feel they are never given a chance, and therefore optimisim is rare….Although I would like to continue my education, certain financial aspects are holding me back…My three yr old daughter watches me daily, and learns from me….I tried enrolling her in a modelling agency, paid most of the fee, then lost job, house, car, even did overnight in st. joseph county…Basically begging for a head start.. 0 Reply August 12, 2013

Ken RudermanI know what I like and I like what I know. Probably one of the many quotes that defines me.Born in 1964 (Queens, NY) I grew up watching game shows. From the days of faking being sick in grade school so I could be engulfed in almost four straight hours of game shows until the Soap Opera Circuit” circuit began – and I magically started feeling better and wanted to go out and play. Benchmark iconic shows such as Jokers Wild, Pyramid and TPIR filled my mornings with excitement and intrigue. In the 80’s a 30-minutes flash of night time juice came alive at 730 with Wheel of Fortune. As someone who follows the goals he sets out to achieve, I set out to become a contestant on WOF and in 1986 I was on the nighttime edition, winning in dramatic fashion. The bonus round clip was page 1 of the WOF website for over five years. One of my associates put VCR tape on YouTube and it has over 30,000 hits (search “Rudy Wheel” : 3-parts)I was 22 years old then : now at 49 with two kids and a beloved 6-year old loyal Cockapoo, my goal is continue my passion for being center stage again – and without a doubt, rising to the occasion like I did in 1986.Ken Ruderman Executive Vice President and Co-Branch Manager Studley, Inc. Bob PrehallI believe I would be a good contestant for this and other shows. I am a 70 YO man that has a very full and interesting life, and it seems to get more interesting every day. I am not wealthy, but am above the poverty level, so am not complaining…lol. I am very intelligent, as evidenced by my lapsed Mensa membership (didn’t have the money to pay the dues) I have NEVER lost a game of trivial pursuit, even on Mensa game night, so compete fairly well. I was one of a group of four that built and operated one of the premier fishing lodges in the world in the Alaskan wilderness, The Alagnak Lodge. I did hold the IGFA world record for Chinook Salmon on 4kg test line (42+ lbs) Perhaps my greatest accomplishment, depending on who you ask, was being able to convince my beautiful 27 YO wife to marry me when I was 69 (I wasn’t rich then either…) Until the devastating economic turndown that so drastically affected the real estate market, I was fairly successful, both as a real estate developer and as a Broker…I do see both of those fields returning to at least a semblance of their former glory, and am still very active in both fields and will hopefully be able to actually show a profit in the near future. 0 Reply August 5, 2013

Matt ConlonLets face it… in this day and age, society is is getting just plain stupid. There’s no common sense or book smarts since people are more intrigued by things such as Honey Boo Boo and Duck Dynasty where dumb ignorance is looked at as a cash card. A big thing college taught me and should teach everyone is that intelligence is needed in this world. Not only is it an integral part of our evolution but the ability to learn for ourseles from our experiences is what keeps the drive of society moving forward. As I’ve stated, this is overlooked but it needs to be brought back into the spotlight. Now I don’t see myself as some sort of genius I’ve studied a broad range of subjects and have probed deeper into history books which many others would simply overlook. There is absolutly no doubt in my mind that not only I would be able to make an impact in this competition but I would be able to take the title. If you want to have some fun and test my abilities, I’m waiting for your call. 0 Reply August 4, 2013

Gary ShapiroI’m a self employed, highly intelligent and imaginative person. I love game shows and reality shows are also an “addiction” of mine! Even though I’m very intelligent and educated, my income potential is very limited due to the size and demographics of the town where I reside. Combine the desire for winning some funds with my love of game shows, reality shows, interest in current events, politics, news etc., then I consider myself to be the perfect candidate for The Million Dollar Quiz. I sincerely hope to get a chance to be involved in this exciting new TV game/reality show. 0 Reply August 1, 2013

don fentonI want to be a contestant on million second quiz because I live in a box under a bridge. I find newspaper everyday to use for a blanket and toilet paper. I usually read the newspapers I find because I don’t have much else to do. During the cold winter months, I hang out at the library to stay warm and read books.I got so educated while sleeping under bridges and taking refuge in libraries, I could probably win on Jeopardy. I use the USA Today as a mattress or blanket everyday – but I always read it with my morning coffee. I usually use the local paper for toilet paper. But I read it before I wipe with it. I read at least one book a day in the library, and sometimes 3 or 4 books. 0 Reply July 22, 2013

JocelynHi- my name is Jocelyn and I believe that I should be considered to be on the show, The Million Second Quiz, because since I was little I have watch most every game show along with played most brain stretching games and have a passion for learning. I will be a college student this fall and would love the chance to prove that at any age people can go up against much wiser and more experienced adults. I’m very competitive and never give up. Though there is a chance of winning money I’m in it to see how far I can push myself. This is the right type of competition for me and if I did win the money would go towards furthering my education and knowledge so that I can make a difference in the world, but being in this competition alone gives the chance at making a difference in my own life. Thank you so much for the consideration. 0 Reply July 19, 2013
Nirav ShahI would love to be on this game show, because I’m witty, extremely fast on my feet, and am a “wanna-be-know-it-all” type. And I’ve always wanted to be on a game show! 🙂Thanks. 0 Reply July 18, 2013

AngelI’d like to think of myself as a”inspired innovator”. Motivated to find new solutions to challenging problems. You can say I’m Very curious, with a Capital V. Absolutely open-minded and even, “unconventional” at times. I’d try anything twice if it didn’t kill me the first time. Very competitive, free-spirited and adventurous. Sometimes I get on peoples nerves because I want to analyze EVERYTHING,just to understand, and influence other people. Not such a good trait but I have to admit. I enjoy playing with other peoples ideas and especially the bantering. I use my quick wit to keep the upper hand with other people, often cheerfully poking fun at their habits and unusual or odd behavior. Even still, while I enjoy challenging others, in the end, I am usually happy to live and let live. I’m Rarely judgmental (with a Capital R), but I have little patience for people who can’t keep up. Other then that, ask anyone who knows me. Sweetest girl they know.. I’d give you the shirt off my back(If you could fit it and I had something to gain when I needed you).. I can’t think of any quiz related experiences in my life.. I’m a free-spirit. I go where the wind takes me. I strategize in my day to day by following a strict schedule 5 days a week. On the weekends anything goes. Me and my boyfriend have two dogs, Cupcake and Brownie… Our lives pretty much revolve around the dogs 24/7. They are our kids. I wake up 2 hours early before work, every morning, just to walk and feed them before I go to work. When I get home from work at 4:30, I walk them again. When my boyfriend gets home he does the dishes so I can cook. Then we do it all over again. Only challenge for me is keeping up with the Joneses. My boyfriend keeps me up on all the new technology. I like using old resources. I’m way more hands-on then the new age. I know I know I’m only 28, but my momma always says, “There is No age on resourcefulness”. And she could’ve been more on point with me. We would travel the world if we won 0 Reply July 18, 2013

If I get the chance to be on this game show, I would make the best of the opportunity. EdIt’s destiny and I deserve a break…..why you ask? Destiny because my Dad was the grand champion of Concentration back in 1960 when the show was hosted by Hugh Downs (remember that dude from 20/20!!!). So there is the classic family backstory. Why do I deserve to be on??? Back when Who Wants to Be a Millioinaire was in it’s Regis prime-time glory days I qualified as an alternate. I got flown up to NYC, stayed in a hotel across from the Met and Central Park (during the marathon of all days!!!)….all I needed was one person not to show, one person to get sick, one person to bail….it never happened. To make it worse, I sat backstage as the fast finger round was taped, and everyone missed the fast finger question, so it had to be re-taped. Regis goes backstage for the crew to prep, and of course, I knew the fast finger answer and I let Regis know….his reply…’Even the Alternates knew the answer!!!” (In that Regis voice). We’ve been friends ever since :).On top of all that, I’m normal looking, smart, 40 years old but younger looking, witty, parent of cute twin boys, I play trivia at the most ecclectic and awesome brewery on the East Coast and I need the cash (law school loans ain’t cheap) !! 0 Reply July 10, 2013
Travis JohnsonThis game looks great, and I’d love to be a part of it. I’m an IT manager, a real estate agent and a food blogger. I’ve been a trivia nut since I was a small boy. I’ve got a gaggle of little boys under the age of 7 who need clothes, lots of food and college funds, and a wife who definitely needs a good vacation, so the prize money would we well spent.Contact me when you’re ready to cast the show. Derrick BelangerI am 19 years old and live in Dalton GA with my older brother, younger sister, and my mom and dad. I’d love to win some money to help my dad, who has an enlarged heart and type1 diabetes, as well as my sister, who was also born with type 1 diabetes. I love reality television (and television in general), and combining that with games, social media, and competition is phenomenal. My dream would be to participate on a game show like this. My favorite game shows thus far are Survivor, Big Brother and The Voice. My greatest asset would be my brain, because I constantly think about strategies to games I’ve played before, such as Pokémon and YuGiOh. I love to learn and spend any spare time on the computer, reading the latest headlines, scientific findings, psychology, and tv programs. I believe my brain can dominate this challenge and crush the competition. 0 Reply July 8, 2013

Arlene McGrottyI am your gal for the following reasons: 1 – At 69 years of age, I want to let my generation know that taking risks, nonstop learning and enthusiasm is the key to keeping young 2 – I have been on a major TV quiz show – albeit many years ago 3 – I was almost killed by an elephant in Kenya, held a baby tiglon and wore a Super Bowl Ring (for 5 minutes!) 4 – I am a trivia nut!! Thanks for considering me!! 0 Reply July 3, 2013

Dave StarkiI would love to part of this TV experiience and take home all the cash !!! I have been told by family & friends that I know something (quite a bit in many cases) on just about every subject or topic. When people ask me “how do you know all that”, I reply “i don’t know, I just do”. I love trivia & being able to showcase my knowledge base. When I get into the hourglass, i will have the other people begging to get out !! 0 Reply July 2, 2013
DARNELL DALEYInstead of telling you why I should be a good fit ill answer the question with a question why not. I love game shows and I know ill win all I need is a chance. 0 Reply July 2, 2013
Kim FindlayTwo phrases used to describe me by others – “passionate” and “force of nature”. The challenge would be great fun . . .but the payoff would be providing substantial funds to our local organization that gives hands-on learning opportunities to more than 30,000 school children and 150,000 visitors every year . . . and is privately funded by donations and admissions. I am the CEO of this 145-year-old museum and science center. On behalf of our life-long learners, our donors and staff, I would relish the chance to compete 0 Reply July 1, 2013
