Sarah NordwallHello I’m Sarah, I am 20 years old, I am from Northfield, MN but currently living in St Cloud, MN. I am 5’2″, I do wear glasses, and have always had the love and dedication to act since I was 7 years old. I haven’t been in a lot of school productions, because I was always put down a lot. I have and still do, audition for every play that I can, but never get a part. I was just recently told that I have no acting talent by a professor of mine, all because I can’t land a role. But the thing is, that professor is wrong. I went to Summer Camp for theatre 3 summers in a row, I was in two plays for school, and I had the opportunity to audition for an Academy that is based out of Los Angeles. I got accepted and graduated from International Performing Arts Academy (IPAA), there I was told there that I have the most dedication that they have seen in a while, as well as being told that I have potential. I may be bigger and heavier than a lot of girls my age, but I don’t let that get in the way of my dream of acting. Being able to be an extra in The Hunger Games – Mockingjay would be an amazing opportunity, to be able to turn the negative comments from my professor into a learning experience, as well as to help show that I will not let people come between me and my dreams and tear it down. I want to be able to have them say, I was wrong about what I said. I REALLY want to prove them wrong. Everyone that knows me, knows that I have the talent to act and really enjoy doing it. My goal in life, is to start acting in small roles and eventually make my way into a bigger role. Being casted in Mockingjay would be a dream come true.
