I didn’t search for it, I was that little girl that dreamed of finding her prince charming and living happily ever after. But it turned out life/god had a different plan for me and blessed me with this amazing voice. 0 Reply September 13, 2012

I believe an opportunity like this is the exposure im in desperate need of cause im a team player with the skills needed but resources limited. Yikes And The Bobby O Band / aka The YikesWe are an all pro band – yeah old – but new as a group. Its hard to make it even with a Grammy winner from Ambrosia and “The Best Drummer in the world” as voted by his peers at the Carmine Appice “Drum Off” the last four years in a row. We’ve played a few local LA shows and it costs to much to do it. We’re looking to be an opening act We feel if we can just show what we’ve got in front of a great band, we will attack a good following. We hope you will consider us.Thanks, Yikes 0 Reply September 9, 2012

I have played with many bands and currently am the lead singer to the band Midnight Flyer in Peoria, IL. I know how to work a crowd and really rock out! Country music is my passion and I had been pursuing my career my whole life. The chance to open up for a major country act is just the shot I need to show America what I’ve got! 0 Reply September 8, 2012
Kathleen KennedyLooking for an artist for the younger set? Reed Ferguson is a 15 year old singer/songwriter/guitarists from Atlanta who is already playing coast to coast honing her craft at festivals, resorts and theme parks. It’s rare to find a young performer like Reed who truely speaks to her generation. A self professed shy, awkward girl, Reed’s music urges her fans to “be shy, be awkward, but whatever you are…BE YOURSELF!” Reed also writes about all the relationship drama kids encounter….from the “mean girls” and obnoxious guys to forgiveness. But like every kid, she dreams about her future as heard in songs like “Fairytale.” Reed is a rare combination of brains, creativity, raw talent, beauty and humility. She is truly a breath of fresh air! 0 Reply September 7, 2012

Jau'QueenHey, Jau’Queen here Ive been writing since i was 8yrs old, and been loving music since i can remember. Growing up i was to shy to put my talents infront of people so when i did sing i sung with my eyes closed. Once 2007 hit i was no longer scared to do what i do infront of peope. I write sing and rap all my own songs and my mom was MY main believer and supporter. August of 2009 hit and my grandma died August 1st, my mom died August 24th, and my step dad died a week later. I was so lost and terrified. I am the youngest out of 6 kids, the only girl, and the mother of a 7 year old son. My brothers are way older than me so when our mom died it was like who wants to or shall i say is able to take in a grown 22 year old kid and her baby. I say 22 year old kid because i was sheltered by my mom my whole life and i didnt know the real world at all until i lost her then the real world smacked me in my face at 100mph. Being the only girl, and the youngest girl with a 7yr old son to 5 older somebodies as brothers is nothing but pressure. How can my mom be proud of me when everyone except her youngest and only daughter still cant call herself a somebody? How can my son grow up knowing to follow his dreams and not the streets period let alone Chicago’s streets. I have the world on my shoulders because some way some how i have to take the constant struggle off my family’s back. My dad is 61 yrs old and hes still doing hard manual labor work just to make sure me and my son is covered. CAN U IMAGINE THE THOUGHTS THAT RUN THROUGH MY HEAD EVERYDAY?!? Look im hungry, im ambitous, im determined, im all of THEE above and i need this opportunity to teach my son that average and struggle is NOT the way of life. I have to do something about what this thing called life is showing my son, been having my 61 yr old dad so frustrated and worn out about, and all this weight on my shoulders of being incredibly tense because of the constant struggle. God gave me this talent for a reason… will you give me this chance? ~Jau’Queen~ 0 Reply September 6, 2012

We started working together on music once we realized we both had a deep love for music about 2 years ago.We have many goals and dreams. One of our biggest goals would be to win grammies, and establish ourselves as successful musicians and artists We believe all we may need is the right exposure and and hopefully Opening Act can provide that. Thanks,AY 0 Reply September 6, 2012

Hogan ToddNot many artist today can say they have been picked up by radio as an independent artist. But even less can say they have three different songs on three different radio formats. Hogan has broken through on Country, Rock, and the Pop charts. Hogan Todd has an infectious acoustic groove that can be compared to that of the Dave Matthews Band, Lifehouse, and John Mayer. Hogan has had his songs on many popular television shows which include the WB’s “One Tree Hill”, Fox’s “The O.C.” “Simple Life”, MTV’s “Parental Control”, “MTV Music Awards”, ABC Family Show “Wild Fire”, “Vampire Bats”, Speed Channels “Build or Bust: The theme song”, CBS “Big Brother 10”, NBC “My Name is Earl”, TLC’s “L.A. SJ3Hey whats up! We are SJ3 and were an up and coming teen boy band. We have been together for four years and were just looking for a chance to show people what we have to give. The 3 of us have been best friends ever since we were kids and started this group because we all had an undying love for music. We honestly want to pursue a career in music not for money but for music its self. We feel as though the money will come later. We can’t see our selves doing anything else but our group and we would appreciated if we had this big opportunity. To see our music just go to youtube and search SJ3. Recently I recorded with Haunted by Heros (a rock band) who will be performing live on NBC at 8 PM this Thursday (September 6, 2012). Most of my gigs are at the hottest nightclubs in San Francisco, including The Cellar. I recently released my first music video titled, “Tangled”. I am currently working on new singles for the coming year. I would like to be a part of Opening Act because I live and breath music. Because I am an independent artist that writes all her own songs and have progressed continuously over the years. Because I have a dream and will never fail to shoot as high as I can in the Music Business. I am talented and I have potential…all I want is to be given more of an opportunity to share that. 🙂L.A. I have also recently in the last year and a half started doing my own solo work and opening for acts such as Ne-yo, Fabolous, Miguel, Baby Bash, Jeremih, just recently finished a Texas Tour and Single with Fat Joe. I still have not released the single but I think this show would be a perfect opportunity for me to show all the talent that the people that booked me for this show and Fat Joe saw in me to do a feature with an unknown for free! Stevie SpeerHi =) My name is Stevie Speer, I’ve been up and down with my music ever since I decided to be a singer =) I use to be a bassist for a band call social discrimination haha but our first show didn’t go well haha it was so bad me and my band actually took back doors and hallways to leave so no one would see us. But when i try to ignore the worst of something one thing i always did was sing, so while we were walking through the halls I started singing, and my band all just listened and when I stopped my lead singer told me that I was a great singer and told me I should start singing rather than be a bassist. So I went solo and wrote a few songs and my first concert had over 400 people =) and I was supposed to cover a song by Nevershoutnever, but I had a soar throat and I didn’t want to drop out, so I decided to sing one of my songs called “Plz Love Me Too” and everyone loved it =) and from that moment I knew music was my calling =) that was almost 3 years ago and because of that moment my life has only been getting better and better because of my music =) That’s why I would love to have this opportunity Thank you =) 0 Reply September 4, 2012

Tiffanie GalanI will soon be turning 18 and since I was 4 I’ve had a huge passion for music. I love to sing whenever I get the chance. My first solo performance was when I was 11 years old and the music stopped on me early on in the song, however, I continued to sing acapella. The standing ovation I received after I finished made me feel like I was born to perform and from then on I knew it was what I had to persue. My last performance was at the Insititute for Student Achievement Dinner Gala in Manhattan where I sang At Last by Etta James. I would love to be considered for Opening Act because my biggest dream is to become a successful singer and performer and I would work extremely hard to be the best I could be. 0 Reply September 4, 2012

We our driven and we really had to perfect our craft. We are recently crowned the best musical group locally and is constantly told we should be with the stars or be more widely heard. We perform locally at “The Sherman Theater” and occasionally at school events. We have won a singles deal contest not too long ago with producer “Keith Clizark” and was sent beats to write a song to record. My music is a mixture of new mainstream music and indie music, with a hint of an old school sound! I’ve written all my own songs and the people that hear them are surprised and really like them. Tayi should be considered because i love music and is not afraid to show what i got and i can rock the stage. I can sing and rap and i write my own songs and raps. I can have everybody rocking with me, and i love to express myself through my music and songs. i should be considered because i can do my best and if my best isnt good enough oh well because there will always be haters no matter what and i could care less what they think of me and how i sing and rap. 0 Reply August 27, 2012

Mary CannisThere is a new wave. It has a name. It is Daniel Cannis. Listen, and above the twitter, you will hear a voice that embraces as much as it entertains.Singing and performing comes as naturally to Daniel Cannis as walking and breathing. In the world of popular music, Daniel Cannis has come along with a new genre and style that can be described as epic; putting a Mediterranean sound into the everyday modern song. This Mediterranean flavoured music with its modern pop instrumentation is infused with the beautiful words and phrases of the Greek language. Daniel uses his voice to give life to original songs, written by him self and the extraordinary, award winning and multi-million selling maestro, John Capek. Daniel’s music will take you on a journey that will take you through a myriad of emotions and feelings; making you laugh, cry, remembering to be thankful.Thank you Mr. Nigel Lythgoe. Hope to hear from you!! Mary Cannis 0 Reply August 26, 2012
The SagesWe are a teenage rock band that plays a unique blend of old school rock n roll mixed with some newer favorites including 90’s grunge and more current eclectic choices. We began three years ago at the age of 11 and have been one of the hardest working and performing teen bands in the area. 0 Reply August 26, 2012

Chardenai Vang aka Lil NaiMusic is everything to me. pretty cliche but its true. if i’m mad, i listen to music and it will take me away from the madness. when i’m sad, i listen to music and it may not take me away from the sadness but it helps me find what i’m actually sad about. and when i’m happy and i listen to music i feel on top of the world. the music i listen to varies from my mood at that moment. just like anybody else right? well that’s the same way i make my music. i make my music the way i listen to it. Music has always been there for me. when i was at my lowest point of my life the song “Live Your Life” with Rihanna and T.I. came on and it changed me. I dont have the best quality but if i could just get some recognition and help i can be IT. my lyrics come from inside. when my heart beats, i take it as music inside of me. every beat of my heart is a beat to a song. my life is an album. i have a lot more to improve but who doesnt? i have nothing else that i would rather do. so im not going to college. i’m going to move out and try to get my music out. that’s my plan. and i will do that every day of my life until i get it. and even then, i will not stop. and if i could get this? it was just be a step closer =)-Lil Nai 0 Reply August 24, 2012

Micah SmallBecause I’ve been back in school trying to make a difference in medicine, my wife lost her job 4 months ago, she has a great degree but can’t seem to find work and we can’t catch a break. This came up when it seemed that we would never have a shot at anything… My wife and kids need support that I hope to get by being a good ole boy with my down to earth music. I don’t care about me as long as I can feed them! 0 Reply August 23, 2012
Tim De QuilettesG’day,My name is Tim and I hail from Australia but live permanantly here in the USA. I have been encapsulated in music my entire life, having been raised by two very musically talented parents(one since passed) I had the opportunity at a very early age to perform at music festivals, clubs and various shows. I have since nurtured my God given talents to a level that I feel can be enjoyed by many more, because as an entertainer I need to be stirring all the emotions I can generate from the audiences to share the joy of music as it is one of the very few things in life that will never let you down. I would love to have the opportunity to express my passion for performing being part of something special. Best of luck to everyone else who is trying for this fantastic opportunity.Cheer’sTim 0 Reply August 23, 2012

Breanna SlaterI truly have an extraordinary voice, but you don’t have to believe me, you can hear me for your self by going to my original video on youtube performed with my band, the Slater House Band… the video is “How Handsome Dan Became a Zombie”. Not only is the video and song a blast, but you can hear that I have a strong voice and a good range. No autocorrect, and my part was done in one take. The song was recorded in our own studio and the video shot over 3 days. We play locally in the Macon Georgia area and recently were invited to play at Bragg Jam, and not to toot my own horn, but we rocked the #@%# out of the place, showing that as a group we have a great stage presence and can really get a crowd going. Why not take a chance on a Southern girl from middle Georgia, where a lot of great music and musicians have come from. Thanks. 0 Reply August 20, 2012
