Davionne LeeI would love to be in the show. Through all the things I’ve been through, music has been there. I may not have been one who was born with a voice but in time I’ve learned to work with the voice I was given. Music is my release and I want to share that with the world. Even if I didn’t win I’d love to share my passion with the world. I just want people to see my passion. 0 Reply July 25, 2012

Christina RichardsHello ly name is Christina Richards and I am 26 years old. I am a full time mother of a handsome 1 year old name Jonathan. I watch Duets and fell in love with it immediately. I’ve always been a singer. I sang in my church choir, as well as another choir for a non profit organization called Teens In Motion. Not only can I sing but I can dance, and rap. Music is my everything. When I’m down I listen to it, when I’m happy I listen to it. When I’m cleaning up my house I put on my ipod and sing and dance around the house. If given this opportunity I would be so grateful. Thanks for listening and have a nice day. 0 Reply July 24, 2012
Jennifer BonheurHi! My name is Jennifer. I am 21 years old. I think I should be considered a duet candidate because I have a lovely voice from what people have told me. I have been surrounded by music my whole life. I grew up in church and sang in my church choir, was even in a chorus in my elementary, middle, & high school my father plays the guitar & piano and we’re all musical my sisters played the violin my brother & I played the piano. This would be a great opportunity for me to do something so extreme and be recognized and not waste my talent. I love to sing music is a part of me. I believe that your time will not be wasted and you will enjoy the sound of my voice. Thank you. 0 Reply July 24, 2012

Jon DeSannoHi there, my name is Jon. I’m 21 years old, from Long Island New York.If there was one thing in my life I was unsure of, it was place in the world. Questions arose… leaving me concerned and confused. What road do I want to travel on? What opportunities will I find along the way? Will I be happy in my choosing? These were the questions that haunted me. I always wanted to pursue something, not only I’d enjoy, but others could enjoy as well. One thing I noted, was how much fun I’d see people having, performing on shows like “American Idol” and “X-Factor” as well as others. How passionate they were about music and all of its elements. More than anything was the natural feeling I’d get, watching these individuals perform. Seeing their desire for it, and their personal determination, incited my own drive.I too, not long after, began delving into music… more so than ever before. I’d belt out band favorites like Def Leppard’s “Pour some sugar on me” and Journey’s “Don’t stop believing”. Songs I used to like, I now loved. Songs I now loved I began to appreciate, for all their worth. That right there was the turning lane, and the green arrow was signaling me to go!With musical endeavors starting to take form, I solidified some of my uncertain structure, from the ground up! Examples being vocal lessons, (still currently taking) to better improve my vocal ability and longevity. To begin to harness my full potential. To finally pursue a wanted direction. To work my hardest to achieve my goal… becoming a musical artist.Years of watching shows that showcase different individuals and their own, stylized vocal ability, succeeding at what they loved showed me something very important. When you find something you like stick to it. When you stick to it, you will succeed. And right now, I’m telling you I can and will succeed! If now, there is one thing in my life I am sure of… it is my desire… my drive… and my excitement of music, and why I enjoy it, that brings me here. I say to you, give me a shot, at least just a shot to prove my talent. I have so much passion and energy to share. I want to show I can take challenging songs, stylize and improve them like many before me.Vocalists around the world, have inspired me to do so. Particularly on this panel, Kelly. She is phenomenal… and an opportunity with her, on this show would be life changing for me. I can do this! Let me show you!Thank you and ROCK ON! 0 Reply July 24, 2012
Meghan CannonHello my name is Meg Cannon. I am eighteen years old, from Oceanport in Monmouth County, New Jersey. I have always had a passion for music, and I am ready to make my dream become a reality. Not only do I want to share my own songs with the world, I also want my lyrics to give both girls and boys something to turn to when they feel hurt or alone. I have been writing songs since I was ten years old, as well as singing and playing guitar. I also danced for 16 years, which has taught me a great deal about performing. I believe that my music is real, and I NEVER hold back when I perform my songs. I put my entire heart and soul into my music, and I have been told that my stage presence puts the audience in somewhat of a trance because I want them to not only hear my words but feel them as well. Words cannot even describe how much I want a chance to be a part of this amazing experience because music is and always will be my life, and I want it to be a part of the worlds as well.To listen to a few covers as well as several originals, one of which being a song I had written with my friend that is a great rapper as well as writer 0 Reply July 24, 2012

Joe AugustA successful duet singing needs to understand so much more than just nailing a melody, and feeling the lyrics. You have to also know HARMONIES and BLENDING and should be able to do that WITHOUT THINKING. That’s ME!. While I front my own band and have released a solo album recently, I have a true passion for COLLABORATION and harmony. You’ve got a great show here with Duets! I would love to be a part of it – to share my passion with the you and to use my gift to GIVE BACK to my family, friends… and my fans. Please let me impress you. 0 Reply July 23, 2012

Amy GarrettAs I sit here, trying to come up with clever witticisms to portray how gargantuan my personality is, and how talented I am (not to mention totally good looking) to somehow make myself stand out in your eyes so that you will invite me to audition for you, I realize that the best way is to show you, through youtubeBAM!!!! A bit about myself: I have a BS in Physiology, I love science, I’m a (pretentious) foodie, I LOVE water polo (played in HS and college), and I play tenor sax, guitar, and many other instruments….as in I was (am) a huge band nerd. I love film and television more than is appropriate for most people, and spend a lot of time watching it…obsessively, and sometimes compulsively…and sometimes both. I’m an ENFP. I have a filthy mouth** and have been known to be unspeakably crass, with a tendency to overshare. I often debate with myself whether I’m a large child, or just a small adult. I have a weird obsession with Disneyland. I’m kind of a jack of all trades which is cool because I’m good at A LOT of stuff, but it’s also my biggest downfall because I have no direction…I’m Colombian and I have freckles….and I’m a sucker for freckles…I hate lasagna and when people call me adorable. It’s patronizing.*may or may not be an accurate assessment… **in the figurative sense…I actually have immaculate oral hygiene…I’ll tone this down if you want, ABC. I’m totally jonesing fto sing for a large audience, and have been since I was a wee child. I do take this seriously, and I would be forever grateful for the opportunity!!!! 0 Reply July 21, 2012

Molly Jae ChaseMy name is Molly Jae and Kelly clarkson is the reason I do what I do.I am 24 years old and I have been singing since I can remember. It wasn’t until I watched her win American idol that I realized my dream. Ever since I spend all of my time studying different types of music… Singing, harmonizing, drumming on my steering wheel.. You name it. It would be an honor to be considered for duets because I love what the show has to offer more than any other vocal reality show. It’s real and raw and it creates beautiful opportunities for folks who might not get the chance otherwise. I have a mid to low range and love to experiment and play with harmony. It is a little more on the husky soulful side but i can alter it to the style im in. I think Kelly and I would have a really amazing blend and be able to play off each other well. John legend also. Thank you for your time- I look forward to seeing what happens! 0 Reply July 20, 2012

Raymond EdwardsI’m a Renaissance artist. However, a chance to sing on Duets would be a chance to showcase my singing ability. I could be an interesting contribution to the show, because I have been in the entertainment world in various capacities that could add to that X-factor. Besides I’m a natural package, with not that much confidence in myself. This is simply because I haven’t performed on this level or had anything close to this type of exposure. I most probably would feel comfortable singing with Kelly Clarkson or Jennifer Nettles. Hopefully, I’ll be hearing from you guys, as I’m also considering one other talent show. 0 Reply July 19, 2012

My eyes are hazel, they change from green to brown. I don’t like my toes. But, most importantly, I think you should consider me because it has been a dream of mine since I was very little to be an actress and/or singer. Richard AmissI would be entirely filled with gratitude if I had the chance to sing on the show. I am 48 and I have singing since October of 2011 because I just felt like singing. My favorite music to sing is Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr, Dean Martin and Nat King Cole. I also sing songs by others like Seal, Peter Gabriel and Elton John. I have going to open mic nights in my town and people have made comments like, “fantastic, you blew us away, these songs were made for you and this guy can sing acapella like nothing else. Now I have been doing open mic nights since December 2012 singing at least 20 times and want to take it to the next step. This singing is part of a dream I have to help abused and neglected children by doing more for them and to make people happy. I have been a psychotherapist for 13 years so I feel I can connect with people well. I am a baritone and so was Frank Sinatra so this allows me to sing the rat pack music very well. Please give me a chance and I can’t wait to meet you. Blessing, Richard 0 Reply July 15, 2012

Kara SidebothamHello, I would love to be on Duets because I love to sing and know that I have the ability to be able to sing and put on a wonderful show! All of the judges are wonderful and have lots of great advice but, my ultimate favorite superstar to work with would be Jennifer Nettles. I have seen her performing live on this show and in her amazing band Sugarland and I absolutely love her voice and think she has such wonderful stage presence! I believe she is a wonderfully talented lady and I would love this opportunity to work with her and show what I am capable of. I have been singing since I was little starting with my choir at church. I have sung in elementary school, middle, school, and was in freshman chorus, advanced chorus sophomore year, and A Cappella choir junior at senior year at my high school. As well as , performing in shows with my community theater in 4th, 5th, and 6th grade and being in Summit Choral Society as a child. I have taken voice lessons throughout high school and one semester in college. I was in ETC show choir 9 and 10th grade. I sing currently at church , in my college choir, and I do solos too. I have also done musicals in high school and right now am doing faith based musical productions that tell a modern twist on a bible story. I have done those for the past 3 years and have been in the chorus. The next show, this fall I am going to have a solo . I would also love to work with Kelly Clarkson because she is also one of my favorite superstars I love her music and have watched her grow since she won American Idol. 0 Reply July 13, 2012
Claire KatholABC , I don’t think you’re ready for me! See, totally off the cuff. That’s why I’d be perfect for this show. Oh, and I have an AMAZING voice. I’m usually more modest, but when competing against millions, you have to give out the facts! WHICH ARE:I’m funny. Really funny. Just ask me, I’ll tell ya.I LOVE being the center of attention.I’m a natural born performer.IE: When I was a little girl, I use to dress up in my one piece that had the middle cut out and a tutu attached (can you say 80s Baby? Yeah!), drag out the vacuum, which also doubled as my microphone, and hold my parents’ guests hostage while I sang Taylor Dayne’s “Tell It to My Heart”, complete with a dance routine, of course.I have never not won a karaoke contest. And by win, I’m talking first place. Oh yeah.People love watching me sing, they love hearing me sing, they just love me singing, really.I’m not bad to look at. Actually, I’m quite good to look at (sorry modesty, but I am! what?! )And possibly THE SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT REASON WHY I SHOULD BE THE NEXT DUET STAR:I will OUTSHINE, OUT SING, and UP STAGE anyone you throw at me. I mean anyone. Unless it’s Mariah Carey. She’s got a whistle register. A whistle register!?! Come on, that’s like throwing a baby seal at a sushi enthusiast. Not cool.So anyways, ABC, now you’ve got the facts. But, if you are still undecided for whatever reason, you could always just ask me to sing of course!Thank you for your c,Claire Kathol 0 Reply July 13, 2012
Vincenza MontesI’m a Singer/Songwriter that would love to Audition for Duets. I used to be in a Group and loved how we could just harmonize at the drop of a dime. This opportunity would be ideal. 0 Reply July 13, 2012
Donna DossHello!I would love to see Ryan Cordero and Kevin Jacobs have an opportunity to audition or “Duets.” Though I know that they would need to audition separately, I wanted to give you a taste as these two sing very well as duets with others too. They are versatile, so I think their voice would blend well with whomever you choose should they be selected. Why “Duets?” Because, from what I have seen, Duets has nothing but highly gifted singing performers on their show and the judges are honest, fair, and very encouraging to every single contestant. Even toward the ones that are sent home. Each one is treated with the utmost respect, and I LOVE that! Kudos!!!!! … and these two diligent, highly gifted performers truly deserve to a shot at being on this show.Below is a brief description of how I met and learn to respect and love these guys at true performing artist’s.In 2012, I had the pleasure of meeting these two singers (Ryan Cordero and Kevin Jacobs) when I was working as a Dance Coach for a National Talent Showcase company. I heard these two voices separately in the hallway as they were rehearsing during one of our coaching weekends. In my mind, I could hear their voices complimented one another (though they both sounded great separately as well), so I went to each separately and asked them to see if they could put something together though they’ve never worked together before. They thought I was trippin’ because I wouldn’t leave them alone about. Finally, they caved. This was the result (written and composed by them … they are now RTA talents as well and really NEED to be on Duets!… I certainly hope you agree). If they need to audition without an agency representing them in order to qualify, as their agent, I will gladly bow out so they can have their shot!Thank you for taking the time to read this.Sincerely,Donna Doss 0 Reply July 13, 2012

MarquitaI can’t hold a note to save my life! But my mom and my little sister sing beautifully. I guess it skipped a generation. 🙂 They are both very vocally talented but with two different styles. My mother has a powerful soulful voice that makes you want to shout and get up and dance. My sister has this sweet romantic voice that just makes you want to fall in love with whoever’s eyes you’re staring into at that moment. And both have the ability to brings tears of joy or pain to your eyes with the emotion that they can evoke into a song. I don’t know where to get more information about auditions for season 2 of Duets but i figured here would be a good start. Any information would be greatly appreciated on what the next step should be. Thanks for reading!!! 0 Reply July 12, 2012
raisa holleyI am 24 years old. I have been singing since I was 4. When I was 13 I was on Apollo kids. I have dreamed of the chance to sing with John Legend. My style is that soulful sound. I have won a number of talent shows over the years. I had my chance in high school bit I wanted to finish. But since losing my godfather I have pursued this hard. He was one of my biggest supporters. And always said I was born to share my gift. Once I saw this show I knew this was a great opportunity for me and I would be honored to be choosen. 0 Reply July 12, 2012

Ceterio$1990I believe in my heart and soul that I have talented if given the opportunity to prove myself. I sing, write songs, beats, and dance it’s all I think about doing. I would be so grateful if you would give me the opportunity to try out for the show. My grandmother purchased a camera for me so I could video myself and put the video on Youtube with hopes of getting discovered. Right! I video myself on the bed, and front of the bedroom door, the hallway of my home, and anywhere else but the bath room, and kitchen. 0 Reply July 11, 2012

CassandraI honestly don’t know what i I can say here that has not already been said. Im sure everyone here is a talented singer and deserves a chance at this. That being said, I believe you should disregard all previous and future comments because I would very much love a chance to do more than sing in my shower and at karaoke nights at the bar. I would relish the opportunity to have my voice heard and be able to perfrom with some of the best singers out there. I am 22, and I have passion and confidence out the wazzoo and you would seriously regret it if you do not give me this opportunity and you miss out on even just knowing me, because although im a pretty decent singer, im a pretty awesome person too lol 🙂 0 Reply July 11, 2012
JennyHey! I saw an advertisement for this on TV so I thought I’d go ahead and post a comment. I’m 13 years old, have brunette hair and brown eyes, and I’m 5 1/2 feet tall. I love to sing and act so if you’re looking for a duet partner, I’ll give it a shot. Thank you so much! Thanks Again, Jenny Marie H. 0 Reply July 10, 2012
ItalyI am a single parent of twenty years. After divorce I put my life on hold to raise my children. No long sad story of what I want to be or how much I love to sing. I simply want a chance to impact the lives of others with what I know I can do…………. sing! not necessarily to even intertain but for them to encounter an experience for and with their selves. If by chance this comment gets the attention of those that are decision makers, what I do know is that this opportunity alone will impact everyone that reads it. So really these words that are stated are already the music that is filling the ears of others. Music is ones translation of what he or she hears and in turns gives it back to the world…………….. If I never hear from you, I have shared a song with you today, the music you hear is up to you! Hope you enjoyed it ” Smile”!! 0 Reply July 10, 2012
Colleen Sigurdson for Daisy DixonHi, Just found this web page!! I am writing this request for an audition for my daughter Daisy who is away at a summer Glee Camp for the week at SMUS in Victoria, British Columbia. Daisy is almost 15 and has been singing since she could speak and has always considered herself a “singer”. Her very unique sound always entralls those who listen to her. She has been taking voice lessons for 2 years now and has performed solos and duets for small audiences (500 people or so). She has little fear of performing. She would love to have the opportunity to expand her experience. 0 Reply July 10, 2012

Olivia ballHi, my name is Olivia Ball. I am nine years old. I have been singing for about 2 years. I took interest in singing when I was 7 years old. I think I have got what it takes to be on Duets. I want to be a singer when I grow up. I do write my own songs; sometimes I even just start singing and then add more lyrics and then I have a song. I can hit about any note you give me. I want to be on Kelly clarkson’s team. 0 Reply July 9, 2012
