Nancy gI don’t know how to define normal. I do know I am a 43 yo mom of 2 . I’m a registered nurse and play poker on the side because I love to study people (plus the extra moolah is nice). I believe am very qualified for a slot in this show, because my family and friends think am too nice and its always ok if i dont get a good deed back from those same people. They feel am wired for always saying people have reason for action the way they do and it ok, there is no need to be mad or feel bad. They also think am weired for always asking people on the bus or subway if they need a swipe (but its just because i have been there before) On another note, i always get ideas of a new movie each time i go to the movies and comes back to google and see if there is any idea out there like mine. Another wired thing is making a song out of a word or phrase. I go extra mile for family and friends, like some times a i called out of work to see my BF niece who is sick from New York to San fransico. One time i called out of work the whole week to stay with my godson because his mum was a medical student then and had to write an exam. I went to Africa last year just because my friend bought her wedding gown from the states and she had no one to bring it for so i took the risk. I sleep on hospital floors with sick friends when they have no beside them. I promise to cut my hair off ( i mean skin cut) if i ever get to do my birthday in St Jude’s hospital or any cancer hospital just to make the children special. Leaving my career of 13 yrs was difficult but necessary to maintain my sanity but seeing how the decision was made over a bowl of ceral (literally), I really didn’t have time to make a plan. So, it’s been a struggle as I’m still unemployed and currently unable to find work, but I have no regrets! I hated my job! Shermaine NeddHello….Hello! I would absolutely luv to be part of this. I am 47 (48) this year; born in Guyana SA; left as a toddler” grew up on the UK; adulhood (all of it) here. I’ve been together withy common-law-husband 20+ years; although we have known each other longer. We have a 15 year old I am a techy manager by day; amateur athlete (fallen off the wagon) by night. I home cool meals at least 5 days a week; order-in 1 day a week; pickup at a restaurant at the remaining day. This indulges me of walking into a strange place and holding conversation. I’m an outgoing single mom who loves making people laugh especially at my expense. I never liked being like everyone and watching and listening to my idles and icons and mentors I realized the people who step out their comfort zone and stop acting like everyone and challenge themselves are the ones that experience life to the fullest. I am finishing up a degree in communications and broadcasting and then I will be moving back to Las Vegas.I’ve worked random jobs such as being a Ski Instructor to a lifeguard at a water park. Through these experiences I have seen it all from the drunk and loud to the boring and extreme. I am a very outgoing person and I am always making new friends where ever I go. I am a 2x cancer survivor, a college student in the social work program, married 3 times, and mom to 4 adult children (2steps, 2bios). I opted for a prophylactic bilateral mastectomy in 2005 when it wasnt the trendy thing to do and am so happy it is becoming “trendy” and women are feeling powerful. My youngest daughter is gay and engaged to a lovely woman. We are planning their commitment ceremony now and hope it will be a “real marriage” by the state by the time it happens. I am a baby boomer and baby of the family. My first career was with Walt Disney World and now I want to be in a career that allows me to directly give back to the community. I hold a facilitator certification in Louise Hay’s Love Yourself, Heal Your Life course and believe in the mind, body, spirit connection. As many others my age, my life has been affected by drugs and alcohol, losing a brother and playing a role in helping my stepson to recovery., who is now an addictions counselor. I have had a great deal of life experiences that many would say have been negative, but I know they are just my experiences, not good or bad.
