Casting Call for New Project – Los Angeles, CA

An upcoming social media campaign is looking for real people.  This is a casting call for people local to Los Angeles.  Powertale Productions is seeking on-camera testimonials from African Americans of all ages about their personal experiences with racial profiling, police brutality, and race-related injustices for the first installment of their social media impact campaign. The team wants you to share your story. It can make a huge difference in the life of others!

About the Company

PowerTale Productions is a Los Angeles-based, minority-owned, and full service production company with producers and creative directors from the likes of Variety, Univision Network, and NBCUniversal.

What They Are Looking For

“Where are We?” delves into some of the most pressing issues affecting America today. The campaign will examine topics including immigration, gun control and LGBT rights among others. The campaign was created to draw viewers and participants onto an active and solutions-based platform to share and engage in a movement designed to promote discussions around the reality of social injustices and the power we have to eradicate them when we join hands in the name of equality.

“Where are We?” will be captured with state of the art 4K technology and its content will be distributed through the campaign’s official Facebook and Twitter social media channels. Once each installment ends, the overall content will be reformatted into a short Documentary Series that will be distributed through Amazon Prime and Vimeo On Demand.

WHERE: Testimonials will be taped in a professional location in Los Feliz, CA. Participants must live in the greater Los Angeles area and provide their own transportation.

WHEN: December 16th 2017. We will provide the location information once we are contacted.

Served military from 2010-2015 as an Security Forces member (Mp, Policeman) and was Medically discharged. I think I would be a perfect fit for your role because I expressed extreme profiling growing up in the south in particularly Florida. I personally been a victim to police violence also, I think With my personal travels in life Having Served in the military and Been affected and a victim of police brutality and which the current event that happen in Florida.
