Leanto JonesGreetings from Maryland! My name is Leanto Jones. I’m 48 years old, originally from Baltimore, Maryland, now residing in Edgewood, Maryland; Harford County. When people ask me why I like to sing, or why I should be considered for a show of this magnitude, I simply tell them this. Many people, like myself, have a gift to have people forget about their troubles for a while; a power that allows people to go to a place that makes them feel good. It takes you to a time long past, or prepares you for a bright future; whether an hour from now, or even years from now, this power that we as singers have, allows us to communicate good, positive messages that’s for the good of mankind, and for our very selves. I made a choice to convey that communication, and 25 years later, I’m glad I made that choice. I’ve been performing musical theater productions for that length of time, as well as singing ‘The Star Spangled Banner” for a minor league baseball team, and in church, where it all started. I’m classically trained in voice, and I play piano. I currently have two videos on YouTube that has gotten rave reviews, but most importantly, I believe in the gift that God alone has given me, as well as God the Gift-Giver! It’s my belief that He has destined me to do great things with this gift. I also believe in the purpose for using it. All of these reasons are why I strongly feel that I should be considered for your program. It’s my fervent hope that all I’ve said has moved you to send a swift and affirmative reply, as I will continue to watch your great show. Thanks for your attention, and may God bless you for your interest! 0 Reply July 19, 2013

I sing in the church choir, I have also been in singing in Chorus at schools all throughout grade school. I should be considered because I would be given the opportunity to become financially stabled. Roderick CudjoHello. My name is Roderick. I have been singing since I was 8 years old. I have a one of a kind voice. I was a drug addict for 30 years. I have been clean for 14 years. Now I am ready to be the star that I always meant to be. Thank you. 0 Reply July 19, 2013
Lauren BI am 23 years old. I have two boys ages 5 and 3 who are my entire world. I’ve been singing since I was about 8 and I am very good at it but, never have been confident enough to go public with it. My mom always fusses at me and says, “You have such an amazing voice and all you do is sing in the car!” She’s right though.. and nothing would make her happier if I finally just did it and went out there! I would love to know that my kids have a bright future set up for them. I would love to help my mom so she doesn’t have to work two jobs just to still live paycheck to paycheck. It’s time and I’m ready. I’m ready to do this for me, for my mom, and for my boys. It would be an example for them. To show them to go after their dreams…and the best way to start is to go after mine. 0 Reply July 19, 2013
Jamieson OrangeHi, I’m Jamieson and I’m 21yrs old. The reason why I should be considered for “The Winner Is…” because right now I’m living with my parents and we’re living in a hotel at the moment, My mother is the only one working out of all of us at the moment. I LOVE to sing, it’s what gets me through my days sometimes and the genre of music I sing is a mix between RnB/Gospel/Jazz. If I won the Million Dollars, I’d use it to help me and my parents get a place and for us to be stable. 0 Reply July 19, 2013
Daikwe FranklinHi. My name is Daikwe. You’re probably wondering how to pronounce my name. Think Dayquil without the L. I love to sing, in the shower, in the car, for my kids, in front of the mirror, down hallways. Pretty much everywhere. But I’ve always been afraid to sing in in front of a crowd. I’ve been told that I have a good voice and I’m ready to test that theory. You could say I’m a Jane of all trades. I’m 30yrs old correction officer/ army reservist/ amateur writer/ mother of 2, with dreams of grandeur. My greatest wish is to take care of my family. My over worked mother has been caring for my nephews the last 8yrs. I want her to retire and finally go back to school like she was doing before she had to take of her grandchildren. I want to be able to put my daughter, niece, and nephews thru college. I want them to have all the opportunities that my mother and I gave up for them. I want so badly for them to be able to do what they love, instead of what they must. $1,000,000 would afford for all of these things to happen. If I happen to get signed in the process, that’s a plus. 0 Reply July 19, 2013
Ally EikmannHi I’m Ally, and I’m 15 years old from Missouri. Singing is basically my life. I do it everywhere, in the car, shower, in public, just about everywhere. I have a passion and I’ve tried out for America’s Got Talent before, but I’m looking for a competition for all singers. I’m eager to perform, and have had a YouTube channel with singing videos of myself for a few years, and have had comments telling me I should try out for SOMETHING! I would appreciate even a small opportunity to show my talent, and my family is also hurting for money. If I won even a little, my family would be so much better off if I did this for them. I’m looking to better myself, and every performance is an opportunity to grow and learn and become better. Thanks!(: 0 Reply July 19, 2013
joni voylesHi! I’ve been singing for 25 years. I’m a Zonian (born and raised in the Panama, Canal Zone) and motherof a beautiful High school graduate. It’s now me time! I would love to be on your show to make some money to help my daughter with college and to do a little traveling with my fiancé! I sing in English and Spanish and would bring a bit of diversity to your show. Please check me out on YouTube as I just performed on the longest showing Latin show Sabado Gigante in the “chakal” segment. Thank you! Have a great day!! I hope to hear from you soon!! 0 Reply July 18, 2013
Kelly ZollerI would love, love, L0VE to have this opportunity! My name is Kelly Zoller and I’m 36 years old. I have been singing since I could talk – my sister and I used to put on concerts and would sing ALL the time. I had solos in every choral show in school and performed lead roles in all the musicals up through college and also in community theater. I’ve also sang in quite a few friends’ weddings. I put music on hold to raise my 2 amazing boys and, now that they’re older, I’m ready to sing to the nation! Singing is my passion and the only thing that truly makes me feel ALIVE!! I have a very powerful voice and love to belt out big songs – that’s when I’m in my element 🙂 I look forward to hearing back from you! Thanks for providing this opportunity!! 0 Reply July 18, 2013
Arnita McClintonHello, My name is Arnita and I am a single mom with six children. I have always wanted to sing and make music a apart of my life. However, I had my first child when I was 14 years old by 20 year old. Every since then my life has had mishap after the other. I love to sing Whitney Houston songs and am very good at it. I am also in recovery and have struggled with that all my life. I have never been able to give my kids all they deserved because of my addiction, but now that I have a grasp on it I feel I owe it to them to prove that Mom is more than a drug addict. I would make happy and I don’t care about the money. I just want to give them something and someone to be proud of for once in their life. Please allow me to prove myself on your show, and I promise you won’t be disappointed. Who knows what door this open for my family. 0 Reply July 18, 2013

David CathersMy name is David Cathers. I’m 17 (18 in Aug) and I love to sing. I’ve been singing since I was able to, but I didn’t know I was good until others started telling me I was at around the age of 8 or 9. I was told that I should try out for American Idol, X Factor, America’s Got Talent, etc. I figured that I probably shouldn’t do that just for the chance of fame and riches. It’s not really my thing. However being on a show like this could help out my family or myself for college, as it would be playing for money. I love to sing and would love to try to earn some cash. 0 Reply July 18, 2013
Andrea PerryHello! My name is Andrea and I’m 23 years old. I’ve always known I was a singer but recently came into preforming on stage and in competitions. My family is always encouraging me to go out and sing. I have always been into music my favorite being Jazz but I love all sorts. Although I’ve only been singing for a few years I am a self taught musician. I taught myself to play the piano and guitar. My only wish in life is to be a singer and nothing more but not for the fame or the fortune which would be nice 😉 but for the simple fact that I am good enough for people to enjoy what I do best. I really do hope to have the chance to show a lot of people what I can really do and make my family proud. 0 Reply July 18, 2013

If I were to win any form of money, it would go to help my mother get out of debt, and my sister for college. I would also give back to charity especially organizations that support women and children in distress, as I have come from a childhood that involved drugs, violence, and abandonment. Please consider me for this show. This would change me and family’s life!! 0 Reply July 18, 2013

Milan DuguilI am a 15 year old Southern Californa girl. I attend John Burroughs Highschool, a part of the show choir program wich is beyond amazing and had amazing records! Its been the best in the Nation for many many years! Family says since I could even make sounds, I would hum and feel the music. Every since I could talk, i started singing right away! As a 3 year d at my preschool promotion, I even said to the mic, that I wanted to be a singer. I havent stopped since the day I could start. Its a passion of mine and I already have experience singimg infront of a hige crowd! Freshman year of Highshool, I had a solo in our bug Pop Show. Even before that, I was a part of the show choir at David Starr Jordan Middle School, wich also has a great record ! Ranked best in California ! I had little individual acts back then also. My family isnt so good on momey either. It would be a miracle if I could compete and win some. It would help me and my family a whole lot! I also have to pay thousands to be apart of my choir program and its hard to raise it on our own, its almost impossible. This show would be the perfect thing to an easier life! I’d like to join right away:) 0 Reply July 12, 2013
Joanna BoyceHi. A good friend of mine is a fan of the show and said I seriously need to audition for it. The producers and millions of viewers need to hear my world class, professional quality voice, experience my dynamic stage presence, and see that, as a 41-year-old divorced mother of three, it’s never too late to pursue your dreams. My story will warm the hearts of many. I’ve overcome homelessness, poverty, and a debilitating illness by staying positive and hopeful that my efforts would produce good results. I teach voice lessons and music theory to children every week to make ends meet, but there’s so much more I could be doing with my talent! For years I’ve sung at weddings, parties, community events, local musical theater, restaurants, karaoke bars, etc. I’ve won a few contests, and was even paid a few times. My biggest gigs were opening for Air Supply at Gadsden Alabama’s Riverfest in 2005 and performing my original theme song for the same city with the local symphony orchestra in 2006. Music industry professionals that I’ve met along the way have always been impressed with my talent, pitch, tone, interpretation, etc., but neither they nor I have ever had the money to invest in my career as a singer/songwriter.Now is the time for me to share my story and my voice with the world, to entertain and encourage people with my gift. I have a lot to offer, and your show is the perfect opportunity for me to shine. I thank you in advance for your consideration. 0 Reply July 12, 2013
ErinHiya – my name is Erin. What I wouldn’t give to have the opportunity to compete on this show. About 10 years ago when all of the singing shows really took off, my parents urged me to audition. I had made all of the arrangements to finally get out there and do what I love when my dad died of a massive heart attack at age 49. To make matters worse, just 8 months later, my mom too died of a massive heart attack at age 49. I come from a family of 7 sisters and brothers.. our lives were pretty shattered. I didn’t end up trying out.. Make a long story short. I’m a singer, I love to entertain and I would love to have the opportunity to make my parents proud, even if it means from heaven. Please give me a shot.. It would mean a great deal to me and I promise.. I won’t disappoint!Peace ~ Erin 0 Reply July 12, 2013

I have my own YouTube channel under my moms name Kathy Greene. Hope you consider. 0 Reply July 12, 2013
Ayonna greenHi I’m Ayonna I am 13 years old. I started singing when I was 8 and ever since then I give nobody a brake. When something bad happens to me I don’t cry I sing .i have wrote over 10 songs. I’m in both of my school choirs and I sing the highest. My life revolves around music there is not a chance that I’m not singing in some random persons face lol . Me being on this show would change my school life, my home life ,and my life period. Even if I don’t take the money and I’m sent home It will still be the greatest moment of my life Period. 0 Reply July 12, 2013
Jorrel JavierMy name is jorrel Javier and I am 17 years old. I’ve been singing since I can remember and I feel like I have what it takes to go all the way. I have been told all my life that I was just not “the right look” to make it. I’m a little bit on the heavy side but I believe that my talent will speak for itself. I’m also an immigrant from the Philippines and so I would love to be able to help y parents out financially by gviving them the one thing they can’t provide abundantly–money. I hope that you will consider my comment. Thank you. 0 Reply July 12, 2013

Dennis DellHello,I have been singing since the age of 11 and never stopped while working a regular gig. I fronted a group for a number of years and arranged harmony parts for them as well. At one point Altlantic Records had an interest in signing but Uncle Sam made that short lived due to being drafted. Spent 10 months in Vietnam, went right back into singing when I returned and still enjoy it just as much as ever. I have a unique way of changing my vocal tone and range to simulate the original artists from the 40’s to the present. I would like the opportunity to reach out to many people who love what I do since being on the social networks such as facebook, twitter, etc. With so much good talent out there, I think I could fit in. I appear to look alot younger than my age at 64, and sing in all ranges as well. To me it would be worth a try more for the curiosity of the peoples reaction when I change my style of singing in every song. 0 Reply July 11, 2013
CasiblancaI am a songwriter/singer/poet who has written over 50 songs and 300 poems. A friend that sat in my living room for a listen to some of my music said after two hours of original music that I was “the best artist he never heard”. I have been singing all my life, which is a considerable number of years, in spite of the fact that I have a severe hearing loss in both ears. I have raised my boys, one of which is a classical musician, and am now ready to do my own music. I hope you will give me an opportunity to share what I love to do. 0 Reply July 11, 2013

Dylann EngleMy name’s Dylann, I’m 11 years old, but don’t let the name fool you. I’m a girl. I’m from Possum Kingdom Lake, TX. I love to sing so much, my mom and I sell necklaces and I sing to everyone who buys them (and others) just for practice. So, I’m not shy. I’ve been told I’m amazing, and have sang in front of thousands of people before. If you select me to be on the show, you won’t be disappointed. 😀 0 Reply July 11, 2013

Sean ChiaHello my name is Sean Chia (Age 17)……Chia, yes like the Chia pet. (“Chi-chi-chi-chia”) I am used to being made fun of for such a name. In addition, a series of recent deaths in my family and financial struggles placed a large burden of stress upon my family. Singing helped to relieve some of the stress and allowed me to escape some of the teasing I experienced at school. Needless to say, I am quite overweight, but I do not allow that to get in my way of expressing my life through singing. By being part of The Winner Is… I hope to represent a crowd of singers that usually is underestimated and hidden in the darkness of society. The million dollar prize would help to transform my family’s financial situation and permit me to give back to my community. 0 Reply July 11, 2013

Ashley OlsonMy name is Ashley. I’m 27. Me and my fiancé have a beautiful 1 year old daughter, but between us we have 7 children all together. We love our family but with recent medical problems in our family and being laid off, we are struggling. Who isn’t lol. I’ve always known I’m a good singer, but my family and friends insist I’m great and could make it a career. I’m sure I could sing 6 songs to win a million dollars for my family. It would be the chance of a lifetime and ill blow you away. Thank you! 0 Reply July 11, 2013
Sean ChiaHello my name is Sean Chia (age 17) …yes like the “Chia Pet”. Chi-chi-chi-chia. I get it a lot and it has burdened me ever since I was old enough to comprehend teasing. Another “positive side” to my adolescene is my weight. Both of these things interfered with my confidence and gave my classmates substance to their making fun of me. The only thing that would help me escape the world of being jeered at was singing. Singing in the shower, the street, at the store, between classes, at recesses, in music class.. It all was my personal escape. Being part of this show would help me to prove myself to America and put myself out there, without being made fun of or discouraged. In addition, the prize would help me give back to my community and those who helped me forget about the teases. I would help my parents pay off my schooling and the bills to which I have added. I believe I would add some sassy flavor to The Winner Is and represent a crowd in today’s society that is often underestimated and left in the darkness. 0 Reply July 11, 2013

NikkiI have been singing since I was 3 years old. I am only 12 years old now but I have graced the stage of many places, including some Las Vegas Casinos. I love to sing everything from broadway, classic rock, R&B, to blues. Songs are a story acted out on a stage and I love to bring them to life! I would love to show NBC and their viewing audience what I can do! 0 Reply July 11, 2013

Patrick GaddisI’m not leaving a comment for myself, but for my friend Courtney Elizabeth Harper. She is a wonderful singer. Last year she tried out for American Idol, but unfourtunatley didn’t get in. She played Sandy in our school production of Grease, and received a standing ovation for her singing. So that’s why I think my friend Courtney should be on The Winner Is. Her email is courtney.e.harper.12@facebook.com 0 Reply July 10, 2013
