HaleyTo anyone leaving comments here: 1) this page references the remake being done by Universal Studios, not Disney. Universal’s looking to make a film more true to the original story than the Disney version. That said, the mermaid’s name likely won’t be Ariel, likely won’t have red hair, etc. Many things were changed from the original story to the Disney version, as the original story was far too grim for a Disney adaptation. Read the original plot here:2) I hope you all continue to pursue acting and I wish you all very well in that endeavor. However, castingcallhub won’t put out audition information for principal roles (like Ariel) on their website (unless it’s a nationwide open call audition like what Disney did with Moana). You may be able to find work as an extra via this website once they start filming, but casting directors cast actors through talent agents. You have to have an agent to get access to these bigger auditions, and for big Hollywood auditions like these, that usually also means you have to be in a big market city like Los Angeles, New York City, Sydney (Australia), London (UK), etc. While the artistic side of acting comes first and foremost, there’s also a whole business side to acting that you have to know about and educate yourself on for anyone (and I mean anyone in the industry… talent agents, casting directors, directors/producers, other actors…) to take you seriously. I have done things like modeling and photo shoots (more when I was 16 and 17) and I have been in some school plays but I am confident that my acting abilities would be excellent, and I am willing to pay to take my own acting classes if that were needed.I am completely willing to help show my dedication however needed (i.e. travelling, headshots, videos, diets/exercise changes, etc).
