Acting has always been my passion ever since I was a little boy. My favorite movie was The Matrix. I use to come home from school everyday saying the lines of NEO because I wanted to become him someday. That “special one” The one who had potential. The one who could make a difference. When I was in high school I didn’t know what I wanted to be. Everyone was going to be ASTRONAUTS, FIREFIGHTERS, DOCTORS, etc. and me……..no clue. I had an idea but I didn’t think it was possible because I never had formal training. But I was watching tv one day about this guy who was talking about acting and he said “If you cant see yourself doing ANYTHING else and you have a deep passion for it……do it” That’s what I did. As soon as I graduated from high school I auditioned at AMTC (Actors Models Talent for Christ) just to see if I could act or not. I got accepted but didn’t have the money to go to their school. I then auditioned for VCU school of Arts…again to see if I could act……out of 200 people they accepted 35 and I was one of those 35! after that I auditioned for a movie that’s coming out this year. I received the script one day before the audition date and I got in!. The reason why Im telling you this is because I want to make my family proud and ACT. That’s what I do. There are people like me everywhere just waiting for an opportunity like this. I feel like a tiny speck on the map in Virginia where no one can see me. I want to influence people like me and everyone else that they don’t have to be afraid for what they want in life, if they want to DO IT, then DO It, go for it. I want to be NEO to them. I have the potential of being something great like Denzel, Will Smith, Don Cheedle, etc. Can you help me out CW? If this show is anything like the hunger games then you will have to have a variety of people, they cant all be survival masters or else it would just be like any other survival show on television. your going to want a few people who have no idea what they’re doing out there because it makes for good entertainment. this is what is going to make your show stand out from others. it can show how people with no survival training handle different situations when they are stuck in the wilderness for a month. I think i would be a good contender because have very limited knowledge about survival so the cameras would get to see what i can do to overcome that. AndrewSome of these people on here are absurd and apparently didn’t read the article because it’s not a movie they are applying for. It’s a reality show. That being said I would love to be on this reality show. I grew up around hunting and fishing, consider myself a minimalist and feel like I would do well surviving in the wilderness. I am a 6’3 Caucasian with an athletic build at 215lbs age 26. I have a very likable personality but have no problem telling someone they are being dumb when they are. I have some martial arts skills as well. I don’t know what the extent of capturing your opponents is but I’m sure this would come in useful if needed (or if someone is just being dumb).That being said, I am interested in being in this reality TV show if possible. Chance ShankHi I’m Chance Shank. I’m fourteen years old In my hometown or I guess home village I learned all sorts of things. I know where to find food in the wilderness. Surviving off the land is something I have done before. I’m a good role model I’ve maintained a 4.0 in my grades this whole year and that wasn’t even any effort. In my class I’m by far the best runner and have lifted my fair share of big rocks. [My mom has a thing for big rocks in the front yard.] I’m cool under pressure. I’ve won first place in an acting contest and have been on the stage for the spelling bee ever since 4th grade. In my years of competing I got 4th in 6th grade and just this year I got third place. Right now I attend a special school designed for the outdoors. In my three quarters of enrollment we have had a field trip for one weekend out in the middle of nowhere with only a couple cabins to stay in. Did I mention it was in the dead of winter. Even then I prevailed and made a shelter that would keep anyone sufficiently warm for the night. There we learned to make fire with nothing but a stick and some string. I also learned how to trap animals. Just to cover everything possible brown eyes, tan skin, dark brown hair, very tall, I have no alterations to my body.
