Christina MitrakosHi there, My name is Christina I’m 14 years old but I’ll be 15 next month and I’m from Montreal. I took an interest in the arts when I was about 11 years old and I officially started acting in September, 2012 at Montreal School of Performing Arts. I trained for about 6 months, and I recently became a memeber on a couple of casting agencies, Montreal Casting and Casting Quarters, which are located in my area. I might consider getting an agent pretty soon if nothing works out. I’ve pretty much been searching online myself for casting calls, agencies etc…but it’s been really hard since I don’t have an agent.. But hopefully, a miracle happens and I get considered for a role in Mockingjay whether it’s as an extra, background performer, lead, or whatever you guys need! It’ll be a huge honor to be part of this and to work with Jennifer and the rest of the cast. I’m a big fan of The Hunger Games and I’ve read some of the books in school so I am aware of the story :p I’ve been told in private by my acting teacher that I do a really good job in class, and that really gave me the confidence I need to move forward in what I love doing the most. I do really well in school, I’m a 9th grade student and my favorite classes are English and Math. Sometimes I watch these shows on tv about the lives of celebrities, how they made it big, and I wonder to myself “Will I ever be on that show one day?” I’m not forcing you to take me in, I just want to put myself out there and see what kind of surprises come my way! Life is full of surprises and I only wish that an opportunity like this will be one of them. I get really emmotional when I deeply think this through because I want this so bad you would never imagine and the fact that I know that there will be times where people get rejected.
