Zuath CortesWhen you live a life as simple as me, you try to seek adventure and new experiences. In all honesty, I am not an extrovert and find it difficult to even give a presentation in front of my class. It’s not my comfort zone. However, when it comes to acting, I give it my all. I don’t know how I do it. I know it seems odd that I can’t talk in front of my fellow classmates, but I can act. Yeah, I get nervous, but as soon as I step out on that stage all my fear goes away. How is that possible? I always thought that the reason is because I don’t play myself but rather another person with emotions, feelings, and thoughts. People don’t see me as Zuath anymore, they see me as Lilly, Jane, or Grace. I can express my feelings through another persons’ perspective. It’s important that as an actor, you find some sort of connection with your character or otherwise your performance won’t be great. Even if your character is the complete opposite of you, one must learn to eventually develop a relationship. It’s pretty amazing. You get come out of your shell and embrace new feelings. ChristopherWhy I am excited and would like to be cast in the movie Avengers 2?Been a Marvel Universe fan since childhood. Know ALL the characters and familiar with their powers and personalities. Avengers is the greatest superhero move ever made. The Hulk and performance of Banner (Mark Ruffalo) was an incredible and refreshing reward in the film. I am an Ex-athlete (I played football 15 years and baseball). In great shape currently, working out and training. Boxing and weights. Acting & performance- I have been on TV “on camera” and “behind camera” for over 10 years. Also been on stage. No problem getting into character. I have a striking presence reminiscent of a soldier, hero or villain.I understand the role for Baron Wolfgang von Strucker is still open and they are looking for someone in their mid 40’s with an athletic build. I believe I can fit this profile and role. I can speak a good german accent, am very intimidating when need to be and have been a fan of WW2 movies – such films as Inglorious bastards and Schindlers list.On a side note – I have also met and hung out with one of the top actors in this film who is best friends with a great childhood friend of mine. So it would be an honor to work with him and make things extremely exciting and comfortable at the same time. My love for dancing, singing, and acting has continued on into my adulthood and I would love to get the chance to express this desire by working in Avengers. I’ve always loved superheros as a kid, but I was always more into DC Comics’s than Marvel’s. However, Marvel superheroes started to really catch my eye as I watched the Captain America, Thor, and, of course, the Iron Man films.
