I know the area very well and take pride in my community and as such became a Volunteer Firefighter a few years back. I would love nothing more than to play some part in Amazing Spider-Man 2 no matter what the task or how insignificant it may be. I am a Card Carrying Webhead (life-long Spidey fan) and have collected issues 1-700 of The Amazing Spider-Man comic and pickup every issue of Superior Spider-Man as it is released. I have no professional acting credentials but I have donned that red and blue spandex suit on multiple occasions such as New York Comic Con, Spider-Man game releases, confusing pedestrians and making kids smile, etc. I personally identified with Peter Parker when I was younger and always reminded myself that with great power comes great responsibility. There is a special place in my heart for Spider-Man and my personality was shaped by his heroic essence. Danielle BlessingerWhen I told my boys that they would be filming the new Spiderman movie almost in our backyard they were excited beyond my wildest dreams. When I told them that they would need extra people to be in the movie, they had a grin from ear to ear. Well let me tell you a little bit about each of them. Dylan is seven and he did some acting when he was younger, he was in the movie I Hate Valentine’s Day. He is warm and a loving child who takes great pride in being respectful of all he comes in contact with. When he is not in school, he is on the local soccer and baseball teams. Dylan loves anything that has to do with airpanes and the military. Now Jason he is my five year old that sometimes people think he is older because he is so tall. He is my outgoing, wants to be friends with everyone child. Jason plays soccer on the local town team and loves anything that has to do with a video games and electronic gadgets. CJRHi, Im in my late 30’s (6’2 1/2″ 230lbs) and live in NYC. I grew up with Spider-Man as a boy/teen and collected every Spider-Man book that was published by Marvel in the 1980’s. I have over 1500 comics. I’ve since graduated from HS and University with a Bachelor of Science. I dont collect the books anymore (I try to have an adult life -lol) but I remember how reading Spider-Man always helped me cope with being an only child, shyness, my loniliness in grade school and understanding the importance of helping a friend in HS with drugs and alcohol addiction. This may sound “Hallmarkish” but its true. I’ve never acted a day in my life but I am a true blue NYer, still a HUGE Spider-Man fan and VERY eager to at least be a walk-on in this film. I also met a costume designer for the first Spider-Man film at a NYC bar called Blind Tiger in 2010 who said I would make a perfect walk on. She gave my number to a casting call agent but I don’t believe I heard back from anyone at that time. I can be available 24/7 (with at least a day’s notice) and can be at any location in NYC within 1 1/2 hours (via subway). Anyway this is worth another shot. I’m in the process of writing a Comedy/Drama play and hoping one day to get it filmed. The play is based on where I haven’t seen my friends in 10 years, i play the lead charcter they call me saying their in the neighborhood, and we become known all over Brooklyn. It starts off Comedy, but than towards the end it’s Drama where there’s a betrayal between my friend and I. Acting is something I have a huge passion for. Maybe spiderman as hes swinging by would be curious to see himself on a pachinko being played by me. Im in a powerchair so he might pay a visit. I hear filming will be and our apt building is very close. Maybe spidey could swing by and wonder ” whats that noise and he could see me playing my spiderman pachinko.
