Since I was little I’ve always loved Disney, and sometimes I would put on performances where my friends and I re-enact scenes from our favorite shows. I do some martial arts, and have played both the violin and piano and have been singing for about 7-10 years each. I am also an all-A’s honors student who speaks both Chinese and English, and a poet in my free time. Since it aired, I’ve loved the sensibility of Rocky, the carelessness of Cece, and the bubbliness and fun of the entire crew. It would be amazing to start off my career acting on Disney channel – Shake It Up especially – because it would be such a pleasure act on the channel I’ve always dreamed of being on. The fact that two of my role models are stars on the show is just a bonus. I haven’t had much experience in dancing, but I welcome challenges anytime, and I’d love to learn to dance like Bella and Zendaya. I follow directions and catch on quickly, and I’m not afraid to look weird and funny in front of a crowd. I can be sassy, sweet, mean, innocent – anything you ask. I have blue eyes and a sandy blonde hair color. Acting has been a passion of mine since I got the lead role in a high school play my freshman year. I have always wanted to do this and I cannot picture myself doing anything else for a living. I am currently a bartender and a volunteer firefighter in my hometown. Being a firefighter has given me the quality of knowing how to work as a team to accomplish things for a greater good. I love firefighting with all of my heart; it fills me with a feeling of accomplishment when I save somebody’s life. I have been a firefighter for over a year now and a bartender for almost a year. Bar tending has given me people skills so I don’t always take things to heart but I know how to handle criticism. Also I am a good multitasker since I have also been juggling college with my job along with firefighting. To be considered for this job would be a wonderful accomplishment for me. I would give this my entire heart because I know it would be difficult to not only be selected for an audition but to actually get the part.
