Muscular body type from being an athlete in many sports and martial arts training in the gym. I live in Ontario Canada, very close to Toronto, which is where Shadowhunters does some of their filming. I have experience in SOC acting as well as background acting and modeling. Given the nature of the show and how physically demanding it looks, from the fight scenes and the training scenes, I think my athletic and martial arts background would allow me to fit in naturally with flow of the show. About my story: I never wanted to become an actress but this world caught me completely. I´ve looked up every fan page or video (almost) as probably as the most part of the saga fans. She is definitely one of my favourite book characters ever, and not just because of the dynamical way she is written on a page, but just by the simple but relatable fact that she is Welsh. You don’t hear often that two major characters in a bestselling book series are Welsh, and the pride I felt from being able to read the Welsh language in a New York bestsellers is unimaginable, and I would just love to be able to show my language and the true Welshiness of Cecily on screen. I speak fluent Welsh (and English obviously) and have the usual South Wales accent. I read the series when I was thirteen, later the same year I watched the movie, and I’m now a committed fan to the show. The book series is beautifully written and was a never ending entertainment. I can also relate on a personal level to Clary and the relationship she later has with Jonathan(Sebastian). In honesty, it took me a few episodes to accept the differences from the series to the show, but I adjusted and I do not regret that choice. Kym McCannThe television series is actually more engaging than the movie. Often times when a book is adapted onto the screen, whether it be for television or cinema, the real essence of the written gets watered down or over hyped. Chris CallI am a 14 year old 5′ 6 girl with brown hair and brown eyes. I’ve dreamed of acting ever since I could remember, and have participated in performances at my school and would love to audition for a TV show (particularly this one as I love both the books and the show), if only to experience auditioning. The problem is as I am young and live in Iowa, there isn’t a way for me to audition, unless auditions come near me or I can send a video in. Joe-Patrick KaadiI have read the whole Shadowhunters series and I’ve been a huge fan of the novels ever since they came out. When I found out about the TV show I was ecstatic. I couldn’t believe it, especially since the movie didn’t properly portray all the details viewers needed to know. I would really love to be part of this production since I am familiar with the story line and have wanted to act since I was a younger boy. I love how the story line has its own twist to it and , on watching the series so far and also the behind the scenes, shadowhunters has inspired me. I am only 12 but i feel that if i can help or even ACT (wow my dreams are really big) in ANY way possible then i would jump at the chance. Although all of this, i do live in England Devon.
