Jessie TownsendMy mom does not get enough laughter in her life. Being a news broadcaster requires too much seriousness. She worries absolutely way too much as well. Growing up it was always “Did you unplug the coffee pot?”, “Did you turn off the dryer?”, “Make sure (this or that) is unplugged so you don’t start a fire”. I think it was hard on her having to take care of 3 kids essentially by herself as my dad was not really involved in the process. She hasn’t had much time for excitement.
