Throughout her life, music has been her passion. From 5th grade through today Stephanie has been learning and practicing Piano Theory. Piano Theory helped Stephanie write music, as well as learn how to play music using both chord progressions and notations. Stephanie was quickly writing song after song, and by fall 2010 recorded and released her first album of ten original songs titled “Heartbroken Joker.” Some were about love, others about poverty, and some about the crazy jokes and memories she and her friends had made. Jordan Jacob PattersonHi, I’m Gabriella Jordan’s sister. I’m a year younger than him. He’s 19, 6’2, he has expensive taste in clothing, we knew he had a voice at the age 10. He started off singing and dancing exactly like Elvis, in 5th grade they did a performance, he was the main guy, as Elvis and they had all the pink ladies dancing with the other boys. I remember he had a ton girls following him like if he was some celebrity after the performance. It was crazy cute. Then it went to singing and dancing like Michael Jackson, Jonas Brothers, Bon Jovi, and John Mayer. He performed in the talent show is sophmore year and was put in his high school choir right away. Not just the choir, but in the upper advanced choir, called ENVOX. He has performed in Yakima’s Got Talent, tried out in America’s Got Talent but hasn’t gotten anywhere, I can’t see why he’s not good enough. I’ve been praying about him being found, he has an amazing voice. I can sing but it’s nothing like how he can. He’s a singer and a performer. I can guarantee you that! Myra ClevengerMy husband is in a band called A LESSON IN CHAOS out of Seattle Wa. They are a power metal band that is bringing the old school metal back! They have opened up for many well known signed bands but have never really opened up for the right band. They have been compared to Iron Maiden, Queensryche. The videos on YouTube does not show the energy and power ALC has and I know if these guys were chosen to go on your show, they would not disappoint you. They need a huge break in the music industry and it’s not here in Seattle….unfortunately! The vocals that this band has is amazing, and very versatile.I was diagnosed with leukemia when I was pregnant with my daughter who is now 11. My biggest wish and dream for my husband is to follow his dream in the music industry…from the day we met. Luke has struggled in many aspects in his life, but has always put us first. FrameWerk has original material as well as perform other artist materials. The drummer, El Warren Weatherspoon, “Spoon” was the drummer for Heatwave. He also played for Santana, The Chi-Lites, Jean Carne, and Hall and Oates, to name just a few. The guitar player, Tony Contee played for Heatwave as well as Eddie Kendricks. Jamil SterlingI would be a great choice because, prior to joining the US Army, my father raised me after beging born to drugs, severly deformed legs, eyes, andteeth. My father being a vocalist in his own right, raised me in his image to be a singing entertaining talentwhile he chose a 20 year military career, my father trained me from the age of 3 on vocaly putting me in show after show. My father at the age of 12 allowed me to train prfoessionally in the operatic voice. After entering high school I began to sing locally in coloradospriings and denver. I then went to college and trained in theatre arts and vocal preformance. After my brother while in college got into a life altering fatal car accident. While looking at him dying I put my dreams on hold and joined the US Army. After 6 yrs as a sooldier, I am now ready, I’m a full time student working toward success. This oppurtunity will help me spread more awarness on the loss of love that is causing our kids to commit succide. We released a cd in 2005 that won and placed in many music competitions.We are not spring chickens. We have been around the block a number of times. Going back to 1980, The Bangles opened for a band we were in for two years. They were known as The Fans back in L.A. at that time. We ended up as one of L.A.’s top ten performing acts (voted on by club owners) along with The Plimsouls, The Go-Go’s, Oingo Boingo, Paul Warren and Explorer and X. We recorded for Elektra Asylum at that time and performed with pretty much every act in Los Angeles that meant anything at that time including The Motels.We are not only proficient musicians and songwriters but mesmerizing performers. We have lived and breathed music for our entire lives. Devan EdwardsHi my name is devan, my brothers band Detrimental is local band held here in Cincinnati they had been in 3 competitions to open for some big named bands, 2 of which they tied, and last night the showed they played was rigged. It was battle for mayhem feat to open for slayer, slip knot, anthrax, etc. and they sold they most tickets, made 1,300 dollars for the show last night, there were record deal agents there as the judges, one of the judges had already signed the band that won. The band that won didnt sell one ticket, they had no fans there, because they were told they didnt have to cause they were automatically going to win. The lead singer of Detrimental knew the competition was rigged going into it but he told himself and his band that they would give them a performance that they couldn’t say no too, but they still let Comes the Dawn win. They judged on marketability, performance, how the crowd reacted and a few other things, Comes the Dawn which is the band that won, performed yes but didn’t get the crowd going, didn’t sell any tickets like I said before, and as for marketability they were wearing capri’s, boat shoes, v-necks, definitely didn’t fit the part to open up for slip knot, they didn’t have a so called “Rock star” status. But Detrimental sold 100 plus tickets, and sold more tickets at the door, their fan base went up by a at least a hundred people last night. The record company Live Loud Industries was who rigged the competition, they let all these other local bands spend their time and money to actually compete and no one got paid, they kept all the other bands money and told them to deal with it. Also the band that won wasn’t even a local band and it was suppose to be a local competition, they got in because the promotor of the show is good friends with the agent and the band. Detrimental deserves a chance since this is the third time they have gotten screwed over. Even the other bands from the competition last night started arguing with the judges because as supportive as all the other bands were they wanted Detrimental to win. I believe Detrimental would be an amazing opening act for Metallica, Slipknot, Drowing Pool, and so many more, they have such an aray of talent that they fit the mold for many different rock bands out there, they have opened up for Pop Evil, and never for to open up for Skid Row but played in the same bar as them the next night, they have gotten so close but can’t seem to get there with the fact that the promotors and agents they trust to get them to stardom are the ones bringing them down the most. Her voice just simply blows my mind. Listening to her sing brings so much emotion to myself, she reaches into my heart and my soul and just captivates me with her voice. She is so inticing, you cannot sto plistening to her until you have heard every one of her songs, that is how good she is. She is beyond amazing! Words cannot even describe. I have a very eclectic taste so my stuff, both original and cover, runs the gamut from easy listening to rock, and everything in between. I think I could open for any kind of act except rap or hip hop. To see the full range of material, you would have to listen to a lot of them, not just one, since I don’t stick to any one genre. Leah HarveyKonichiwa I’m not oriental I just love how fun that word sounds. I am 22 years old and reside in a small town called Mentone. I saw an episode of this show and was immediately drawn in. I love how the concept solely focuses on true talent within a persons soul. So many talent search shows are scripted and are so caught up into drawing viewers instead of taking talent and using it as an inspirations to others so with that being said I give you guys mad respect. I discovered I could sing when I was 12 years old. I was in my church choir I know typical right? A lot of great people start in a church choir but I started to notice my voice overpowering the others. I’m glad I started there because I learned a lot of voice control and how to blend in as a group rather than stand out. I never decided to pursue it just because I wanted to further my education after highschool since I know my education is guaranteed. Its a dog eat dog world out there so many people have the same dreams and the same passion for music as I do. I know my heart belongs to music and wherever I go I will continue to sing even if it is for the hell of it just because I love it. I would be extremely honored to be given the opportunity to deliver my voice to the world. I will never stop trying because I know that I’m only getting older and older. HowFlyHello, My name is HowFly, one half of the HiFlyers Music Group from Indianapolis, IN. I believe that we should be considered for Opening Act because we are determined to stand out instead of fitting in. I am a music producer, engineer, and rapper at the age of 19. We created our brand in high school to stand out from every other artist in our city by being ourselves. Focused and determined are two words that match our description. Well, I’m going to go ahead and use it to describe this Arizona quartet.Pulsating with loud rock ‘n’ roll rifts, The Technicolors are coming full steam ahead with an impressive new sound and tour. The sophomore album, Listener, came out a few days ago on June 19, and is one of those albums you play on loop all day. Their sound is a bit hard to pinpoint due to the sheer amount of different influences that the album reflects. They have an amazing ability to weave loud rock ‘n’ roll rhythm with Southern guitar twangs. It even hits a British sound that works with everything seamlessly. How they pull it off without confusing the audience is a mystery to me.“Sweet Time” is the first single off the album, and it immediately catches your ear with its heavy guitar and vibrant sound, reminiscent of Led Zepplin and Jet. My personal favorite is “Fake a Smile,” which starts off slow, just simple piano keys and a guitar. It has its rough and wild moments, and then gets quiet and is drowned out… only to build steadily back to the rock guitar that dominates the album. A perfect combination to my ears — plus, it gives the indication that this band knows how to hook their listeners.While this review is mainly about their new work, their first album, Who You Are, is not to be missed. It is a more of an acoustic rock album that caters to their softer side, which shows just how versatile they are. While I do love the new sound they are currently playing, I do suggest giving “City Where you Sleep” and “To Love” a whirl. It would be a great experience to have an opportunity to open a performance for an established singer.I”m 14 years old and currently sing in the youth chior. To me singing is fun,and I like to lift people spirits through my songs. I plan to attend a performing arts high school where I can gain more experience with training my voice and perfecting my performance as a singer.
