Lindsey RennerI am 30 years old, I have three children. I am a beautiful intriguing petite soulful firecracker. I am passionate and dedicated. I have an I treating strong voice. I’m very tiny, but inside of me is this huge beautiful voice. I have such a unique and amazing story. I’m native American , Wailaki Indian from the Round Valley Covolo Tribe. I was adopted when I was younger, and I never knew my biological father. I grew up in a white family, and looking in the mirror I never saw this beautiful dark complected exotic looking woman , which I clearly am. I had a rather hard and interesting life. My adopted father had a lot of personal issues and I grew up constantly being told that I was nothing, that i wasn’t loved I wasn’t wanted, and after you hear that so long you start to believe it at least I did. I choose ,.partners similar to my father figure and I made my life even more difficult than it ever had to be. Here was this gorgeous amazing talented woman with absolutely no self confidence what so ever. I felt worthless and defeated and I wanted strength I wanted to prove myself to myself and others I guess. I went into the United States Army and I gained this immense strength, I pushed myself so hard and I came out knowing just how strong I was. Every single day I ousted myself further than I ever thought that I could go! Unfortunately I was injured in the line of duty, I fractured both kneecaps and I was medically retired from the army. I am now a disabled veteran. When I got out of the army, I met the love of my life, my husband Jon at a reggae music festival in Humboldt County CA, ” Reggae on the River” and my life was never the same after that. We moved to an itty bitty teeny tiny small town in Humboldt County in Northern CA called BLocksburg. There is probably less than 100 people that live here. We live on a farm, I work every day, seven days a week 365 a year. I have three children and I take pride in teaching them the importance of hard work and dedication. I’ve recently reunited with mu biological famille, and I found out that I have five sisters and one brother that I never even knew I had ! I found strength in the army I found love in Humboldt County, and I found my Native American roots and heritage in my biological family that I’ve recently been introduced to. I’ve ov came so much! I tried to get into the music I dusty when I was younger when I was 21, I recorded with a platinum producer Tu Bullard that worked with after math, and I recruited Greg Mac who helped establish Kday back in the day, I I vested my heart and my soul. It I was young and from a small rural part of CA I was naive and I got taken advantage of. It was a heartbreaking experience and turned me off from the music industry. I told my self at that point that the industry just wasnt for me and that as long as I could sing to my children before bed every night that was good enough for me. Looking back I realize that I just wasn’t ready then, I recall. Yield as somewhat of an empty shell, a shell of an artist, a shell of a woman…I’m ready now. I’ve filled ut. I found my voice. I’ve fund where I stand and who I am, as a mother, a wife and as an individual. I have so much to say! S much to give so much to share! All I need is so done to believ in me the way I now believe in myself. There’s something about me, something special in me that exudes through every inch of my being. It makes people stop and stare, it makes people remember me when I leave and it leaves people wanting more. I do have faith in myself I have finally found my self confidence, and I want to share that with the world. I need to share this with the world. My struggles, my trials and tribulations have made me who I am and have made me so passionate and given me the ability to sing with such emotion and such passion. I have it in me and Im gorgeous…inside and out. All I need is a chance. Someone to believe in me. I have it!!!!!! I’m a HUGE drake fan. He is amazing. He has so much to say it just pours out of him. Sherrice RichardsI’m so excited about this new show. I’ve been singing and playing drums in church since I was 8yr old. But until recently, I never took my voice seriously. I always just loved to sing for the honor and glory of God only. I’ve been hiding behind the choir and running from my calling for so long that I when people would give me complements I would just blush them off. I never took anyone’s feedback serious at all.Last year I was accented into Full Sail University in to the Recording Arts degree program, and I started this school not knowing that it would bring me back to my first love…Singing! Since I’ve started Full Sail, I’ve seeing so much growth and maturity and improvement in myself and in my voice. I’ve been opening up more and more and applying the feedback. I just want to sing now more then I ever did as a little girl in church.I would be honored to make it on this new show. Even if I don’t make it far at all, just for a chance to audition is blessing all by itself. I’m so shy and afraid of what people think of me and my voice.
