Nashville – ABC

One of the most anticipated projects of the television season is set to go before cameras and a number of roles for up and coming talented actors will soon be available. Casting calls and auditions for ABC’s new musical dram Nashville will be held shortly and now you can be a part of what could be the hot show that everyone will be talking about.

Nashville is the brainchild of Academy Award winning writer director Callie Khouri (Thelma And Louise, The Divine Secrets Of The Ya-Ya Sisterhood) and will focus on the drama filled behind the scenes happenings in the Nashville country music scene. Country superstar Rayna James is having a career down slide and her record label is forcing her to embark on a dual tour with rising star Juliette Barnes, the woman set to take her place as the queen of country music kingdom. This hour long drama promises to keep viewers on the edge of their seat each week an intriguing mixture of scheming, plotting, triumph, amazing music and one of the finest principal casts on TV including Connie Britton (Friday Night Lights, American Horror Story), Hayden Panettiere (Heroes, I Love You, Beth Cooper), Eric Close (Without a Trace, Now and Again), Powers Boothe (Hatfields & McCoys, Deadwood) and Jonathan Jackson (General Hospital, Insomnia). There are still several roles to be cast throughout the season and several chances for you to work with some of the biggest talents in entertainment today.     I am not sure if you can help me but I am not looking to be a “extra”
    for the show. I am looking to be a reucurring character in the show.
    My name is Zoe Byrne and I am writing to you in the hope that you might
    require an additional cast member for the TV show “Nashville” on ABC.

    I have attached a link below to an audition video that I have created with
    the thought that you might require someone to play a reucurring
    relative-part for one
    of the show’s characters (ie: Scarlett O’Connor’s sister or cousin, Deacon
    Clayborne niece, etc. It is noticeable that Scarlett O’Connor does
    not have any other family members around her in the show except for
    her uncle, Deacon. I think that her character requires more family
    around her as she rises to fame and popularity in the city of
    Nashville, TN. )

    I am specifically mentioning these two characters in particular due to the
    fact that I have been told by a grand number of people, that I bear a lot
    of resemblance to Scarlett O’Connor in the show (this is what lead me to
    believe that perhaps a sister-like role would be a suitable character for
    someone like me; but of course, I would not mind playing any other suitable
    roles such as a girlfriend, friend, cousin, etc.)

    Like others, I know that this would give me a great opportunity to get into
    the show biz. I believe that I would be an asset to your team and fit in
    well with other cast members.

    I understand that you probably have no need for another cast member as yet,
    but I can assure you that I would endeavour to help the show excel and grow

    Since I could first walk and talk, country music has been the central focus of my life. I remember deciding in preschool that one day I would be a famous singer/songwriter. Mom put me in singing and dance lessons at age five, and it didn’t take long for my dreams to be reassured. At age nine, I was cast on an NBC television show called “America’s Most Talented Kid.” Short-lived as it was, it was an amazing experience that showed me that dreams can come true.

    The show Nashville might be a fictional story, but it is focussed around the reality of the city of Nashville and the music business. The show captured my attention from the very beginning, and I looked at mom and said, “I would love to be on this show one day.” Mom said, “Let’s make it happen.” I would love to make it happen.

    I would like a roll in nashville because I would like to expand my experience not to mention I love the show! I have seen some movies filmed around my hometown when I was younger and presently. I was a extra in “at any price” and I really liked it and feel like I could fit into any part needed to be filled. After the movie was filmed I knew I wanted to get into acting and just be apart of it anyway I could. I was an extra in my school play and have done piano recitals.     I’m not exactly sure what you’re meant to say here apart from why I think I should be considered…so I’ll start there.

    My name is Steph, I’ve just turned 23, and I’m from England. I tried to learn guitar when I was 7 and failed miserably, 11 years later after listening to The Dixie Chicks and getting frustrated that all I could play that resembled a guitar was my badminton racket, so I decided to give the guitar another go. I did, and success! I can now play the guitar pretty well! I got so into music that I bought a ukulele and learnt that, then bought a banjo and am in the process of learning that (it’s not as easy as I first thought!)

    Female country singers have a habit of being able to blast away the audience with their amazing vocals like Carrie Underwood and LeAnn Rimes… however I more prefer (ie can sing) songs by Alison Krauss and songs by my first inspiration to learn guitar, The Dixie Chicks. I definitely don’t have the unique vocal talent of Alison Krauss, and I don’t have a friend who can play the fiddle like The Dixie Chicks have…but what I do have is a love of country music and my guitar.

    Having a show like Nashville that I’ve been watching just shows that there are likeminded people out there who love country music just as I do. I have no idea what it would be like on set, but in my mind, it’s a load of people who love country music and want to share it with the world, That’s what I want to do – spread country music!

    If appearing on Nashville is how I do it, well, that would be a lovely bonus…
