Nick FarbizioHey my name is Nicholas Farbizio , I live in Maryland . I am currently 15 years old . I have always dreamed of becoming a Disney channel star. I have watched disney my whole life . When I was little I would put on shows with my little sister and preform our little skits for our family and friends . When I was younger I would always audition for the school plays . When I was in middle school I auditioned for HONK ,the musical . Then I auditioned for Seussical the musical . I made both of them as semi-lead roles and got lots of laughs ! I then went to high school and as a freshmen I didn’t expect a lead role and little did I know they loved me and I became a French investigator in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. I was so ecstatic and auditioned for the next three one act plays and got a lead in everyone of them . I was a hilarious reporter a not so great doctor , a guy who thinks he knows tons of languages and an Italian man who likes big women . Then I auditioned for the next show and it happened to be a show they have been planning for 12 years . I was very afraid of not getting in because this was something really big. I got the role as Jem in To Kill A Mockingbird . It was by far the most fun and took the most work to memorize the lines . I had 290 lines to memorize and I memorized all my lines before anyone , I then had more time to work on blocking. I had one month to memorize all these lines and got it done in one week. They were so impressed . My director and all the other directors 3 other counties voted me as best actor of the year . I got a nice trophy and gained so much confidence from getting that title out of hundreds of kids. I would love to be a part of Disney channel so much. Disney sounds like such a wonderful place to work for . I am “5,8” and I have brown hair and hazel eyes . I have braces but I get them taken off August 5th 2013. I am Caucasian and Italian . Shanlee Seiler-PorterHello, my name is Shanlee Seiler-Porter and I am interested in an open casting call for Disney Channel in or near Minneapolis, Minnesota. I am 13 years old, 5’7″ and 120 pounds. I am a very experienced actress; I am involved with one of the largest children’s theatres in the country (CTC, Minneapolis) and have been in multiple plays and training camps. Although my experience in performing is mostly theatre and stage, I have done multiple training camps on television performing. I am so invested in my acting career that I no longer attend a brick and mortar public school. I attend Connections Academy, an online school connected to Julliard’s performing program, so I can focus primarily on my acting career without missing out on my education. I can easily pass for a much older teenager and am often mistaken for one. I have done multiple Shakespearean plays, and have been taught by professionals difficult acting techniques, such as crying on command. I also have a very large background in voice and dancing lessons. I am very active; I play volleyball and run 2 miles 3 to 5 days a week, exercising every day. I wear glasses currently, but I have contacts if that would be necessary. I am also involved in charity work, such as donating what I can to the food bank and homeless shelters in my community. My family is middle-class, so unfortunately, I don’t have much extra money. I have a history of depression and anxiety, which I have gotten completely over, but I feel that I could be a wonderful role-model to young people with the same problems. My family is very invested in my acting career and takes me to auditions/camps/rehearsals/shows regularly, along with helps me find auditions and camps. I would love to have the opportunity to audition for Disney, it would mean the world to me and my family. The opportunity in itself would mean the world to me, and having a place on Disney channel and being able to provide money for my family would make me extremely happy.
