AmandaI’ve always been fascinated with acting. I’m more of a musician but would love to try it. Mark StedmanI don’t regularly watch the show like wife does. I was watching today and wondered aloud about getting cast onto the show, so here I am. I am a 52 year old white male, 6’0 about 260 lbs. in flabby condition but with big arms. No tattoos, balding with eye glasses. I have never actually acted before, but did appear in the movie “Rampage” directed by William Friedkin in 1987. I walked by with my wife and stared directly into the camera. For some reason, it wasn’t edited out. Oh, if you (reader) decide to look, it is the scene toward the end at the carnival while the boy is throwing ping pong balls. My wife at the time has passed away. My current wife (number 4, have had two pass away now) loves the show and can watch all day if I let her. Right now I am nursing a hang-over, so she is still watching the re-runs. She is Alecia, white and 46. She is 5’5 and about 150. She is blonde with big hair. I can send pictures if you are even slightly interested. To me, it seems there are many on the show who have little experience but are directed to do a mostly admirable job. One of the main reasons is because when i was younger, maybe 7-8 years old, i never knew the name of the show, but i would always watch it with my sister. One day, i was channel surfing when i was home sick from school, & i recognized the theme song & i spazzed out & immediately scrolled back & saw ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’. I became so addicted to it at such a young age, i’d write poems about the show, i’d talk about the show, i had the title as my phone lock screen. This show became my life. People always told me i sound like a lawyer when i talk, & that’s because after so many years of watching that show, the lines slowly became part of my speech & it was how i spoke. Everytime the intro comes on, i say every single word as if it’s the National Anthem. My love for the show was so severe, i actually got jealous & cried over other people my age on the show. It’s not about fame to me, it’s about being apart of something i’ve been infatuated with since i was a little girl. I’ve also liked acting, but i’m not the type of person to go on a school stage & perform. I have a fear of people i know judging me… All i use to do during commercial breaks was practice acting. Let’s say in the current episode, a girl with a Russian accent was there. I’d continue with an accent as if i were the character. I know i’m young & i’m a little bit crazy over the show, but it’s always been something on my bucket list i wanted to check off. Unfortunately, i won’t be able to walk for 6-8 weeks due to a surgery on my foot last week. But i’m still going to give it a shot & send this in.
