Casting Call for Commercial

Do you want to know how to land a commercial acting and modeling job? All you have to do is apply to this casting call! Gatorade, the leading sports drink company, is gearing up to film a new commercial and they are looking for extras. Filming is scheduled to take place in Chicago, Illinois on Monday, February 27th, 2017. These roles are SAG/ Union extra roles so you must be SAG-AFTRA in order to be considered unless you are a hockey player. The paid commercial is in need of males to portray hockey players, coaches, officials and trainers and men and women ages 18 to 55 to play hockey fans.

About Gatorade

Gatorade was created in the 1960’s after a University of Florida assistant coach sat down with a team of the university physicians to figure out why so many of his players were being affected by heat and heat related illnesses. After discovering the players were losing electrolytes and fluids that were lost through the sweat were not being replaced along with the carbohydrates the player’s bodies were using for energy. What They Are Looking For

Casting directors are searching for SAG-AFTRA Union members who are current on their dues to fill the following roles:

Hockey Players, Coaching Staff, Officials, Trainers – you must be able to skate and play with high level hockey skills.

Male, Any Ethnicity, 18 to 55 years old

Please note with the NCAA guidelines, we cannot see anyone who is currently pro or will go pro. Additionally, principal casting is looking for options as well, and we may forward your submission to them for consideration, but do not submit with 4 Star Casting UNLESS you are willing to work as an extra. If you are a hockey player ONLY, and are not Union, you will still be considered – if chosen, we will Taft-Hartley.

How to Apply

If interested and available, send an email with the following to commercials4extras@gmail.com:
Put ROLE you are available in the subject line of your email.

Include name, age (date of birth). phone, email, height, weight and MEASUREMENTS:
Men: Jacket, Neck/Sleeve (note: sleeve is measured from middle of the back of your neck down the length of your arm to wrist), Pants (waist/inseam), and Shoes – if applying for Hockey Player, please include uniform sizes.
Women: Dress, Pants, Bust/Waist/Hips and Shoes

CANDID PHOTOS (make sure to send 1 full length body photo) – if applying for Hockey Player, if you have a picture of yourself in uniform, please also include.

Please confirm that you are current on your Union Dues, and include your SAG/AFTRA ID number. If applying for hockey player, and not a union member, please states so in your submission.

Confirm the shoot date(s) you are available to work.

Confirm that your registration with 4 Star Casting is current (within the last 12 months).

Confirm your mode of transportation to set.

If you are applying for Hockey Player, please give us a brief description of your skill level, and if you play on a league, etc.

Let the team know if you are part of their database – this is a separate database that we are building, and it is different than registering with our company or filling it one of our master surveys.
