Are you ready to be in the next face of Gatorade? The sports drink has a new commercial audition that you can apply to! A new casting call is searching for males who are highly skilled hockey players or basketball players. Men who are between the ages of 18 and 35 years old who have played semi-pro or college hockey or basketball are being hired to star in the SAG-AFTRA union commercial. Because filming will be in Chicago, Illinois, the team is looking for people who are local to the area. Commercial auditions will be held on Monday, February 13th and Tuesday, February 14th. Basketball players who are hired will need to be available February 21st through February 24th for the basketball shoot and February 27th for the hockey shoot. This paid gig will be paying talent the union scale rates which are a min of $600.00

About Gatorade

Gatorade was created in the 1960’s after a University of Florida assistant coach sat down with a team of the university physicians to figure out why so many of his players were being affected by heat and heat related illnesses. After discovering the players were losing electrolytes and fluids that were lost through the sweat were not being replaced along with the carbohydrates the player’s bodies were using for energy.

What They Are Looking For

Looking for men 18-35 who have played collegiate or semi-pro in either basketball or hockey.

Looking for professional Referees who can skate/play hockey.

Auditions are Mon. 2/13 & Tues 2/14.

This is a SAG-AFTRA commercial, if booked pay is based on scale rates (min. $600).

To be considered, in addition to coming to the auditions, you need to be available for a possible callback on Fri. 2/17 and if hired, shoot is 2/21-2/24 for the basketball shoot and 2/27 for the hockey shoot.

Open to ALL highly skilled players but very specifically looking for a Basketball player who is close to 6’9″ and 220lbs AND a Hockey player who is close to 5’10” and 177lbs.
