    I love Game of Thrones because this show is right up my inner-geek alley. I may have a *slight* addiction for things like Star Wars and Marvel comics (because I believe they are better than DC comics, just my opinion), Resident Evil, Walking Dead….. pretty sure the list can go on and I’ve got the Network Administrator job and Security + certification to back up my geekiness. I would like to audition for a role in Game of Thrones to release my fantasy ass kicking abilities and finally put my college Stage Combat class to the test. Well, that and because nobody believes that I can do it so why not prove them all wrong???

    Hi there. I’m 25 years old and live in London. I’m 6’2/3, dark-hair/eyes and broad-shouldered, with quite a good frame and stage presence I’d say. I have a pretty unique accent with a deep voice and can play a gritty, darker role quite well. I think something like Game of Thrones with its darker tone and imposing setting would suit me quite well and I’d be honoured to be a part of this fantastic series.

    I know that there are certainly much much more qualified actors than me and that this unworthy “application” will probably be lost in a sea of others, but I had to take a chance at this. I’ve always wanted to be cast in a fantasy epic similar to Game of Thrones, even as an extra. In all probability, I won’t get such a chance here, but I had to try. One misses all of the shots that one does not take.

    Greetings, My name is Joshua Bell, I am 6ft tall, stocky, with a pale complexion and live in the north of England, which would make perfect for any character that resides north of kings landings. I have a pretty unique face, albeit not pretty, but strong features with medium length dark brown hair. I am 16 as of writing this, but will be 17 on the 10th of may. I am kind hearted, patient and intelligent. As serious as I may come across, I am light hearted and down to earth and fit in with any form of group I am put into.

    I draw my acting from all kinds of places. I love 80’s comedy, such as John Hughes, specifically The Breakfast club, but also have an incredible admiration for Kevin Spacey in films such as American Beauty and K-PAX. I am very observant and watch how the actors seem to blend into their characters and surroundings and I am excellent at cutting myself off from my actual self and entering the mind of a character, and I believe I would be exceptional at getting myself into the characters of George RR Martins “A song of ice and fire”. Having read the books I understand the importance of everything about the characters, such as motives, relationships and repartee between the other characters.

    I am currently studying History, Law, Philosophy and English Literature at A level and I am predicted to score highly in these tests, I think the aforementioned subjects have provided me with the maturity level and cunning to take on a challenge such as Game of Thrones. Studying Law, I have actually had the opportunity to take place in mock trials in the Royal Galleries of Justice in Nottingham, which, to win your case, does require a plethora of acting skills, as you must improvise and adapt your base script to convince the Jury, and I have won on every occasion.

    I believe I have won these cases, because I have unlimited drive, if I want to do something, I will put my mind to it and achieve this goal, under any circumstances. I am a driven person by nature.

    As for academic training, I studied the performing arts for three years during my tenure at school and also worked on many whole school performances, such as a Zombie themed title, Chicago, Aladdin and many others. It is a great hobby of mine and I would adore the chance to take it a step further. I also have many friends who are playwrights and screen writers, as a hobby or in education, and they often ask me for my artistic input, whether it be acting out a character they have in mind or fleshing out a story.

    Although trying to avoid cliche and obvious statements, Mr Martins books are my all time favorite series, rivaling the most acclaimed authors, such as H.P. Lovecraft and Tolkien himself. He has managed to sculpt a sense of modern ideology into a world governed by unpredictable and often supernatural occurrence, set in a medieval style fantasy world, and to be a part of crafting this story would be something I would but my own life force and soul into.

    I also live in an small area with a castle, which often holds sparring events with swords and “king’s hunts” where we get to use bows, and have come to know how to use these items to a fairly standard level, so adapting to the real things on a set wouldn’t provide as much of a challenge as starting from fresh.

    Overall, I think my charming guile and wit could add something to the show, and I would be forever thankful if I was given the opportunity to simply audition, and would try my hardest as to not let anyone down. I believe that given the audition, I can really shine through and impress the right people to become a member of the show. I believe there is a fine line between arrogance and self confidence, and I believe strongly I am of the latter.

    I also play in a band, I am the lead vocalist and guitarist. We have a pretty large following in Doncaster and Sheffield from where we hail, and are often praised on our showman ship, I believe I can transfer these artistic qualities to acting. It is in my belief system that acting comes from the heart, and with or without spending 10 years at an acting academy, if you are determined and have the will to succeed, you will wow your audience, and that is what I intend to do, given the chance.

    It would be incredible to serve the genius’ known as Weiss and Benioff, no matter whether I am an extra or a large member of the production,

    My name is Luke Coughlan; I am an 18 year old Irish actor who lives in London. I have dirty blonde hair, blue eyes, slim build yet with tone and I’m 5ft6.

    After reading your Casting Call for the fifth season of HBO’s Game of Thrones, I would love to be considered for a role. The show is awe inspiring and to be part of the project in any shape or form would be an honour and huge moment in my life. The reality of the show despite it being fantasy based is immense. I believe it to be a unique show and therefore unique experience for any actor.

    I strongly believe that I would be great for the show as I have been acting since the age of ten. Starting from amateur plays and school films, to fringe theatre; I have grown up with acting and feel that for someone my age I could offer you a lot of experience.

    I am starting Acting at degree level this coming October at East 15 school of Acting, and therefore I am extremely flexible for any filming/travelling needed; as this sort of opportunity is something that any actor would treasure as a defining point in their life. Also, having beaten the 1/100 odds of getting into drama school, I hope that my skills as an actor will be what you are looking for.

    As well as offering you with a professional attitude and a level of talent required, I feel that I myself would learn a great deal from this project. The experience that I would gain would be something that I would take with me for the rest of career. The chance to perform on such defined sets, to be able to work with such talented people and to act as such a complex character (a huge contributing factor to the show’s success) is an exciting prospect and I hope you give me the chance to give you all that I can give!

    Hi, my name is Rebecca McGowan. I am from Northern Ireland, where previous Game of Thrones have been filmed. I have brunette, shoulder length hair, blue eyes and I am fourteen years old. I love acting. I have had major roles in productions of my drama group and take part in school plays and concerts at my school. I have achieved Grade 3 Musical Theatre Singing and I am about to do Grade 4. By doing Musical Theatre Singing grades and numerous plays I am used to using different accents from my own. I have no professional experience so far, but I would love the chance to act on a set. Being a background character with no words or a main character with two scripts of words, I would take both oppurtunities with both hands (and feet if possible) and perform to the best of my abilities. I enjoy watching Game of Thrones with a passion and I idolise Lena Headey.     I did an acting group for 2 years which sadly got cancelled, so im not that experienced but I am passionate about acting (and game of thrones) so I thought “YOU’VE GOT TO DO IT” and and this, as the opportunity of a lifetime, would be my absolute dream.
    I am able to learn lines very quickly, I have done grade 8 violin and am currently learning singing for my grade 8 also. I want to be apart of game of thrones, even the tiniest part, because even thinking of being in the making of it gives me goosebumps. Daenerys is my absolute god and to be able to act alongside her would be amazing, but I adore all the charachters so really anything would be amazing.

    If you’re reading this then many thanks. My name is Michael, I am 19 year old, blue eyes, brown hair, very pale skin. People have even said I look like I could be Emilia Clarke’s brother (seems odd but that comment made way more sense in context I promise). I know I could definitely contribute to the show and it would mean the world to me to be given a chance.I’m from the south of England so I have the game of thrones voice no problem. Average height, physique on the athletic side. I am a huge fan of the show and have read all of the books. The quality of Game of Thrones surpasses all other shows on TV. It truly is the best example of what can happen when producers and writers really care about the show they are making. There are various characters I could play, for instance Young Griff/Aegon, although I would jump at the opportunity to play anything or anyone. I am no stranger to acting, having a modest resume of youth and non youth theatre roles as well as being an extra in the 2012 Les Miserables. Having worked my way up from an overcrowded state school to currently be attending the LSE, I am committed to hard work and could potentially add to the show, if that is at all possible. I would also definitely be free for any and all filming. I am aware of the magnitude of applications and it means a lot to me that you took the time to read mine.     I love Game of Thrones, as I think it’s the best written television show currently being made.     Hi, I’m Chris, 23 year old male born and raised in London. I am originally from Venice, Italy and thus speak italian perfectly as I live there for 11 years of my life.

    I am 182cm tall, 84kg, olive skin, amber eyes and brown hair. I regularly keep fit by playing various sports like squash, rugby and running. So I am generally quite a good looking guy. I have a passion for music (I play the drums too) and arts in general (mainly because I grew up in a city as artistic as Venice). I have always been a lover of cinema and theatre in London and Venice alike (often going to the internationally renown Goldoni Theatre).

    Although I do not have any acting experience (as I have studied Business) apart from amateur shorts done during my teenage years and a secret lifelong ambition, I do consider myself being in possession of acting skills and possibly good for a part in Game of Thrones.
    Due to growing up with 2 cultures at the same time (England and Italy) and because of my linguistic capabilities, I am very good with accents and portraying people form various ethnicities.

    I think I could be a potential candidate for Game of Thrones as I am sure to bring my particular personality and modest skills to very good use.

    Hello, my name is Hunter, I am 17 years old and I am from eastern Virginia, US. I first got into the series by hearing a friend talk about it. I then decided to buy the first book and I have been captivated ever since. Being on the cast would not only be an amazing experience, but it would also allow me to help prove that Game of Thrones is one of the best series ever written and that it deserves a place in literary history. I am six feet tall, around 175Ibs, I have a strong, athletic build and I enjoy going to the gym. My eyes are sky blue, and I have brown hair. I do not have much experience in acting, but I feel that I would do very well with it. My voice is strong and resonant and I feel like it is one of my best qualities. I also have a great musical background. I have been in district and regional bands, and I am in the top 5% of french horn players in the state.     I have some experience in acting, theater, moreover, I am a young writer and screenwriter. I plan my future with directing, acting and music (I am singing a little bit). I am from Poland and I speak English on communicative level, but I learn quickly. I do not complain on my accent, but I am ready to improve it if necessary.
    I am 17 years old, 6’0″ tall and about 75kg weight. I have got dark brown hair and blue/green/grey eyes.

    I am ambitious and charismatic, I love to play and work with a large group of people, because I have a sense of belonging to something, then. That is very exciting to me.
    After watching the first season of “Game of Thrones” immediately I sat down to a series of novels that I read in one breath. Closely I have followed the action in the books and so in the show and I am impressed by the acting of a high standard. I think that being a part of such a huge project is a big challenge, gives the dose of experience and of course a lot of fun! I dream of playing alongside at least few of these amazing actors. It is obvious that I have aspiration to some “significant role” (though really each role is important), for example Aegon Targaryen, but I would not mind any small role.

    Still, I am humble and grateful for giving me any chance to be able to fulfill myself on the role of a television actor (I know there is a big difference between acting on theatre and acting in the movie but don’t worry) and be able to play one of the characters created by George RR Martin and/or written by Mr. Dan Weiss and Mr. David Benioff.
    I’m ready for anything, I’ll be grateful for you considering my comments and taking me into consideration.

    My name is Marjolijn Huijsmans (bit hard to pronounce, sounds very much like Marilyn, as in Marilyn Monroe). I am from the Netherlands, just like Carice van Houten (Melisandre) and Michiel Huisman (Daario Naharis), who a surname almost similar to mine. I am 22 years old, about 178 cm tall, with a slim to normal posture. I have straight to wavy red hair and brown eyes, and a medium to light skin with some freckles. I love working out, which leaves me in good shape. I have a good british and american pronunciation.
    I have been with an amateur theatre group for 12 years and played very different parts. I also played in the theatre with a student theatre group for 4 years. I have always enjoyed acting, especially the challenge of playing different parts and making them as realistic as possible. I have been complemented on my “natural way of acting” by a number of theatre directors. I also played as an extra in a TV series in the Netherlands.
    I always felt a strong connection to almost anything that has to do with the UK (for example King Arthur, cottages, Little Britain, Mr. Bean, Cornwall, Bath, not to mention London, and many, many more).
    I fell in love with Game of Trones because it contains all the elements that make a good fantasy (sword fights, dragons, magic) and at the same time has an intriguing story. Therefore, I would absolutely love to have an opportunity to play even the tiniest part of an extra you consider fitting.

I have been doing acting since I was 4 years old and I do many acting clubs and have played in many plays, like my most recent play I was in was ‘West Side Story’ which I did in February.     My name is Marjolijn Huijsmans (bit hard to pronounce, sounds very much like Marilyn, as in Marilyn Monroe). I am from the Netherlands, just like Carice van Houten (Melisandre) and Michiel Huisman (Daario Naharis), who has a surname almost similar to mine. I am 22 years old, about 178 cm tall, with a slim to normal posture. I have straight to wavy red hair and brown eyes, and a medium to light skin with some freckles. I love working out, which leaves me in good shape. I have a good british and american pronunciation.
    I have been with an amateur theatre group for 12 years and played very different parts. I also played in the theatre with a student theatre group for 4 years. I have always enjoyed acting, especially the challenge of playing different parts and making them as realistic as possible. I have been complemented on my “natural way of acting” by a number of theatre directors. I also played as an extra in a TV series in the Netherlands.
    I always felt a strong connection to almost anything that has to do with the UK (for example King Arthur, cottages, Little Britain, Mr. Bean, Cornwall, Bath, not to mention London, and many, many more).

    My name is Aaron, I’m Eighteen years of age, 6’1 and I live on the Isle of Man so access to England and Ireland is not a problem. I would consider myself a well mannered person with a healthy and positive attitude who is always up for a laugh. I attended the Army Cadets for 5 years which has also made myself the disciplined and punctual young man I am today. I’ve had quite a few Jobs which are not for me and have never delved into the world of acting, but it’s always something I’ve been interested in.     What can I bring to the show, well thats a good question, I am not a typical thespian or really any kind of actor, I have no previous experience or training, but at the same time that could be a benefit to not have any bad habits, or desire to over do the role no matter how minor.

    We love the GoT project because the series has such a high tension that we can’t stop watching and talking about it even if we have to learn some university stuff. We are totally fascinated by the various relationships between the characters (and of course their families) , their different motivations and the fact that nobody is completely bad or good. In this context we can´t deside for only one throne-player we wish to be the king 😀 Following the happenings in the series became a hugh part of our time out. Sometimes we discuss very emotionally about the deaths till late and ps: We could not sleep when Robb Stark died! But that´s the reason for our excitment for the whole story, nobody is safe and we have to shiver because our darlings could die 😀 All in all we´d love to be part of this fantastic world and if you could mail us. Finally some information about us: We´re 23 and 24, normal weight, both blonde hair also pretty (could play Lannister fellows 😀 ) and open-minded. Whether the books, or the show, the writing is amazing and just feels real. But that is only part of why I love the series, the cast is so talented, and so clearly “get it”. The characters come to life under the inspiration of the brilliant cast. The crew are truly the unsung hero’s who make it all work.     I started watching this show shamefully rather late. I got the box set and then Couldn’t. Stop. Watching. As an actress, watching a show such as this makes me itch to get up and enter into the land of Westeros. I have such a passion for fantasy and medieval stories and absolutely adore the idea of becoming a character in such a show where an entire world is created. I’ve become so very connected to the whole story, I was left entirely traumatised after the Red Wedding, and love how many paths this one programme follows, and it would be such a dream to be a part of it (cliché to say, I know, but hear me out).

    I believe all the actors in Game of Thrones do such a fantastic job of capturing each of their characters journeys. The subtlety in some of their performances is simply outstanding. I believe that, because I have such an admiration and passion for the show, that I would bring something to it, even if I was only performing as an extra. I know how to act on set and always act professionally and enthusiastically. I’ve been acting for as long as I can remember, moving up from countless school plays to performances in off West End Venues and being an extra in several short and feature films. It would be an incredible privilege to be a part of this show in any way I could. I know I would learn so much from it, more than I could imagine, and I hope that I could be considered for such a wonderful opportunity.

    I don’t want to seem too cheesy or over-enthusiastic but if I do its only because of how much I care about this. I’m the sort of actress who plays Legend of Zelda games and watches shows like Game of Thrones and Lord of the Rings in her spare time, so I hope you can appreciate how much this means to me.

    Hello my name is Michael,
    I am an aspiring actor who is 18 and 6ft 3″. I have a muscular body type and am very versatile when it comes to acting. I live in the North West of England in Liverpool and therefore can easily access the auditions and hopefully filming locations if I am privileged enough. I have a standard English accent but accents is defiantly my strong point in drama. My in school drama is very pleasing having achieved an A* in my GCSE will maximum practical marks and achieving very high marks in my practical AS. Apart from this I have had the pleasure of acting main roles in my school productions and the pantomime in my local town. I would defiantly say that singing is my strong point musically and has allowed me to perform in musicals such as Les Mis, Jesus Christ Superstar and Calamity Jane.

    I have also auditioned for Hollyoaks in the past which is a TV shows filmed in the Manchester area of the UK. My main ‘claim to fame’ is auditioning for the new upcoming Star Wars film in which I received a call back for and was a real confidence boost for me when it comes to acting. My teacher is a close relation to Joe Dempsie who plays Gendry. For her to know two people in Game of Thrones would be pretty cool. I understand that there are lots of people you are looking through, but please try and make my dreams become a reality!
