Demeika Brown-AlexanderHi, I’m Demeika, and after what my mom just showed me I had to respond. My mother is Safi Brown. She is 35 years old. Yes she is a good mother but my mom can be a little extra at times. Our mother does not trust men at all, if she catches a man looking at me or my sisters my little mother will explode. Please don’t let them talk to us, she will go crazzzzzyyy,. She always complains of kids being kidnapped and raped. So my mother does not allow her kids to travel anywhere without her, so if ones goes we all go. She is a good person, she always willing to help others even when were the ones that need help. She very caring and giving. But to me she is a little to protective. She can be very embarrassing. If you make her mad you will know. She will scream until she can’t scream no more. It’s like screaming is her language. She is single and currently not dating. Our mom is a true home body, she has no close friends and surrounds herself around our life’s daily. I’m 15 I bring home A,B’s report cards as well as my siblings. We argue as siblings and when we do it not only makes our mom mad but it hurts her as well. Our mom is our superhero, she always here for us. My siblings and I do cause extra in the household at times, but I believe we’re around each other just a little too much. My oldest brother Shymeik and I argue all the time, I love him but at times he get on my nerves he is 18 and he thinks he is in control. Especially when my mom is gone to run an errand. He has a girlfriend who lives back in Virginia and all they do is argue over the phone. And we tell him we don’t want to hear that everyday and boy does he get mad. My sister Demetria who is 13, suffers from asthma so she thinks she suppose to get spoiled all way around. She is lazy! She blames her asthma as why she can’t do this or that. And my mom lets her get away with it. We call her the gramma of the family, she has a beautiful voice and likes to draw. And always tries to be the peace maker unless she is mad with you. My youngest sister Dasafi well she just thinks she’s is gold or something, someone is always telling her how pretty she is and she gets even more big headed. She is spoiled because she is the youngest girl. I feel like my mom gives her more freedom than the older kids. dasha can be very controlling and she quick to tell mommy on you, we call her the tattle tale of the family, you can’t let her see you do anything wrong. Heck even if it’s not bad she will tell my mom. She is the reporter. And my youngest brother Demetrius is beyond spoiled, he runs through the house like a warrior. He stays throwing a ball, that just might hit u. He loves to pick with the dog and make him bark. My little brother has lots of energy and is nothing like the other kids. We were calm and collective at his age. He is out of control. Always whining, crying and begging. He keeps friends knocking on the door all day. And drives my mom bonkers. Overall were a normal family but were really not I felt like you should hear from the kids point of view. Safi BrownHi, I’m Safi 35years old and a mother of 5. 3 girls and 2boys. The girls ages are 15, 13 and 10. My boys are 18 and 8. I would have to say we would be a good family for this role. Besides the drama in the house, we also have great love for each other. Everyday their is some type of argument or dispute. It could range from the dishes being done, trash being taking out or as simple as walking the dog. Sometimes the situations can go a little deeper. Their is constant chaos in our home. I had a chore list going once, but since I’m a stay at home mom. I rather just verbally say what needs to be done. Because most of the time I’m able to handle chores, expect their rooms. I leave that for them, what I may not find important to them will turn around and very we’ll be important to them, so I firmly believe their room is their space. I do not get along with the children’s dad. We split about 3 years ago and I decided to move out of state. We currently live in North Carolina . For years we have always been the family that’s late, I start early and still fall behind. This is no blame to myself,,lol the kids will be talking, on ipad, phone or doing something other than what I said. It’s so embarrassing to appear late, especially when you have such a big family. It’s not like 1 or 2 of us can just slide in without being notice. Were a big family that you won’t miss. I’m only 4″11 and a lot of people mistake me for the kid. My older 3 children stand taller so I kind of see how they could bypass me as a parent. The only way someone will take notice that I’m actually the parent is if I have to fuss, once they hear this deep voice coming from such a little person they just stare so hard like their so amused.. When were out in public I get a lot of compliments on how well behaved they are, but you know your family always has that one day when moms not up for playing around or jokes. So if they get out of line I will give them the death look that their very afraid of. They know then moms not playing! I do tend to laugh and play around with my kids a lot, but I try to make it clear I’m not playing. Everyday, I scream, I have to take a moment and breathe just to be able to deal with a such a chaotic household. I love my kids dearly but when u have teenagers and younger kids their can be a lot of disagreements. Lol This house is one busy home, only time their is peace is when their in school and bedtime. And bedtime doesn’t always work out great. We are very comical, theirs always a joke being told, causing distractions at times. It’s never quiet in our home, u can only imagine. Tv, radio, game being played, someone cheering, someone stepping, someone singing lol the list goes on. You really have to see for yourself. So I totally agree we would be perfect for this role. You will see tears being shed, jokes being told, disagreements, punishments, (no beatings) and so much more. The kids seem to think I can be embarrassing to them at times, like if were out and we see a friend of theirs or a teacher. I will speak yell their name to get their attention to say hello, and the kids finds it very embarrassing. I think this makes me do it more, to assure them not to be afraid of embarrassing moments. It happens. All of our birthdays are in in different months expect my middle and youngest daughter. They share the month of march, 2 days apart. Their is a age difference. But with so many personalities their is never a dull moment. I think America would love our family. We are a one of kind, whenever we have visitors they are sure to leave with a smile on their face from the experience they had in our home. Not to mention, I love kids and my children know this, when ever we take road trips, or visit the zoo or something. One of my kids friends is sure to come. It’s always ma, can she or he please come,,,, how can you say no, no friends can come right, I know sometimes I have too and it breaks my heart. But as a parent you make the decisions. My dislikes are when my children argues with each other, they argue like their grown people without the language. I’m a firm believer of family love, a family that prays together stays together. Ok so first off i would like to say that my mom and dad got divoreced back in 2006 and he left my mom out in the cold and she now lives with her neice and 3 kids and grandson. My mom and dad were married for over 20 years and they have 3 kids together my oldest brother Derrick 24, me (Charmaine) 22, and Marcus 18. I’ve always been a “daddy’s girl”. My dad had an affair with a soldier mate and knocked her up, so i have a half brother Devin 16 who also happens to me autistic. My mom and dad separated in 2004 and divorced in 2006. He left my mom with NOTHING, leaving her to stay with her neice, my 1st cousin Anita 34 and her three kids Keyani 17, Jalen 14, and Sebian 12. Anita also has a grandson from her daughter Kingston 9 months. Anita took my mom in also so that my mom can help her out the the kids, so my mom has been with them for almost 10 yrs i woiluld say. Now my dad is married again to his mistress Margaret. She has DESTROYED my family with no remorse and she hates and despise me for no apparent reason. We dont get along and dont speak to eachother.I was told by my dad that she doesnt want him to do for me (his only daughter). I’ve been staying with my mom for the past year because my stepmom kicked me out for no apparent reason. My dad said he can’t do anything about it. So now its 7 of us living in a 3 bedroom 1 bath house and its been so tough for me. I just enrolled in college and now me an my mom is trying to find our own place to stay so we can move forward from all the craziness. Its been so much drama from the past few years and there is alot of tension and problems that need to be reconciled. I really want my family to have this opprtunity because Anita and her daughter Keyani cannot see eye to eye. I dont know why and anita doesnt know why either. There’s alot of skeletons in the closet and i really want our family to be the way we were when my grandmothers were living. I wish that my life started coming from a group home actually i was always in and out of my family’s life my whole life. I had two children they’re names are tyshaun greene and tymeek greene, they live with my step-mother charisse greene she takes wonderful xare of my boys very well she has always been a good care giver. Lately i’ve been falling down deep and deeper and can’t get out of this deep hole i am in everything i done in my life i always failed and never accomplished any of my dreams. Add a 93 yo grandmother that lives with you and your her caregiver it can be a ride you don’t want to miss. Seriously my oldest keeps the police coming to my suburban home from her outbreaks it can be a bit overwhelming at times. I know it has alot to do with my wife and I divorcing then getting back together 10 years later but at some point we all need to heal and forgive and move on to the next level of life with hope and prosperity and love….I know you probably reads thousands of these things a day but even if you dont pick my family Thank You for at least taking time to let me vent. I was just told today my daughter has been admitted for physcological evaluation again…I can only pray that things get better. Then there is my 21 year old brother who is the troubled one he will steal and do anything for extra money. He is a huge partier which is how i got aressted with fighting with him. Sel, 30, is recently transitioned FTM with our whole family’s full love and support. He is from a family of eight, as well, but was raised in a very strict Roman Catholic, military upbringing. He has had 3 open-heart surgeries since childhood, one of which went horribly wrong resulting in his left leg being amputated. The children are very close with him and consider him their dad by all accounts. He works 2 jobs to support us. He most definitely has a huge personality that does everything in extremes of black and white with no nonsense logic. Monica, 16, is quite and qwerky. She loves to write and is an avid reader but still struggles in school. She is easy to get along with a rarely talks back to me but does everything in this world at her own very slow pace. Idalis, 16, is… well…DRAMA! She is an exemplar student athlete that is extremely hardworking and dedicated to the things she loves. I’m sure that one of her favorite past times is arguing about just about anything. Dawn, 15, is super sweet and gets along with just about everyone. She almost never fights with the other kids but gets frustrated quickly and is almost comical when she’s mad. Maria, 14, is severely multiply impaired. She is blind and mostly non-verbal. She is a character all the way around with a huge personality. She’s as feisty as she is cute. She loves to dance and swim. Tony, 14, is very smart and laid back. He likes to hold long conversations and always has a hypothetical question to be discussed. He is a magnetic personality and has many friends. Theresa is 13 and acts every bit of it. She bickers with just about all the kids but acts like a perfect angel in front of Sel and I. Although she still stutters a little bit when talking she sings very well. Music is her outlet of choice. Diego, 12, gets just about everyone in the house in some hysteria. He is an all-around phenomenal athlete and student. He is a little businessman in the making often bickering with me at the store for undercharging and not paying close enough attention to cost. This kid can cuddle and sweet talk the mad out of anyone! Ramiro, 10, has pretty severe ADHD but is just funny all the way around. He says the most random things. He loves to make costumes and inventions out of cardboard boxes and other recyclables. He pretty much stays in trouble for any number of things.Our life is very full and fast-paced. We are very deep rooted in faith so we will always be successful and blessed. People tell me all the time that we need a reality show so this is my attempt at getting us one. So basically that’s my immediate family, but we have a big family overall that is just crazy and dramatic. My aunts talk about eah other like crazy and are always feuding about even the most trivial things in the world such as who’s throwing the christmas party and who has the biggest ham. One of my cousin’s is a pastor and he got a divorce and it was the talk of the family. My Grandma is crazy and very show-offish she swears she’s still like 20 years old so she wears tight clothes. My Grandma and my mother are just building up a relationship again after my granmother gave my mom up to our great-grandmother who we called granny (she passed away) because of my grandmother’s struggle with drugs. My mom was a teen mom so she holds on to me really tight and is really strict with me I think because she doesn’t want me to make te same mistaks. We all look exactly alike believe it or not , its kinda scary .But my mom takes care of all of us by herself . We are very popular where we live People are always like ”OMG, you guys are so pretty and all you guys sing ,dance all of yall look alike and no brothers???” … etc ) If we had a dime everytime someone said that to us we would be rich. Anyway we moved for years ago because it was way to much problems.My grandma couldn’t get along with my mom and us .We lived in a small apartment with her my cousin and my aunt. My dad lived with his mom , he didn’t help my mom out at all.However we have so much fun together.We all sing , dance , act , create works of art , model , write music, comedians.We all have different talents including mom , she sings and writes books and spoken word and when those all combine in one house its the most hilarious, crazy,amazing , cute , just a celebration everyday.However, we do get into it every once in a while.We all bud heads sometimes but it makes us closer and stronger. We do argue a lot only because of our very different personalities.Like the oldest , Isia , is goofy but a very smart and likes to sneak and eat someones food when not looking but she plays the drums, raps and dances so amazing , then its me Epiphany ,I am quiet , I sing , draw , write music, and I’ m a hot -head , i don’t like to talk to people sometimes because I like to be by myself thinking, i guess I can say I am mean to everyone , I also play guitar and piano.Then its Eden the one who likes to party , talk a whole lot,rather annoying I would say , dresses crazy with different color hair ,she also sings, raps and dances.Her childhood nickname was bigmouth, which I still agree with.Then its Angel the one is mellow ,she kinda fallows behind Eden ,and also a hot head at moments. THEN its Trinity …. omg …. She is the most cutest , sweet ,quiet ,super super super , hilarious one out of all of us , she likes to sing and draw and design clothes , she’s like a little fairy tale monster .. monster because she can be veryyyy winy , and annoying when she doesn’t get something her way .And she yells very obnoxiously when she mad. I am Italian, and am hopefully going to be picked to go on the Italian exchange for my school. Animals are my life. I have two dogs, and a hedgehog, and volunteer at local animal shelters when I can. I live at home with my mom and dad, and my sister who is 21 comes home on the holidays. I love to travel, when I get older I am wanting to move to either London or Itally. My family is one of those loud Italian families with all the drama. My grandma is straight born from Italt and all of her side of the family is like the loud family with all the drama. And then you have my dads side of the family who is like from the Italian Mafia with the leather jackets and Gold chains, and talking like “Ay yo! we are here” everyone looks when they walk in the room. Ladislao VeraAbout us: Dad-Ladislao Vera- age 37 Mom-Nora Vera – age 41 Son- Jamie salas – age 23 Sons girlfriend- Cindy Serrano – age 21 Son- Ladislao Vera jr – age 14 Son -Noel Vera – age 11 Our family is sometimes VERY funny, fun, crazy, and most of all very Dramatic. Starting with Noel. He is mean and rude with someone mess with him, he is vey honest. One time he got so angry because we had a party at our house and Ladislao didn’t want to let him in his room. So he got very crazy and started Ripping the paper one his door and his girl cousins started to cry and hiding from him because it was like a Michael Myers movie. Noel and Ladislao started to fight and everyone was Scared. There was a party at there Grandma house Noel was braking down the door that Ladislao was In because Ladislao locked his iPod and Noel wanted the password. So they got to another fight there. He use to get in a lot of Trouble in school, for fighting, talking back to the teachers, and drawing on desks. Now Ladislao Vera jr, he is smart , knows how to fix, clean any computer and phones. He got into one fight so far in the 6th grade( in our backyard). He Usually starts all the drama in the family. He is a very Smart Alec. He love going to places. Very dramatic , makes the family sometimes laugh. Only mean and rude to his brother Noel and to people he dont like ( he dont like his aunt, grandma, and cousin). He don’t like his aunt because when were at a hotel for a party, she talk to his dad(my Husband) and she told him why is he with me(His wife) and why I don’t let him do what he wants and she also said that I don’t help him work. So ladislao Vera jr, Jamie salas , and Cindy Serrano don’t like her. Ladislao Vera wanted to tell her stuff and tell her husband the samething. He don’t like his grandma because she keeps on asking him why he delete his cousins on Facebook, and he didn’t. So he is really going to do it to all his facebooks accounts , and next time she tells him, he is going to say ” why do you care? , why do you want to know?, I don’t think it’s any of your Business.”. He don’t like one of his cousin because they had a fight on Facebook for no Reason. His cousin was trying to talk to Ladislao and he said happy birthday to him on his birthday and trying to hangout with Ladislao. But when Ladislao gets in a fight with someone he will never forgive them or talk to them. The only Reason he forgives Noel because they have to live with each other. He love to scar people and prank them almost everyday. He don’t like to play video games. Now Cindy Serrano , she is Jamie salas girlfriend they been together for 3 years now they get into a lot of fight. She is so Strict about her sister and her diet . She mostly go out to the clubs because she just turned 21. She lived with Jamie with they live in the Basement of our house. Her moms house was a block down. They moved out to an Apartment in east Chicago. She only lived there for a couple of months with him there. But she got scare because there are shooting there and one time when she was at the gas station and her friend went inside gas station, she said that there was some guy trying to brake into the car that she was in. So got so scared that she left her friend there and she drove off. So now she live with her sister in her grandpas house. She wanted to Cuss out Ladislao aunt about saying that stuff. But she didn’t because I told not to. She is very nice she to everyone. Now Jamie salas , he has a good job. He is nice everyone unless they tick him off. The whole family loves him the most. He don’t love to go to party’s in the family. He gets very mad when someone is doing something to me( his mom), his dad , his brothers, and his girlfriend. He use to keep on saying to Ladislao If his cousin messes with him , he told him to fight him and don’t care what anybody in the family says. He sleeps in the day and go out ANYWHERE at the night. One time he was sleep walking he got up in his underwear’s and walk to Cindy’s house to go pick her up( this was when they live in the Basement). Cindy was so Embarrassed that she told him to hurry up to get to the our house. They took the ally’s for no one could see him in his underwear’s. he once had a Seizure( this was before him and Cindy were together) there was no one home Except Ladislao and Noel. They were SO scared that they didn’t know what to do. Ladislao called the next door Neighbor and she told Ladislao to call 911 and he didn’t know what to do at this time so he gave the neighbor the phone. Once me and my husband Arrived we were scared that we didn’t know what happen. So we rushed inside the house. Jamie had it because he worked to much and didn’t eat a lot. Now me Nora Vera, when I was little I was mean and a bully, but now I am I help everyone in my family. I do a lot of cleaning , going out with my aunt and mom , I sometimes don’t talk to my sisters. I get angry and mad when my sons don’t listen. I mostly run Errands. The only time I don’t something fun is when there is a party. I love my family but sometimes I don’t talk to tell. I plan Vacation for my family when the kids are out of school for brakes. Now Ladislao Vera ( the dad), he works , he mostly go out with his friends from work. He loves to spend money , something more then Ladislao Vera jr. He Speaks spainsh , he know some English and he is learning more. He bother Jamie salas when he needs something or when he is mad at him for some reason. He gets very Frustrated when he is fixing something. Now what we do has a family , when we are on vacation we go to California, six flags, Circus, Carnivals, Inmans, key lime cove , coco key, and Mexico. Those are the places we go on vacations . JulieI think as a nation a good amount of us regular folks are really tired of seeing the outlandish, rebellious, and selfish rule the airways. How about putting a real family on TV. One that lives a real life and doesn’t sell itself out to every fad or show that comes along. There are a lot of families out there that have a deep belief system, one of honor, courage, and commitment to each other and to God. A family that does not “sell it’s soul” to the devil for a few seasons of fame. People need real answers to their problems, not drama, back-stabbing, and smutty speech. Our country would benefit from some positive TV choices that really give honorable people, young and old alike held up as an example. We are really tired of the downward spiral Hollywood is on. Triston 14 year old rapper, singer, dancer, actor, songwriter is always on the go tearing the family into what many call team triston and team Trevon. Trevon my 13 year old son feels left out and thriving for my attention as all my time goes to my eldest son and his music career. Jealousy and rivalry flames in the coleman house the drama goes from triston being the center of attention to I don’t have time for my husband and his needs. With financial problems to every day drama the family struggles to stay above water helping there talent son become a major star. Arguing and fighting drama keeps the family alive but with emotional ties and strong devotion and love the Coleman’s seem to always pull through any obstacle. Next up in the family is my brother Teddy, he’s 14, MOODY and like football. Then my sister Emily, who’s 17, once again MOODY and artsy. Finally there’s my mom Donna. My dad Ted lives with my Uncle John, we see him 1ce in the school week and every other weekend. He isn’t very helpful with giving my mom money and stuff for us kids…. JoannaFamily Drama, is just the beginning of it. Lets start off with a family that just happens to live, and run a family business in the same city as their last name. We have 5 major characters, 3 brothers that run a business, that is suppose to be an equal partnership but it far from it cause of the FAMILY drama. The 4th Brother who is one of the oldest, works for the 3 in the business and is the one that gets the worst treatment from all the brothers. the 5th Brothers who happens to be in jail and is consistently calling the business to have the 4th brother handles his personal things, including his Crazy out of control wife , hence the reason #5 is in jail. Then there are the twins, the Mother and the Aunt of all the boys who are in their 80’s and visit the business almost regularly to have #4 handle all of their personal business and other drama, including and not limited to the Patriot of the family who just happens to be in a nursing home..I’m starting to think he’s there just to get away from all the Family Drama. then there is me, who just happens to be related only by dating the crazy wife’s cousin and ended up working by chance with out even ever knowing that they were all related. DebraI adopt children out of the foster care system who many people would consider to be “lost causes”. No one else will take these kids because of their severe behavior problems. I don’t want a reality series for the “fame and fortune”. I want a reality series to educate the public about what it is like for these children who have been so abused and neglected, and the families who adopt them. The children I adopt could be considered “throw away” children. These are the children who would have probably ended up aging out of the foster care system or be in a locked facility. My philosophy is that no child is a lost cause until the prison door slams. I am giving these children a chance at a normal life. The question becomes, will they take the opportunity I’m giving them or will they continue on their self-destructive path?I currently have 8 children in my home. One of them is a 12 year old girl who is not a foster child, but would be considered a “private placement”. I have taken her into my home because she has become a danger to the other members of her family. She has put razor blades in her sister’s shoes and has tortured her sister for the express purpose of making her commit suicide. Her plan was then to move on to her brother. She is what I would classify as a “budding sociopath”, however that can’t be officially “diagnosed” until she is 18. She has the face of an angel and butter won’t melt in her mouth when she turns on the charm. However, when she is recounting what she has done to her family she shows no emotion and has no empathy. She says it with the same emotion one would have if they were reading items off a grocery list.I also have a 13 year old I have adopted that has been in and out of foster care since he was 2 days old. He suffered horrific sexual abuse from the ages of 2-8. Before he came to me the paperwork was being filled out to send him to a Residential Treatment Facility. When I first got him he was throwing screw drivers at my head, biting me, putting knives in another boy’s bed to “get even” with him, threatening to kill everyone in the house while they were sleeping, and destroying property. I have had him in my home for nearly two years and while he has shown dramatic improvement (i.e. no more physical assaults or property destruction), he can still be a dangerous if he is not continuously supervised.Above are just two of the children I have in my home. I used to be a foster care supervisor in Nebraska, however, I quit that position so I could be home with my kids 24/7. Currently I run a judgment enforcement business out of my home. This way I can be available to my kids at all times and make sure they make it to their therapy appointments and get all the treatment they need. I basically run my home like a “group home” with very strict structure and a no nonsense attitude. In addition, other parents will send their kids to my home for either a few days or a few weeks if they need a “behavioral intervention” or an attitude adjustment.Another reason I would like this reality series is due to the fact that you don’t hear a lot from adoptive parents regarding the behavior problems of children they have adopted. I feel this is largely due to society’s belief that once the child is adopted it is a magical moment and everyone lives happily ever after. Also people think that if a child has behaviors it MUST be something the adoptive parents are doing wrong, such as not giving them the same amount of love they give their “real” children. This is so far from the truth. Some of these children are so damaged by the time they are adopted it takes literally years of intensive therapy to get them on the right track. As I said previously, I have 8 children in my home and between all of them I take kids to around 20 therapy sessions a week.Many of these kids can be turned around, but it is a daily and sometimes hourly struggle to keep them on the right path and off of a path that will lead straight to jail, or death. Again, I would like to have a reality series to educate the public about these kinds of kids. My feeling is that no child is a lost cause until that prison door closes. 0 Reply July 28, 2012

But now im going into the 11th grade in August at Munford High school in west tennessee. and my step dad(Dan) has been in the military for 16 years now. his ranking is pretty good i think hes an E-8 (chief in the navy).. and sorry for the back tracking again.. but im going to talk about my real dad.. The first time i saw him i was in 3rd grade.. he has 4 kids including me.
