Victoria PeguesHello, my name is Victoria Pegues and I am an African American 12 year old girl (I will be turning 13 in September). I am 5’2 and I have shoulder length brown hair. I have had very positive experience with the acting field. Summer 2014 I attended Drama Kids, a weekly class where we learned the basics and put on a play called “Pirates”. Last school year I attended beginning theatre. During this course we attended 2 theatre tournaments where I participated in 3 events at both competitions. During the first tournament I won 1 first place trophe for duet pantomime, but during the second I won 3 trophes. One 1st place trophy for TV commercial, a 3rd place trophy for duet pantomime, and a 4th place trophy for storytelling. All trophies I won were for humorous events. Our class also put on a one act play called “Superheroes: With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility.” It was a successful play, but set, costumes, and props were minimal and I was ready for something bigger. That was when I decided to audition for advanced theatre. I auditioned with a dramatic script knowing that my teacher had only seen me perform humorous roles. I was accepted into advanced theatre which was a huge advantage. By skipping Intermediate Theatre I get to experience upper level theatre through my next two years of middle school. I love the good feeling you get from entertaining people and acting is the best way to do it. I am very serious about theatre and I would love to star in a Disney movie such as this one.
