Draft Day – Movie CastingIt has become a annual right of passage for football fans around the world. I have a strong chin and slightly bushy eyebrows but I like them. lol Quite a bit of people have told me that I like look Joaquin Phoenix. I guess that can be a good thing. For this particular movie being about the NFL Draft I have also been told that I look Joe Flacco. Not sure if I like though. lol I’m a die hard 49ers fan so, Joe Flacco isn’t really my favorite person right now. I also play football a lot and I’m good at playing quarterback and catching passes. I know first hand what it takes to make it to the next level as well as what goes in through the head of the althetes entering the NFL draft. I’ve been through the training process and as well as the interviews that go along with it. I can give a great insight on what it takes and the challenges players go throughout the process. Then it happened: my beautiful twentysomething daughter — who inherited my Packer mania and NFL affinity to the point that she’s been dubbed the next Skip Bayless — decided we should check out the hoopla firsthand. That was in 2007, and ever since, the two of us have taken 3 days’ work leave (usually unpaid) simply to stand in line 2-3 times, wear our Packer regalia, and soak up every nuance of this great event. We’ve become experts. Ask us anything. But before you do, for God’s sake CAST ME IN THE MOVIE! If ever there were professional NFL Draft Attendees, that would have to be me/us. Besides, I appeared in an episode of AMERICA’S MOST WANTED and have been on the tech side of entertainment world my entire career — what more could you ask for? To beat all, just last night a departing agent gave us his VIP seats, and apparently the cameras loved us. We were all over ESPN – sez my friends. Next stop: Mr Costner’s movie.
