It’s always been a dream of mine to be on Disney Channel, and around age 9, I started to try and make that happen. I took acting lessons for several years and participated in plays and camps with a local acting troup. I took a few singing lessons, and participated in my eighth grade choir. I also took piano for quite a few years, and learned to read music. I’ve been in spanish classes since first grade, so I can read it fluently, and my pronunciation is decent. Once I hit 8th grade, I realized that I would never get anywhere with my acting career if I couldnt dance, so I took a technique class, and a character dance class for a year. I worked my butt off: stretching everyday, practicing constantly, and today (two years later) I have a spot on the senior competition team of my studio. I know that Im not the worlds best performing artist, but I know I have alot of potential, and knowing that there is someone out there who is better only makes me try harder. I want to make a difference in the world, and this could be my shot. For me, Disney Channel isn’t my claim to fame, I see a bigger picture; Disney is a huge influence on tomorrows generation.
