Marjorie GastHello there! My name is Marjorie Gast but I also go by Maggie sometimes. I am a 16 years old, but am told constantly that I look much more mature than a Junior in highschool. I am homeschooled and that has really helped me focus on what I am so very passionate about: Theatre, musical theatre, dance, piano, voice, and harp. When I hit the stage I feel an overwhealming sensation of strength, and even though sometimes it can be a bit nerve wracking, when I become that character I’m portraying I feel fearless. Being a pianist and harpist has taught me how to express emotion without words, then when I began theatre it gave me another outlet to express myself. Living with parents who are both voice teachers, I have two live-in coaches (so to speak) and that has given me much confidence. Besides theatre/music I enjoy hanging out with my friends (what teen doesn’t?) and love doing crafty projects like making earrings or necklaces. LaurenHiya I’m Lauren Gaule I’m 5’4 and I have grey eyes. My hair is long and dirty blonde. I am 103 lbs. I am thirteen years old I love to hang out with my friends, draw and paint, listen to music, ride horses, and dance. I also have been taking Spanish classes for eight years and speak it fluently. When I dance, I am free. I feel like nothing is holding me back, and along with the music, I feel inspired. Also when I dance, the dance studio feels so magical, as if it could become my own world where I can become anything I want to be. I feel a deeper meaning to my life while I dance, and I feel an overwhelming inspiration that causes me to think I might explode if I didn’t keep dancing. It connects me to my soul because I feel that before I started dance, there was an empty void that stopped me from fully expressing who I am as a person. I’ve been dancing for four years, and my favorite style is acro because it’s like flying when I’m doing flips. I dance for about nine hours a week; hip hop, core strengthening, yoga, lyrical, ballet, pointe, leaps/turns class, acro,, and jazz. For fun, I also like to go to an open gym to practice flips, handstands, elbow stands, and all of my favorite dance moves. Charlotte MorganMy name is Charlotte Morgan and I’m eighteen years old. I’m living in Traverse City, Michigan now before going to the New York Film Academy for acting. Acting is something I’ve always been passionate for although I’ve done my share of swapping back and forth between acting, modeling, singing, directing, and editing. I opened what I called my small “film company” when I was thirteen and did many small productions. I was a figure skater for five or six years where I performed in the show Annie and Greece on ice as well as competed in many competitions. Figure skating taught me how to perform in front of a crowd and not to be stage fright or anything. It gave me confidence. I modeled for two or three years and was able to meet a bunch of really cool people like being able to work with Bruce Dale of National Geographic. I quit film making and acting when I started traveling the country to play a competitive card game called Magic: The Gathering. Thanks to Magic I was exposed to another world and able to gain maturity and learn a lot as it’s one of most complicated (if not most) games in the world.
