TinaLiving in Toronto, I always see the set for Beauty and the Beast around the city. I eventually started watching the show and couldn’t help to think that it would be fun to be experience what’s it like to be on set. They have always stuck to the Asian stereotypes of wanting me to become a doctor, lawyer or dentist. Of course they admit, it would be amazing if I could someday find myself in Hollywood, but they always say, why take the risk if you could be assured to have a job with a steady income waiting for you? My answer has always been that life is short and there isn’t a purpose if you stick to a path someone else has designed for you. I have been raised in a community where people tell you to follow your dreams even though most of the time, it won’t come true. I think it was in elementary school that I got my 1st taste of acting. It was in my class’ Christmas play ‘The Polar Express”. I Guess something that my teacher, taught us got instilled in me thats why acting and performing is one of my passion. It made me do want to learn more bout acting and performing. So did my research and improved my skills. But something happened that I never thought would happen we moved back to Grenada to live. Where I went to high school. It turns out it was for the better. I join the school choir where we passed 2nd place in an island wide competition. But it didn’t stop there, so I took part in an inner school dance competition where my team lead by me came 2nd. I also took place in a play bout teen pregnancy. After leaving Choir to join the drama club where I was picked to be the assistant drama teacher, for two years this happened. I also took part in the play we had put on. Then It happened high school was over and I got the award for drama. Then I was sent back to go to college and follow my dreams. But I took off a year and while working two jobs, I was a volunteer teacher and our end of year play was Beauty and the Beast where we got reviews in newspapers. I also took place in plays will my youth group at church as well. As you can see from my little bout myself that acting is one of my passion and I love it. But being on this show will make my dreams. I love this show. Ever since I hear that they were remake show I was so happy. I have watched ever episode for the first season. I will much appreciate a part in this show.
