Brittany ColemanHi,I am 22 years old graduated from Capital University last year with two degrees, one in criminology, and the other in sociology. I never in my life imagined I would even be considering trying this, but if there’s one thing I’ve learned from my life experiences it’s that if you do not try you’ll never succeed. Why would I like to take part in this experience? There are several different answers to that question. For one, it is not something I ever thought I would be able to do, see I do not posses the typical characteristics of a model; I am 5’6 and built like an athlete. All through school girls have always called me fat because I wasn’t 100lbs like they were. I’ve struggled so much with my self-esteem, but I’ve come to realize that it isn’t what one looks like on the outside that matters, but what’s on the inside that truly portrays an individual’s beauty. Another, reason I would like to be given the honor to appear on this show is because I am a huge fan. I’ve been watching ANTM for as long as I can recall; wishing and hoping maybe one day it could be me competing. The main reason I would like to be given the chance to take part in this competition though is because it is something I have always dreamed of. However, I’ve never really done what I have wanted to do in life. I have always done what was expected of me. I would love to be given this opportunity to try to fulfill not the dreams of my parents, but my dreams. The next question is, why would I rather than any of these other girls deserve to be given this chance? I’ve never been one to brag on myself, but there is no time like the present to do so. I am a young, mature, educated, driven, giving, Godly woman. When I do something I give it everything I got. My goal for myself has always been to be the best I could be. I’ve done so much for others’, from volunteer reading to small children, to sacrificing things I wanted to achieve in order to make others happy. I am a 6’4” 210 physically fit, athletic male that is willing and able to make it in this line of work, but since I love to model I don’t find it as a “job” or “work”. During those college nights when people are partying and staying up late, I sit down and watch all the episodes and seasons of ANTM. I am obsessed. I want to go to Medical school but I know deep inside there is a model that needs to get out and learn from the best models out there such as Tyra. I look up to her because she is an Icon. Jayme Lynn HastingI would love this opportunity more than I can express!! I have red hair and I’ve always been really skinny so growing up was really hard, especially in high school! I was bullied a bit and picked on for the way I looked. I always wanted to try modeling, but my family could never afford the expense it carries when trying to make it from scratch! I don’t know a whole lot about fashion as I have never been able to afford the latest fashions, but I do occasionally window shop and dream! I want to be a good influence to teens and young women as well. A role model. There is a lot of bullying going on and I want to show them that you can get through it and that they WILL be okay. Keep going and don’t give up on your dreams! I am 24 years old, but get told daily I look 17! Maybe it’s the pale white skin! Lol!
