Bits & Pieces – The Disney Channel

Attention all aspiring performers and Disney Channel fans. A new pilot from the world’s favorite family network has been ordered and with it comes an amazing opportunity to be part of the next big Disney Channel hit. Casting calls and auditions for the all new family comedy Bits & Pieces will be going on soon for roles of all sizes.

Bits & Pieces is planning to take the traditional multi-camera comedy structure and turn it on it’s head. This new series will focus on a “Brady Bunch type” scenario where Pete, a jovial high school basketball coach with two children, marries the kind hearted school psychologist Jodie who has two kids of her own and a new and sometimes complicated family dynamic is born with hilarious and heartwarming results. The audience will be led each week through these new family adventures by teenage daughter Alanna as she recounts every moment in a series of fantastically funny vignettes with the help of her brother Sticky and step siblings Crystal and Brody. These vignettes will be a deconstruction of the traditional family sitcom as they use quick and hilarious scenes to spotlight the funny family experiences, the Bits & Pieces of this brand new brood. This is the most excitingly original Disney project ever and it is sure to be watched by millions each week as America and the world falls in love the Bits & Pieces clan and becomes glued to the journey of this example of the new family dynamic. I was raised by a single mother and although I don’t live in the best neighborhood I believe I came out pretty well. I am a black American, I just turned 13 years old, I love to sing and act. I’ve been in about a hundred different plays and I was always given beyond positive reviews. I want to change the way people think, not just about women but about them all in general. I get good grades in school and now I am going to 8th grade. I love Disney with a passion and all it’s shows because its given relatively situations that can happen in real life and how to solve them.     Hello! I’m Josie, a thirteen year old girl with a strong passion for the arts. I just love to put on an entirely different face and be someone else for a while. (even though it annoys my friends, because I have about ten billion different “personalities” right now.) My mom has been addicted to Heroin since 2005. I have been going through this since i was 11 yrs old. My grandmother is an alcoholic and has always been one since my mom was 12. My family is pretty crazy. My grandmother went to prison for embezzlement twice. The first time she did it she had my uncle and fled the country to Switzerland. The second time she did it when she was on probation.The vineland police department all know my family not for a good reason but because they are always at my grandmothers house for stupid reasons. That was before i was born. My grandfather is a gambling addict. as you can see i come from a family where addiction comes easily. My dad and me didn’t really get along,my step-mom liked to control everything and she even controlled me and he wasn’t really a father. I have a little brother 15 yrs old. He lives with his dad and i have a little sister she is 4 yrs old. she lives with her grandparents in the Poconos. Everyone in my family has or had an addiction but me. They have all been arrested and been to jail or prison. My uncles has been to prison for drug dealing back in 2005. I know from my family it sounds like i would end up just like them but i DON’T WANT TO END UP LIKE THEM. Ever since a little kid i have always wanted to be an actor and model live my dreams in Hollywood. My friends would always tell me you look like an AMERICAN EAGLE model i would laugh at it then i noticed more people telling me i look like a model wit my poses and just things i did naturally. my dad and step mom would never let me go to auditions because they didn’t think i could make it. I have always had people tell me to “just forget it and give up you aint gonna make it”. I never let them get to me because i was not going to let my past and not going to let where i come from stop me to live my dreams. I look at Selena Gomez as an excellent role model. She is a perfect example of no matter where you come from and no matter what you want to be you CAN live your dreams. I feel like i am the black sheep in my family. Even after everything i have been through i have always had the ambition to and the strive for SUCCESS. I want this more than anything to live my dreams make a better life for me and my younger siblings.I have a big heart for people and always trying to help others. I know i can do it i have the work ethic for it. Unlike most teens that are out partying and drinking i am trying to focus on my career. I have a little bit of a late start because i couldn’t do acting or modeling as a kid but that just means i have to work even harder. I just feel like i need someone to help me get there. I would really like to share my story with you i do not want to be like my family i want to go far in life.Coming from Vineland N.J. you don’t hear that a lot of kids coming from here going after their dreams. i live the next town over where the famous baseball player MIKE TROUT used to live. Looking at him is a great inspiration for me because for him to go from MILLVILLE, N.J. to famous baseball player that is incredible. That shows don’t let where you come from define who you are. I would really like to meet producers and agents to get my career started.I will do whatever i have to to make sure i do not end up like the rest of my family and like how everyone said “he’s gonna be just like his mom a drug addict” i do not want that for my life. My maturity is beyond my years. I am going to prove everyone that ever doughted me and said i couldn’t do it. It is weird but i feel like god did not want me to be like my family and has a better plan for me. I want this more than anything! I also want to be a great role model for kids and teens to show them you can be whatever you want no matter where you come from or what people say to tear you from your dreams.     hey hey hey I am Shayla and I am 12 turning 13 in july i would LOVE LOVE LOVE to be a part of this wonderful opportunity to show my passion in acting. When I was like 1i talked and talked and talked. When I was three my grandma who I call baba was watching her soap operas and I started to mimmic them after she wached them 100 times. Later down the road I did all of sceanes that was on tv I was quite the lil actress if I do say so my self. Baba said I should get in to acting school. When I was 5-6 I hit a shi streak so I became more shy but still talkative but around 7 or 8 I was back to blabber mouth me wich is a good thing consiconsidering my exseptional talent known as acting. Over the years I have had experience like in first grade I was the little girl on Charlottes web and totaly rocked it then I did a few mre plays like in fifth grade r u smarter than a fifth grader and a bunch more then I got in to Wednesday classes at take 2 performers studio and the offered me to go to the I.M.T.A. but my mom thought I was to young but I would beg to differ on that logic and so I didnt go mom kinda won but this is my opertunity to be what I wanted to be for like FOREVER and shine. I am a 4’8 and have not to short not to long brownish auborn hair, kinda tan skin depending on how much sun I get, I have a funny wierd and wakey personality just like my outfits, I can do numerous accents, I love makeup and
