X-Men:Days Of Future Past Starring Jennifer Lawrence

I don’t really have any prior acting experience, but I have been performing in front of crowds since I was six years old, playing various sports. Ever since I was little I’ve always had this dream of becoming an actress. I would act out scenarios in front of anyone who was willing to watch. I fell in love with movies and their stories. I fell in love with the idea of portraying a character and becoming different people. I didn’t just fall in love with film itself, but rather I fell in love with everything about film. I’ve wanted so badly to be apart of it ever since I can remember. But once I entered high school, I kind of put this notion out of my head being as I never thought I could make it nor had I any experience whatsoever. But as the pressure of graduating and finding the right college and deciding what I want to do with my life is being forced upon me, all I can think about is what I really want and what I’ve always wanted, and none of it has anything to do with filling out college applications. I want to hold a script in my hands and stay up late at night memorizing lines. I want a director in front of me telling me I said that wrong, or to try it differently. I want to take someone’s character as they appear on paper and give them life. I want the chance to be someone new every time I go to work. I want to be an actress. Plain and simple. I’m scared that I’ve waited too long diminishing and hiding my dream that I’ve lost my chance. I’m scared that I’ll never get to experience what it’s like to be apart of something so spectacular as film is to me. I’m scared that I’m going to go off to college, get a job, and live this life that I do not want. I’m scared that being scared ruined my chance to fulfill my dream, and therefore ruined my chance of happiness. It took a lot of things to make me realize just how important this industry is to me. And it took even more to give me the courage to go for my dream. I know I’m inexperienced, but that doesn’t mean I’m not capable of performing. Besides, you have to start somewhere right? So why not here? Why not now? I want this so bad, and I’m willing to fight for it and work harder at it than anything I’ve ever worked for my entire life. I learn fast, I can take directions, and I can work well with others. I’ve been playing on sports teams all my life and they have taught me all of those things, and many more that could really attribute to working as an actress. Acting is an art, a talent.     I live in the Uk but am half American and can do the accent as well as an array of others, having lived in Islington London with high ethnic diversity and grown up in Hong Kong
    have had no acting experience yet but am physically fit- have played semi professional rugby- trained consistently in MMA in – have been employed as a part time bouncer. The latter required the ability to jokingly calm down nutcases more often than not
    Moreover I have the anomaly of being mentally determined in academic pursuits; I have conditional university offers from oxford and Durham respectivly to study History and am capable of speaking near fluent Spanish
    I suppose I have inadvertently come across scenarios where acting has become intrinsic to success such as university interviews and the manipulation of people to avoid brawls while bouncing amongst other daily scenarios

    One attribute I do not have is the ability to sell my self over text however, and I can’t help feeling immoral as fuck when I list an array of emotional attributes such I am really funny and hard working. Although I believe that to be true I find that it’s to cheap when describing oneself.

    so instead id prefer to tell a joke that i genuinely made up because frankly I’m funny as fuck

I’ve been having issues with this since I love every subject and could not imagine myself just focusing one.     My name is Anthony Abbriano. I have always been a huge Marvel and DC comic fan. I have a huge collection and a large understanding of many of the characters. Throughout my College Career as an Education major I have had to speak to large crowds. I have noticed, after three and a half years in the Education program that I have no fear of speaking in front of anyone. This characteristic is a huge trait that actors need to have. If an actor fears his audience then his/her performance will suffer drastically. I, however, am able to connect to the crowd and present myself in a way that my audience will relate to. My stage presence is very strong. With a strong stage presence I able to capture the audiences attention and speak articulately. Stage Presence in combination with Public Speaking skills allows the actor to temporarily become the character they are playing, maintain stability , and continue to impress the audience. Now, some may question how this makes me suitable for a part in a movie. The most important characteristic that I have is the ability to tell a story and make it seem as though it was a once in a lifetime experience. Growing up with an Italian family, on my fathers side, I have been exposed to great story tellers and amazing body language. As an adult now, i have developed an unconscious usage of animated dialogue. This type of dialogue is important because it allows me to completely commit myself to the story and express my feelings with the subtlest of movements. All-in-all I had decided that an Acting Audition was one of the few things on my “Bucket List” and would like to try my hand at acting if given the chance.
