I have been the Master of Ceremonies for the Grand River Hospital Dialysis Christmas party for 2 yrs., and it came natural for me to be standing in front of everybody chatting. I was told by many people that speaking in public is my “calling.” I LOVE to make people smile and put JOY in their hearts. I find it thrilling and exciting to meet people and to be around children as well—a passion and great love of mine. Just recently, as of June 2015, I was an extra in the movie series: 11/22/63 starring James Franco. I was a mill worker from the 1960’s. It was a great experience for me, and I loved it. Meeting people was certainly one of my highlights, and meeting all sorts of different personalities. I was told by many people that speaking in public is my “calling.” I LOVE to make people smile and put JOY in their hearts. I find it thrilling and exciting to meet people and to be around children as well—a passion and great love of mine. Just recently, as of June 2015, I was an extra in the movie series: 11/22/63 starring James Franco. I was a mill worker from the 1960’s. It was a great experience for me, and I loved it. Meeting people was certainly one of my highlights, and meeting all sorts of different personalities. However, I would like to venture into film, television, comedy, voice-over, animation and live theatre since I feel that is my “calling.” I have attached some photos of myself for you, and you can also check out my website for further photos at http://www.nuttycherylnevin.webs.com. The Drama video carried a totally different more subdued serious element which I hope you were able to perceive. None of the videos were scripted and I made it up as I went along. Although I am new within the entertainment industry, I do believe acting is really all about listening, then reacting. I know I have much to learn about the entertainment business and I am more than eager and enthusiastic to learn. Coming up this week, I will be performing on stage LIVE not DEAD at the Cambridge Galt Grandfest Talent Show event on Saturady, August 8, 2015, and my stage name is Kooky Nutty Nevin. There will be FREE family fun entertainment events throughout the day–tribute bands, Karaoke, beer garden and sidewalk sale from 12:00 until 11:00 pm. The Talent Show competition starts at 2:30 pm. I don’t know the specific time that I will be performing since the young children go first. If you are in the area, then perhaps you would like to see me perform.
