kaleigh hanniganHi, I’m Kaleigh and I’m 11 years old. Usually, I go on the computer and look for auditions that suit me. I stumbled upon auditions for this show, I was super excited because it seemed interesting. When I first read this article, two things occurred to me, 1. I’ve gotta be on that show, and 2. How do I get on that show? My dream is to be an actress. In fourth grade,I was in my school play, and the thrill of being on stage was great, and I realized I wanted to feel that thrill again. I’m only going into sixth grade, but I’m very smart. I read every night before bed and I got the Presidential Award For Academic Excellence in 5th grade. I also loved to draw, so being on a show based on a drawing game would be great for me. It’s my dream to become an actress because I love inspiring people, and many actresses and actors inspire me to do my best, so I feel good when I return the favor. Although I would LOVE to act in anything, more specifically, I want to be a Disney Channel Actress. Disney actresses inspire people of all ages, from 1 to 101. What better way to start my journey as a Disney channel actress then by being on a Disney show, doing what I love to do the most, while working WITH Disney Channel stars? I learned how to play the drums for a year but then I went to secondary school. I am in year 7 now. I’ve had a few guitar lessons. Which are really funny. I have got a good level in my drama lessons at school and I love to perform so you don’t have to worry about me being shy. I am good at memorising so I won’t be forgetting my lines, most of the time. I have also joined a stage school called theatre train. I love to sing and I’ve been told I have a good voice. I go to the choir at my school and so far I sing the loudest (not shouting and not whispering). I also like to dance. I always dance, most of the time it’s in my room in front of my mirror. I have got a good level in my dance lessons at school and always perform my dances. I love to act, sing and dance. As well as acting, singing and dancing I am also creative and I love to draw I always do it in my free time and I am quite good at it. I also love to bake. I bake once a week at home. I bake cakes, muffins, cookies, brownies, cupcakes, scones, tarts and loads more. They taste delicious (most of the time). I am a creative, adventurous and a sporty person. I love adventures and going outdoors. I also like sports, I do P.E 4 times a week at school and I love it. I go trampolining and athletics after school and go to swimming lessons on Friday (not at school). I like to keep myself fit. In my primary school I did lot of sports, netball, football, gymnastics and a couple more. Overall I love to act, sing, dance and perform. I am very confident. I would love it if you gave me a chance. I have never been in a Disney movie or show before but I would love to be in one. The movies especially catch my attention because Disney Channel movies always seem to be able to take you away from the world and enjoy leisure time even if it’s just for an hour or two. There’s not really a why I should be picked to audition rather apposed to why I love Disney Channel. With Disney Channel it’s all original, never repeating something old, that’s why kids now are so able to connect themselves to the various shows. Yes, I do love Disney Channel and I don’t really now what I posses as talents as others are so able to establish and recognize their own. My mom has told me I can sing but I don’t trust her judgment since she is my mom. I can agree to disagree with what special qualities some “say” I carry. But Disney Channels always been a place to me where babies, kids, teens, and even adults enjoy what it has on. It has always been able to send a very clear and distinct message by every show or did that whether young or old there is always light in every dark hiding spot.
