Voyage Of The Little Mermaid

Disney Productions is currently holding auditions for full and part time performers in their spectacular live stage show Voyage of the Little Mermaid. This is your chance to be a part of one of the world’s most beloved stories of all time.

Performed daily at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida, this amazing live stage production incorporates all of the wonder, whimsy and amazing songs from the original Little Mermaid animated film to tell an all new story for thousands of people every week! Fresh and energetic vocalists are being sought to round out this amazing production. Open casting calls for the lead role of Ariel as well as a host of others are being held soon in New York City. What an opportunity to be a part of a big budget stage musical show telling one of Disney’s most touching and popular tales.

I have also had over five years of formal dance training in ballet, and I have also had over four years of dance training in a mixture of modern, lyrical, and jazz dance. I have taken drama at my school; portraying emotions and memorizing lines were always my strong points. I have done many unusual sports in the past. I have experience in ice skating, archery, and colorguard/winterguard. Colorguard and winterguard are sports that I have been in for six years or nine seasons. Colorguard is the sport where girls go out on a football field at half time and spin and toss flags, rifles, and sabres into the air with the marching band. Throwing things up into the air and catching them are what I do best. Winterguard is a little different in the fact that it is just the guard that is performing- no marching band- and it’s indoors. Both my colorguard and winterguards compete in nation wide competitions and we perform in front of extremely large crowds. Also this past summer I had the privlage of joining the Music City Drum and Bugle Corps. The only way to describe Drum Corps to those who have never witnessed it is to call it professional marching band. We compete in DCI (Drum Corps International) competitions across the country and preform in front of crowds of thousands of people. The largest crowd I have preformed in front of was over 30,000 people. I also marched in the CMA (Country Music Awards) Parade which was telivized across the nation. Acting has always been a dream of mine, and being apart of the Little Mermaid legacy would be incredible. I am willing to answer any and all questions.
