About “Vikings”

The History original series Vikings transports us to the brutal and mysterious world of Ragnar Lothbrok (played by Travis Fimmel), a Viking warrior and farmer who yearns to explore and raid the distant shores across the ocean. In the first season, his ambition puts him at odds with local chieftain Earl Haraldson, who insists on sending his raiders to the impoverished east rather than the uncharted west. When Ragnar teams up with his boat builder friend Floki to craft a new generation of intrepid ships capable of conquering the rough northern seas, the stage is set for conflict. But for all its warfare and bloodshed, Vikings is also a story of family and brotherhood, capturing the love and affection between Ragnar and his wife, Lagertha a respected warrior in her own right. 2. Helen Saad

    Dear Casting for Vikings,
My name is Helen Saad and I am actually not applying for a position on the cast but would like to offer my abilities as a researcher for Vikings. I am a researcher and I was directed to get in touch with casting to present myself as a candidate for a research position on Vikings. I have a great background in research, with my previous research being in-depth historical research for art history subjects, as well as assisting the Massart Research Librarian and Documentalist, holding position as a the Reference Librarian at the Massart Library, and worked as the assistant teacher for two college level animation courses: Animation 4 and Stop Motion Animation; both of which I taught and was originally offered the jobs based on my research into the subjects. I hope this reaches your head of research and I hope I can be of help to the research that goes into making Vikings the great show it is!

    Sincerely,
    Helen Saad
