The story is unique and it mixes the world of vampires with things a normal teenager could go through. Sometimes I can relate to the characters, and that makes it even more real. The books feel alive and when I read it’s like entering a different world. I always lose myself in them and constantly get stunned by them. Reading the Vampire Academy novels makes me feel a lot of things – sadness, happiness, compassion, longing and every other feeling there is.I have heard about people who loved a book so much they really wanted to be a part of the movie adaptation – and succeeded with it. For long I’ve dreamed about being one of those people, but I’ve never tried hard enough. This time is different. If I had to choose only one movie to participate in, it would be Vampire Academy.How big the part is doesn’t really matter to me. Of course it’d be funnier the bigger the part, but I’d also love to get a smaller part – such as a student at St. Vladimir’s or a girl shopping at the mall. My point is that what I’m after is not to be the big star of this movie, but to achieve the experience of bringing a book I really love to life. I think that if the actors are passionate about the books, they will do a much better job than if they weren’t – because then they want the results to be as good as possible and will work hard to not disappoint anyone. McKenzie Potter-MoenHello! my name is McKenzie and I am 13 almost 14 years old. I have done ballet for 11 years now and have enjoyed it. (Talk about commitment.) In ballet, to give a good show you must tell a story using no words whatsoever and only facial expressions. Of course while also thinking of proper ballet technique. I have been singing my entire life and have talent in that subject. So I can commit for an extremely long time, I can dance and I can sing. And I know ballet doesn’t include any lines but in all my school plays I have had the most lines and ballet improves memory. I.e. I was doing a play about greek mythology, ( I was the narrator and the main character) and I memorized three pages of lines, some as long as paragraphs, in under a week. I have loads of determination and skill and I would be exuberant to even just be a extra. My G.P.A. is a 3.9 and has only gone up form day one. Performing a character and working with others. I get to create a new spontaneous piece. Each play is unique, coming together of a diverse group of talent its the majority of greatness. Every single moment i have always took acting as a business however it is a team being with a group of people and working with one and another. I admire and have so much respect about live theatre, it’s a high wire act there is an element of risk and uncertainty. Each show has its own singular event that will never be exactly duplicated. Each line reading is a chance to make people laugh, make them feel surprise, sad or shock. This is precisely why im interested in acting, films, scripts,plays and writing. I am 166cm tall and my weight is 66kg.I have been taking drama classes for a couple of years and I’ve also participated in two musicals which were both performed on stage. You can also watch me act in an amateur-made movie.Now you wonder why you should choose me? What have I got that no one else has? For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to see myself on screen one day. I’ve also liked for the world to see more Asians in movies and thought that maybe then the racism towards us would decrease. Of course that’s not the only reason. I’ve always loved to act and I’d like to entertain people the way actors entertain me. As for the Vampire Academy novels; I love them. I’ve read all of them and they are my favorite books. When I started to read the first book I soon felt that I really liked it. After that I told my friends about it, read the other books and talked to everyone about them. The story is unique and it mixes the world of vampires with things a normal teenager could go through. Sometimes I can relate to the characters, and that makes it even more real. The books feel alive and when I read it’s like entering a different world. I always lose myself in them and constantly get stunned by them. Reading the Vampire Academy novels makes me feel a lot of things – sadness, happiness, compassion, longing and every other feeling there is.I have heard about people who loved a book so much they really wanted to be a part of the movie adaptation – and succeeded with it. For long I’ve dreamed about being one of those people, but I’ve never tried hard enough. This time is different. Alexandra Lawsonwell i cant say i’m perfect in any way and i’m not going to grovel around to get the part. I accept that there is probably no chance ever that i will get any part but i can at least say i’ve tried. I’m actually more interested in the part of Jill Mastrano. I know this website isnt for the upcoming books/films but obviously there isnt a site up for them yet. i’m not even entirely convinced that this is a real auditioning site but it’s worth a go. I’m not american, as the book is, in fact i live in england and my bloodline is fully english, another reason why i doubt i would be able to get the part, as having non american actors wouldnt really follow the storyline, but i figured that the film is already being filmed in london, not montana ao i may as well try. As for my background in acting? well i dont have much of one. I’m currently in a small drama group that perfomes to a maximum of about 400 people on a good night, i’m not a great singer and i do get a little nervous but i mostly find thw whole experience exhillerating. I have more of a Rose personallity, and i do get shouted at a lot for being reckless but i cant really help it. I really adore the vampire academy books and, even though i highly doubt i’ll get a response from this, i willl go and see every single film. I’m currently fourteen, almost fifteen, and i have dark brown eyes that, when i swim, go green which, i know, is cool but slightly concerning. i’m 5’5 and quite tomboyish normally but i’ll pretty much try anything.
