Vampire Academy: Blood Sisters – Movie

Audiences can not get enough of vampire sagas and now one of the most successful young adult novels of the past decade is getting the big screen treatment. Vampire Academy: Blood Sisters is based on the first entry of the best selling novel series by Richelle Mead and will look to follow in the tremendous footsteps of The Twilight franchise and The Cw’s The Vampire Diaries and it’s spin-off The Originals. Shooting on this incredible new star packed film will be starting soon and casting calls for a number of exciting roles will be following shortly. Aspiring performers can submit themselves today for a shot at auditioning for one of the biggest films of the new year.

Vampire Academy: Blood Sisters tells the story of two best friends – Vasilisa “Lissa” Dragomir (a vampire princess) and Rosemarie “Rose” Hathaway ( a half human, half vampire who is a guardian in training to Lissa) as they return to St. Vladimir”s Academy after running away for two years. The girls begin their training once again while they encounter new friends (and enemies) and try to fend off the frightening Strigoi (the most dangerous and fierce vampires in existence) from making Lissa one of their own forever. This hugely popular story has all of the elements for an amazing film franchise with enthralling moments of romance, friendship, danger and fabulous supernatural elements Vampire Academy: Blood Sisters will be directed by Mark Waters (Mean Girls, The House of Yes, Freaky Friday) from a script adaptation by his brother Daniel Waters (Batman Returns, Heathers, Demolition Man) and will feature an absolutely fabulous cast that so far includes Zoey Deutch (Beautiful Creatures, The Suite Life on Deck, Switched at Birth), Sarah Hyland (Modern Family, Geek Charming, Scary MoVie), Olga Kurylenko (Quantum of Solace, Oblivion, Magic City), Golden Globe nominee Joely Richardson (101 Dalmatians, The Patriot, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) and Golden Globe winner Gabriel Byrne (The Usual Suspects, Enemy of the State, Miller’s Crossing).     My name is Ashley, and I’ve been acting since the age of eight. I sing and play the Piano, and I’m learning to play the guitar at the moment. I’m very outgoing, and I’m planning on majoring in Musical Theater, and then moving out to Hollywood. I’m a Sophomore in High School at the moment, but I have enough credits to graduate as a Junior if needed. I’ve been singing for a very long time, I can barely remember when I started, but I know I had to be atleast 3 or 4 when I was dancing around my house, singing N*Sync, and Backstreet Boys. I easily memorize lines, and recently had a part as Jack Dawkins, better known as the Artful Dodger, in “Oliver!” With our community theater group. I am currently playing Patty Simcox in the Broadway version of “Grease.” I want to go to college to get experience in directing, acting, and filming. I love movies, I always have. I am a server at a really popular restaurant around my way and just having to put that act and change your person is so much fun . I am a happy person but just the fact that when I am having a horrible day , I can go to my table and be the most bubbly person .I hear a lot from my friendd and family that I should act because of how dramatic I can be . 🙂

When I set my mind to something it gets quiet hard for me to stop so I defiantly wouldn’t let you down and would stick with whatever I needed to do to make this movie possible. I have had experience talking in font of an audience, I participated in the Students Against Violence club and presented some of our ideas and information in front of the LMUSD (Lucia Mar Unified School District) annually council meeting.
