Vampire Academy: Blood Sisters – Movie

Audiences can not get enough of vampire sagas and now one of the most successful young adult novels of the past decade is getting the big screen treatment.Ā Vampire Academy: Blood Sisters is based on the first entry of the best selling novel series byĀ Richelle Mead and will look to follow in the tremendous footsteps of The Twilight franchise and The Cw’s The Vampire Diaries and it’s spin-off The Originals. Vampire Academy: Blood Sisters tells the story of two best friends – Vasilisa “Lissa” Dragomir (a vampire princess) andĀ Rosemarie “Rose” Hathaway ( a half human, half vampire who is a guardian in training to Lissa)Ā as they return to St. Vladimir”s Academy after running away for two years. The girls begin their training once again while they encounter new friends (and enemies) and try to fend off the frightening Strigoi (the most dangerous and fierce vampires in existence) from making Lissa one of their own forever.     Why do I want to be part of this movie?:

    Ok, well this isnā€™t exactly going to be one of those ā€œthis is my dream so Iā€™m going to become an actressā€ sort of reason. The thing is, I havenā€™t always wanted to pursue an acting dream. From a young age I would audition for lead roles in plays and productions and I would usually get it, from then on, I started to develop a real passion for going on stage and being with a large audience. As I grew up, I thought, maybe I shouldnā€™t act anymore, because I started to realise that it is really hard to become successful in the acting business so I sort of had a break from it and dreamed of more ā€œrealisticā€ goals/aspirations like becoming a dermatologist or an architect and even an oncologist at one point. (even though Iā€™m not that smart enough become one) I have always had a artsy brain. I guess I was just made to do the arts because I enjoy it and I can do it better than anything else. I can dance, sing and act so I started to find that maybe I should just stick to what I can do and what I enjoy, not something else because itā€™s so much more easier to achieve and more realistic. I still know that its hard to get into, even harder for me because Iā€™m not that blond hair blue eyed girl with long legs and perfect features which is what directors look for in a girl. I know that I will be rejected A LOT but I think that if I keep on trying and not give up after just one shot, I maybe, just maybe could score a role. I am a very persistent person and when I want to achieve something, I will continue to try, even when people are telling me that I canā€™t do it. To be honest, I donā€™t care what people say, because the more people who donā€™t believe in me, the more I want to stand up and become more determined to prove that theyā€™re wrong. I have two parents who both tell me that even if I could be the best actress in the world, I wont ever be successful because Iā€™m not blond hair and blue eyed. I know that I have to accept that that is the truth because it is, but I will still fight because this is what I can do. My parents even told me that If I really wanted to act, I should learn mandarin and get into Hong Kong/Asian movies because I have a much bigger chance of getting in because Hollywood only accepts white people. I want to show the world that anyone of any background can do anything no matter your skin colour or race. I suffer from quite severe anxiety, so when I dance or act, I feel like I can let everything out and turn my emotions into something else. Its strange because I am a very shy person because I am always anxious about everything, but when I get the chance to dance sing or act, I completely open up and become a different person. Every time I act, all my stress and anxiety gets out and I feel so much better afterwards. Acting and dancing are not just hobbies of mine, but a way for me to express my feelings in a new way. Please consider casting me in the Descendants as I can assure you that I will put in all my best efforts from the start to the finish, get the job done, learn from this experience and prove to you that people of all ethnicities and cultures can become successful if they really try, no matter what others think or say.     I know, that I wont be able to have alot freetime during the set and I have no problem with that. I will concentrate thousand percent on my role.

    I have been a huge fan of these books ever since they were first written. I feel I am the perfect person to play Sydney. I am smart, caring, intuitive, and I fit the description of her character. I am able to travel wherever and whenever. I am very outgoing and get along great with anyone. I did some stage acting when I was younger-nothing major, just school plays, but I know how to memorize lines and embody a character. I would be open to any role-I’m not limiting myself to Sydney.
