I’m in the process of signing my first 1-year modeling contract with a plus size label called ManikMag. i feel as if that me being a plus size girl would allow some acceptance to other overweight or plus size girls all around the world. i feel that by putting a girl that different from the “Hollywood’s expectations” would be a risk but eventually make it one of the most watched movies in America just because we are letting girls know its okay to be bigger than the average female, you dont have to starve, cut, or kill yourself because you don’t feel welcomed. because my story is similar to this i feel that i could be an inspiration to plus size girls like Zendaya was to me. when i was in the 7th grade i weight an around 315pds. i wasnt welcomed ANYWHERE. i was constantly made fun of, and not just because of my size but my color too. As sad as it was, my ultimate dream was to die. i was bullied everyday until my 9th grade year, during the summer i was so fed up with people making fun of me, that i knew i had no other choice but to change, so i did. 9th grade year i weighed about 245, i never had a goal weight like other girls have, some have dreams of getting a thigh gap, some have dreams of being able to see their ribs through their back, but my dream? my dream was simple, it was just to become healthy. i want to teach girls that what people say only bother you when you let it. and if you like the way your are PERFECT, but if you dont the only thing you can do is change, and take the easy way unlike i did, i went through so many scaring moments, but its all for the better, God put me through everything i’ve been through to be an influence on someone, and thats what im here to do. whether it be the next person to comment for an audition or for you guys to allow me to grow and reform “Hollywood’s expectation” of a “perfect female”thanks for you time <3,Tatyana I.
