jesse ruizHello I had attempted to leave a reply here a few days ago well anyways my name is Jesse Ruiz…I was born in San Diego CA…raised there but also in the imperial valley, which is about an hour and a half east of San Diego…I have moved around alot and have lived in different places in southern Cali…just recently I moved out to el paso Texas…here’s the thing where I lived there wasn’t much opportunities for aspiring actors…in fact the community college I was attending dropped the only theater class it offered a semester after I had enrolled…most of my friends weren’t aware of yearning to become an actor…but I wasn’t fully aware of it myself to be honest…anyways since moving out here to el paso….the acting scene is definitely more visible…Ihave enrolled into the community college here and have officially begun taking acting classes…what I have to realize is that and I have also been told, is that I have a natural ability for acting…I really do enjoy the class….however I am not naive nor am I arrogant in any shape or form…I know that I can be better…I strive to be better…I can take constructive criticism…I am my own worst critic…I am not bitter when someone is better than me…I take it merely as motivation to get better…work harder…I would love definitely an opportunity for this show…as most others would…I can not speak for others…only myself…I know I have great potential for this…I know in all reality it’s a long shot but it’s definitely worth attempting…like the great Michael Jordan said, “you miss 100%of the shots you don’t take”…I may not carry the credentials some have but I have things you can’t measure…heart, will, commitment, and humility…for some brief info about myself…I am 20 years old…I am Mexican-American…I am fluent in both English and Spanish…I do have an accent…I am also a boxer/mixed martial artist…I am 5 foot 7….I have an athletic build however I will admit I am not insanely ripped or anything…but I am working for that…I am a manager at Zumiez a skate and clothing shop…I have two dimples when I smile…I have been told by some that I am good looking however I say without trying come out as vain…altho I more than likely failed at that ha but all I ask is for a chance thank you 0 Reply November 15, 2012
