juliet aiyakhareHi..everyone is my first time commenting on this blog… I would love to be apart of this wonderful reality show changing lifes of people i know am poor but in all way i give thanks to God i have a talent of singing but have never came out to world show my talent because of fear and how people would see me but now am letting go of my fear to become a star that i have always dreamt of i leave in a room apartment with my dad, mum and three siblings and am seventeen years old. 0 Reply January 27, 2015
Yuvia De LunaHello my name is Yuvia De Luna I was very iffy about commenting since one of the main requirements is that the coaches would have to come live with the contestants and at the moment I live in a one bedroom apartment with my mom, older sister, and grandparents. I am 15 years old and have been singing for as long as I can remember, I am currently in my 5th year of choir and I am a sophomore. Reasons I should be considered? Well I have a dream that most people have and I would like it to come true. I want to become a famous singer, and the first thing I think of when I say those words is how incredible it would be to help people heal through music as it has done for me. I suffer from anxiety and depression, and yes I have had all the therapy and medications but nothing has helped me more than music, nothing has helped me find myself more than music, and though I don’t know who I want to be yet I know music will help me find that, and I just want to do that for other people because its hard. I have tried to picture myself doing other things with my life maybe being a teacher or psychiatrist but that to me is like giving up on my dream, see being a singer is tough and well I’ve had a tough life and we have a lot of financial issues so when my mom hears that I want to become a singer she says in the nicest way possible “lets think about your back up plan” my family is encouraging and amazing and I just want to show that all the sacrifices they have made are really worth it. I just can’t picture myself being ordinary in life, and singing is my absolute passion and I need to do it, there is just no other way around it. 0 Reply January 25, 2015
Gloria AhamefuleMusic is life to me. It brings happiness to my being. There’s a song for every activity going on in my life, so it helps me get through every day. I feel fulfilled and happy when singing and i believe when you enjoy what you do, you do that thing to the best of your ability. But i’ll let you to be the judge of that. 0 Reply January 22, 2015
AllisonEver since I was a little kid I have dreamed of singing. I sing when I clean, I sing when I’m driving, I sing to my kids, even sing to my dog. Life hasn’t quite turned out the way I expected. I’ve had a difficult time. I always did well in school and thought I would become something great, but instead of finishing college I got married and had my two kids. We have been struggling financially since the start. I love my family more than anything and wouldn’t trade them, but I have always felt like I was meant to do more. In school I was in the choir and could never wait to be in the spotlight. I sang Hero ny Mariah Carey in front of my entire junior high and got comments on how I sounded like it was right off the cd. I watch the show Glee religious and feel so alive when I am singing along. After the show is over I always ask myself, “Why are you not pursuing this?”. I NEED TO SING! I need more. Please choose me for the show. 0 Reply January 19, 2015

Arek WolHi my name is Arek Wol and I am 13 years old. Ever since I was little I was surrounded by music all through my life. I know how to play the piano and sing and I love to entertain people. I joined the choir and anything that had anything to do with music. In my life my family struggles to make a living and I hope my talent will help them. Through all the rough times I always thought of music and it changed my day. I believe music has a huge affect on people and I want to inspire people with music. I also have a large vocal range and really good at singing because I’ve been taking singing lessons since I was 7 years old. It doesn’t matter if you’re really good at singing the notes it how the people react to your emotion to the song. I believe that I have a chance to become a singer. Thank you for reading this entry. 0 Reply November 10, 2014
Marzely DarbouzeHey my name is Marzely Darbouze. I’m 18 and I’m from Billerica, MA. At a young age I knew that God had a plan for me. My middle name Christella means, “Christ was here” in my second language Creole. My mother gave me that middle name for a reason. Since day one God has been there for me and I know he’ll continue to be here for this journey. I have been singing since I was seven years old and my love for music continues to grow every single day. Singing is my escape from anything stressful in my life. I’m currently going to school to become a corporate lawyer but my family and I know that my true passion is to become an incredible singer that young girls look up to. The journey won’t be easy but I am ready to put in all of the hard work in order to make my dream come true. I would be honored to be apart of this show. I pray I get this chance because I won’t disappoint! 0 Reply November 5, 2014
Glenn KroetenSimply put, I can sing better then anyone you’ve ever had on your show. No bull, No false sense of ability. Problem is I don’t have a sad story, or rags to hopefully riches possibility. I’m normal individual, who needed to work to live and provided, now its time to follow my dreams.Sad fact is: your 20 something screener / producer has no clue, and I have serious doubts that anyone even writing in the comments section will be consider, or even read for that matter.Glenn 0 Reply November 5, 2014

I currently sing/play in a coal-region folk rock band and I would love to take my voice beyond the coal region! 😉 I have unique taste in music — I love a bit of everything, but prefer classic rock, folk and blues. As a full-time job I am a radio DJ, and I am always listening to all the new pop songs, knowing that I could do it better. Many people tell me that I should audition for the show. Being in front of a large group of people and putting my soul on the line is terrifying for me, but i belive to reach your biggest dreams you must first conquere your biggest fears. I am a good choice for this show because I love to sing and I am very outgoing. jana henryHi, Sounds like fun! I see others have written in re:someone else so I am writing in re: my brother, Gary Severns. We are in Las Vegas, Nv. I recently entered Gary in a talent contest at a large casino. He went all the way through to the finals but did not win. He was asked to do a spot at another casino variety show. Everyone loved him and was very impressed. One judge told him h should quit his day job, ( he is a painter).I always tell Gary he sounds better then original artists without a mixer board lol. I’ve put a few videos on youtube. Check him out. Just type in Gary Severns Do I (cover) Luke Bryan, or Gary Severns Tomorrow (cover) Chris Young or even Gary Severns Whiskey Girl (cover) Toby Keith. These are videos made at karaoke. Gary is super passionate about C&W music and sings with much feeling and and with a strong solid big voice. He is know at a few of the karaoke places here, like Gilleys Club, as “Big Sexy’ Please, give him a listen and a chance. Thanks 0 Reply June 10, 2014

Lindsay OsbornMy name is Lindsay! I would make a great contestant to your show because of my passion for singing /songwriting, my work ethic, life experience, and my tenacity. I am a 35 year old single mother of 2 wonderful boys. I have worked full time since the age of 13 to help support myself and my siblings. I grew up in small town Idaho and country music is rooted deep although I love almost all music! I have always loved to sing and always dreamed of having a career singing but until recently I did not pursue these dreams. After losing my father and grandfather within a year of eachother, I want to impact others in a big way and leave everything on the table with no regrets. I want to teach my children by example, more than anything, to believe in themselves and that dreams do come true if you’re willing to fight for them. All of my life experience has taught me that in order to succeed you must start somewhere and most likely fail several times before achieving your dream. Failure does not deter me. I love a challenge. My life has been filled with difficulty but I have embraced it and am so grateful for everything I have learned because it has made me into the person I am today. Thankyou for considering me for this opportunity! Lindsay 0 Reply June 8, 2014
Samantha HowardHi, my name is Samantha Howard. Music is my passion, and I want to spend the rest of my life doing it. As you probably guessed, I really enjoy singing dancing and acting. I spend 90% of my time putting effort into those things. Being a performer is all I’ve ever dreamed of. I am a fast learner, a great listener, I am able to compromise really well, and I have great multitasking and teamwork skills. I’m 5’4″, 24 years old, a big ball of energy and lots of fun. I attended and graduated from Oakwood University where I was classically trained. I am very versatile and can sing in almost any genre. I understand the long hours, hard work, and dedication that goes into something so big, so I am more than prepared for everything that will be thrown at me. I am also hardworking, very persistent, and open to constructive criticism. I’ve worked really hard and would greatly appreciate if you would consider me to be apart of this new show Thank you for your time. 0 Reply June 2, 2014

My best friend(who recently passed away from diabetes) and I used to copy our older brothers and their friends who were always singing. My friend always told me I could sing, but I thought he was just being a friend. Unless I was joking around, I would only sing around him. As an adult I’ve become a little more courageous and still receive the compliments. I finally did Karaoke five years ago and loved it. Auburn PerryEver since the age of 2, my life has been surrounded by music. My father, who is a singer himself, sang everywhere he went and competed in many karaoke contests winning every one. When I’m singing, there is no limit and every emotional within me is heard in my voice. Though I’m scared I feel as though being scared is keeping me from what I love to do, and that’s what being an artist is about; because if you’re not scared to do things then it’s not a real passion. 0 Reply May 6, 2014

KealaHi, I am 32 yrs old and a stay at home mom of 7 beautiful children!! My dreams and aspiration of becoming a singer and the love to sing started at an early age as a child! I was told by my siblings that I was tone deaf and I couldn’t sing!! Although as much as I drove them crazy singing all day lol, I took it upon myself to correct the way I sang! Everyday I practiced singing and recorded myself so that I could play it back and hear my self sing. It did not take one night to correct it but months until I could sing in tune! I would love to have the opportunity to do what I love most and that is to sing and to also to be a role model to my kids and others as well with a message to never give up on your dream and whether you go far in life or not at least you can say “I did it” and feel proud of yourself and no regrets!! 🙂Thank You, Keala 0 Reply February 27, 2014

V RushI HAVE A GENUINE LOVE OF MUSIC AND I LOVE TO SING. You will not find a more passionate singer in the world. I’ve been doing this since age 2 and I’ve been training choirs since age 8. The Winner Is will make it possible for my voice to be heard by the masses. Also, I want to be able to help my mom. She is a mother of 8(one passed away at age 5) and a widow. She just wrote a book and I would like to help her promote that. I would love to record an album and finish my degree. Fame is NOT my goal, but I want to help my family and achieve my goals in life. NBC, please give me a chance to be a contestant on the fairest show on tv. I believe its fair because its based on talent and not texts and facebook votes. Help me make my dreams come true. Thanks, V Rush 0 Reply February 26, 2014
LASHAWN STOKESI’ve been singing since I was 5. Its not only a talent but I believe its a ministry gift and tool to help the hurting. I often poor my soul out through my music and it also seemingly delivers me. I’ve dedicated my time and voice to others and now am wanting to give back to me. I am now 35 and feel unfulfilled. I know that Ive never stopped using my gift but have seem boxed in this passion. After supporting my parents ministry, my husbands ministry and raising my children, I feel its now time for me to be supported. Please choose me and you can be apart of the ministry has instilled inside of me. 0 Reply February 25, 2014

JynxieI’m a 34 y.o. single mother of 4 kids 2 of which are autistic. I have Multiple Sclerosis and I am numb in over 40% of my body. I had to learn how to walk and use my hands all over again when I lost the feeling in my limbs permanently. Through all this the only thing that has kept constant in our lives is my voice and love of singing and song writing. I had a song that is a tribute to those with MS that was in the VH1 Indie Pop top 100 in March 2010 called Only Plea. If I could make a living for my family singing I would never stop. I want to take my kids away from the barely making it by life we have to one where they are always happy and have all they need. The only thing I can do no matter how bad my MS gets is sing. I must make it. Please audition me. youtube.com/kimberlygbianco 0 Reply February 23, 2014
Kandice DodsonI’m 30 years old, I am a Bartender in Raleigh NC. I love to sing, its the first thing on my mind when I wake up and the last thing when I go to bed. At 17 years of age I competed in a National vocal competition and won 2nd place. I have been singing in front of audiences and congregations since the age of 5. I believe I have what it takes to make some record label millions. I have also recorded in a few studios….at 14 I was signed with MRM productions which turned out to be a waste of time. Please email me back…. I”ll make it worth your while.Thank you~ Kandice Dodson 0 Reply February 22, 2014

Alexis KaminHi! My name is Alexis, I am a 28 year old Los Angeles resident. I have had terrible, paralyzing stage fright my entire life, but I am just finally starting to be able to move past it and feel comfortable performing in front of an audience with a choir. I am funny, outgoing and full of life and optimism. I hope to get out there and make the jaws of all of my friends and family’s jaws hit the floor when they realize that I have been hiding this talent all along. 0 Reply February 17, 2014
