Vampire Diaries – The CW

The program follows Dobrev’s Elena Gilbert, who’s life in her sleepy town of Mystic Falls, Virginia is turned upside down when vampire brothers Stefan and Damon Salvatore (Wesley and Somerhalder) return to the town after 145 years and begin to fight for her affections. The show is filled with romance, intrigue and the supernatural and has quickly become the television equivalent of the mega-hit Twilight films. I was a cheerleader for many years and have been dancing (ballet, jazz, tap) and performing since I was 5.     First of all I want to clarify why I would love to be a part of the vampire diaries. For that matter I need to tell a little bit about myself first. I’m from Austria and I currently live in Vienna. Up to the present I have been in an educating program to become an English teacher at the university of Vienna. To be honest, I never thought of me as an “English person” – I was average in school and had a hard time building a correct sentence even if I wanted to. But a couple years back a friend of mine told me about The Vampire Diaries and told me to watch it – in English. It took a while but I finally watched it and surprise it was GREAT! – obviously 😉
    After watching the first season I memorized vocabulary much easier. I understood the things that were said in class like it was nothing and ultimately I became the best English student in my class. And why ? Because of The Vampire Diaries ! My passion and understanding for English started with TVD and lead me to become a teacher.
    You might think this is already a good plan to build a future on, but besides my wish to become an English teacher I always dreamed about being an actor myself. I’m not only interested in the final result I’m also curious about the making of and the background behind such an awesome series. So I would take this as the greatest opportunity of all times to be on the opposite side and maybe inspire someone else to love English as much as I do. Furthermore it would be the greatest experience to work on a set and help create something so special – The Vampire Diaries.

    Reason Why I Think I Should Be On The Show:
    First of all, I just want to say I love the show. You have so many talented actors and the crew are amazing because the show is spectacular. I love watching it, I thoroughly enjoy watching The Vampire Diaries.

    I’m not from America, but I’ve been there once for 1 month and really enjoyed my stay there in LA – California, I’m going to NYC in January/February time with my high school – Dorcan Academy, in Swindon.

    You will probably want to know about me, well, you have all of the important details higher up on my post. I’m not the most popular girl in school, i’m not interested in acting ‘bad’. I’ve had problems in life, parents breaking up young, teen drama all that sort of stuff.
    But I have a real passion for acting and singing.
    When I act, I can be a completely different person, whoever I want to be.
    I’m currently in a school Christmas Production of the famous film ‘Elf’ set in NYC.
    I’m one of the main parts during the end of the film.
    Most of the reason I got the part is because of my American accent.
    I can do a lot of various accents.
    I haven’t had a REAL shot, to show my acting skills.
    But I am a confident, outgoing, bubbly person, and I have a lot of motivation, when I want something I don’t stop until I get it.
    I want to make something of my life, whether you think that I am too young to be on the show just now, but even so, I won’t give up, and I’ll try again next year or after that.
    I may sound a bit crazy or over the top, but I aspire to do things that push the limit.
    I have a real passion for everything that I do.
    I’m a fighter, I’m strong, I’m passionate, loving, crazy but my friends say I’m loveable.

    Hi! I’ll admit that my ex girlfriend introduced me to Vampire Diaries a few years back. What I’ll also admit is that I enjoy it thoroughly. There are few supernatural dramas on television that I’m willing to watch, or really get into for that matter, and the last one I really followed was Buffy the Vampire Slayer with my sister growing up. I suppose I just really enjoy vampire related dramas?
    I’m a martial arts instructor and coach and I work with people every day, so you say I can give and take commands pretty well. I write in my spare time as a hobby, I”m open to different ideas or points of view, and tapping into creative resources is fairly normal for me. I also part time as a magician, so being crafty and entertaining is something I can definitely state that I have.

    My name is Bryanna Gallagher but pretty much everyone calls me Bry for short. I currenty live near Napa,CA and am going to college. Honestly right now I’m supposed to be filling out my college applications so I can transfer but I know that even though I get good grades its only because I’m able to memorize things extremely well, not because I’m really learning the material like other smart students. All of my classmates ask me how I do so well on all of our exams and I always tell them it’s because I lock myself in my room and memorize all the material untl there is nothing left to study. My dad always used to joke and tell me he was going to get me acting lessons and I would always roll my eyes because that was never going to be me until now. Never before have I been so sure of something. Not only can I cry at the drop of a hat but I can learn lines quickly and think on my feet. I’ve been taking a speech class this semester and every seech I have given I have memorized the day before (not entirely by choice) and I have gotten an A+. My teacher even asked if I ever thought about joining a speech team because I am so good at remembering my speech and I have a way of not making it seem like I’m being told I have to give a speech. I was the only person who wasn’t given any type of feedback on how to improve. I’m really a person who takes important things seriously but I do like to have fun. My sister and I always goof off and our friends say we need our own reality show. I know I’m not meant to go to Med school like everyone in my family thinks I should be doing. There has always been a tiny part of me that thought I would perform in some type of show (because I used to be a dancer) but never until now did I think I would be wanting to act. My sister and I always do this thing where we yell interpretive dance time and we put on our itunes and randomly pick a song and I have to act out the song through dance and let me tell you there is nothing funnier than witnessing that! I love The Vampire Diaries show and I think people would be blown away if they could just see what I could do as an actress. I mean hey my dad is always telling me I need to find a good paying job so why not pick me! I’m not meant to waste my life memorizing a textbook. I’m meant to waste my life memorizing a script and doing something I would really love to do. Lately my parents have been on my case about what I really want to do when I graduate and it really scares me because every option I think I have isn’t the one for me. Today I saw a really great movie and I just knew this is what I’m supposed to be doing not finding out the taxonomy of a sea star or how to do a halohydrin reaction. Now just throwing this out there I’ve seen episodes of made on MTV and I would like to know why every single person who wants to be made is so willing to quit less than half way through the process. I am absolutey not a quitter and I have never quit anything befrore. Those people have been given a chance of a lifetime and they are always complaining about how they want to go hang out with their friends instead of working toward their goal. It just makes me so frustrated sometimes seeing those people not take full advantage of what has been given to them. If I had such an opportunity as to be on this TV show I would leave school along with my 3.937 GPA so that I could do something that I know I could really be amazing at and would definitely love to do. It’s sad because as I’ve been filling out my college applications I’ve almost been secretly wishing I don’t get in so that I can go out and do something that I know is what I should really be doing with my skills. So please pick me. I don’t want to be te girl who has the talents that are needed to be an actress but they go to wasted because she was always told she should go to college and graduate an be an someone that helps people. Being an actress could let me help people because I can help them enjoy a great show like The Vapire Diaries because I am very capable of playing a fictional character. I really really do love this show so much and I watch it every thursday night and becoming a part of it would be an amazing experience and I would really like the chance to do that.
