JuliaOkay, so here I go, I guess. Umm, I guess I’ll start with my name haha. My name is Julia, I used to be asking my mom why she always watches these “scary” (how I used to think lol) supernatural shows but after watching this, I was hooked. Ross DeRossetteHello. I know I may be at a young age, but I think I have what it takes to be in the new season. I really really love the show and I love how beautifully done the sets are. I think I’m a great choice for a new role for many reasons. One reason is that I’m confident and never nervous. It’s taken me a while to not be nervous. I used to be very very insecure, but I realized that narrow minded people’s thoughts shouldn’t be taken to consideration. Second, I have the looks and the talent. George Odarkwei LampteyHelloI recently watched the entire seasons 1-3 of The Vampire Diaries over the last few weeks. It was something I decided to watch due to the high ratings and from episode 1 I was gripped. There is so many positives from the excellent cast, great writing and excellent casting of characters. As a black British actor with a keen interest in fantasy and supernatural genre I started to believe there was a part for me in this show. I see somebody who is linked to the Originals but also to the first witch Ayana. He is a debonair Vampire that oozes charm and has similarities in gentlemanly conduct to Elijah. Always exquisitely dressed he becomes part of the push and pull of story lines and has two distinct sides to his personality. The strong and self assured to the vulnerability of loneliness which he shares with Niklaus. I’m a character actor and believe I have a strength in showing different layers to a character and bring a sense of realness to all my characters. Not only have I always had the thrilling idea of working on projects dealing with vampires and werewolves, but to experience it through watching it in a more realistic setting than so many of these other shows/movies try to depict. I’ve not only been curious about how each angle is captured and the specific “perfect” lighting for each character is created, but I’m left feeling this need to fulfill the dream I have to be a part of something that is meaningful, exciting, full of hard-work and challenge. Having been trained in acting/script/theater and feeling extremely comfortable in front of the camera, I could not help ponder the actual chance that I could become a part of my favorite series. I’am a very dedicated person, commited, polite (well-mannered), I can memorise and remember things quickly, I’am adaptable and I can relate and connect to characters successfully.I came across The Vampire Diaries by accident whilest watching tv and I must say ever since I have been addicted and such a big fan, I have got all the seasons on dvd up to date and I have read all the books. I find the story line so interesting and brilliant, I admire the work of all the actors and producers. My ambition is to move to america and do everything I have ever dreamed of and if I got this once in a life time chance I would be so greatful. DeAnthony EvansHello my name is DeAnthony Evans I’m excited at the fact I even found this, but I want to start off by saying this show is so awsome! Just the thought of bieng something out of this world and making it real drew me to the brilliance of the show. Also the fact that vampires are just cool and it’s a challenge I would love to take on in my passion for acting. I’ve been acting for sometime now and I’ve been blessed enough to take on a few projects in this profession, but nothing major. I’ve just been waiting for that chance to show my stuff and help benefit the amazing world of acting. This show could definitely be my outlet because I believe I have what it takes to join the excellent cast of vampire diaries and I want to show it. I know first hand that actions speak louder then words and if I’m given this opportunity you won’t regret it.
